For the life of me I cant understand why the employees that work in the meat department at this location are so reluctant to wrap up any of the good steaks that are on display. Every time I request two Porterhouse steaks the workers feel the need to aggressively advise/suggest the other steaks on sale already out on the floor. In most cases the steaks on the floor are not up to par with the displayed steaks. When I tell them that I dont want those steaks they either get irritated (complete with a deep sigh and eye roll) or tell me they need to cut some and its going to take awhile. What am I missing here?? For several months I chose to just drive further out to the Willoughby Commons location and get my steaks there but why should I have to go out of my way just to be able to purchase an item thats for sale peacefully?? I shouldnt have to make my request more than once and put up with a nasty attitude. Especially when these steaks are not free or cheap!!

Store Shopping is great.. DO NOT USE THE PHARMACY.... UNFRIENDLY and WAY over Priced... I switched to WAL-Mart... They will not match here or help and very unprofessional.. I am Disabled and live close to the store and was switched meds from my doctor.. well needless to say My insurance at 1st did not approve the meds and I had to pay cash for the 1st few months and had to use the GOOD RX Discount Card.. Cash Price was $968.00 at Giant Eagle Discount Card $578.00, called Wal-Mart Cash Price Before RX Card $658.00 with Good Rx Card $324.00.. Shame on all you Pharmacys that pull this crap.. Its Wrong.. Plus they could have cared less that I needed these meds and would not work with me.. LONG TIME CUSTOMER.. Was treated like a Drug Addict.. we have very little money coming in cause I had to file for disability and they could of cared less about me a few others going through the same.. I am very thankful to Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Eastlake, Ohio and Mentor, Ohio

This location is small and crammed compared to other locations. Ordered a birthday cake from the bakery and while the girl was taking my order she began to pick at her teeth (Gross) . I finished placing my order as a formality knowing that I wasnt going to get it . The bank is hidden around a corner by the pharmacy and you wont know that because there is no signage. I rarely shop here because even on sale their food is overpriced for standard quality. I went there to use the gift card exchange kiosk and it has obviously been malfunctioning for some time , but you dont know that until youve wasted over 5min. They need to be removed as a kiosk location online or get the machine fixed . Im never in a rush but all of the front end workers move pretty slow .

This Giant Eagle has really gone down hill in the past few years. Not many workers there and none of the sections like bakery, meat....etc seem very friendly. They also seem to make up random rules like they stop making donuts at 5pm, and if you come around 8pm they have no donuts in the display case but instead throw them away. Such a waste. They also have big problems with thieves and trouble makers. Which is why there is a cop there usually all day, but especially at night. Its also why they cut back the stores hours for safety concerns. They also love to change the layout what feels like every few months. Its why I go to the Willoughby one instead now. At least the cashiers are relatively friendly.

Every single time I dont check my receipt before I leave the store I always find a mistake and have to go back so I jumped in the car and drove the mile-and-a-half back to get my 5 bucks and guess what they were closed. So I called the store and I said why are you closed its only midnight and the guy said well we close at 1 a.m. so I said well its only midnight and he said oh I meant to say 11 p.m. even they dont know when theyre open and closed. Just aggravated because theres always a mistake.

This was my favorite store and most of the employees are courteous but it only takes one to spoil your experience. The prepared food section has some of the rudest folks behind the counter but the queen of mean is the older, petite, grayed haired, Caucasian woman with the glasses. I just cant take her anymore and wont shop there anymore. That grump needs to retire.

Everything is over priced, if you can make it to Aldi down the road before they close, absolutely do! I only use this store when everything else is closed. The staff is never friendly nor knowledgable. They dont usually have too many cashiers, mostly self service stations.

Giant Eagle stores are great to get things you cant get elsewhere. They are way too expensive. I get only sale things there. They may be expensive, but their meat is high quality. Love those sales. The staff is very helpful.

Has a fairly good variety of stuff. Theres a good chance theyll have what youre looking for (or at least something comparable) at any given time if youre in a pinch. Has a bank and pharmacy too.

Ordered a certain cake, got the completely wrong thing, at least they made it free. Asked worker to get somebody to blow up balloons waited 15 min,no one ever showed. Clean store though.
