To Whom It May Concern, Im so very disappointed in Publix Bakery Store #752 on Panola Road. God knows I should have ordered at my hometown store in Covington, zipcode 30016 but this store is 3-5 minutes from the wedding reception venue in another county, zip code 30058. Three months ago I attempted to order my wedding cake but was told by the Asst Bakery Manager that I was early and should come back 4 weeks before my Wedding Oct 10 date. Per your website: “Please place your order with the Publix Bakery at least four (4) weeks in advance”. Why my order could not be taken then is beyond me? Anyway, my mom and I came back 4 weeks to wedding date on Thursday, September 10. The same Asst. Bakery Manager again seemed to be "too busy" & "could not be bothered ". I told him we are back and ready to order my wedding cake. He told me come back in 2 weeks. I mean "damn" Why are your employees turning away customers who are bringing business? Fast forward, to September and my sister and I come back to place my order and neither the Manager or Asst Bakery Manager is there. So this clueless, frazzled bakery employee tells me I needed to come 2 weeks ago. I explained to her that I WAS HERE TWO WEEKS AGO, MATTER OF FACT I WAS HERE THREE MONTHS AGO. So she proceeds to call the Bakery Manager and Lisa gives her the go ahead. By this time Im pissed because I have to literally help the lady fill out the cake forms because she stated she never did a wedding order before. (My order: Stardust 10, 8, 6 inc plus 2 sheet cakes, 1 half sheet cake and a 8" carrot cake) The lady proceeds to tell me that I should not pay but make a deposit. Again, WHY IS THIS BAKERY HAVING A HARD TIME PLACING ORDERS & TAKING PAYMENTS. So I made a $100 deposit and was told to pay the remainder on the Saturday of the wedding, Oct.10 (No we did not read anything because we were told to pay the remainder on Oct. 10) Fast forward to wedding morning, we get a call that my order is being cancelled because we failed to pay 24hrs in advance of Oct. 10. My sister calls back and informed Lisa the situation eventhough she insisted she told us of the policy, which she DID NOT. She also made mentioned that its on the order form. Well we didnt read the order form because we asked and was told to pay the remainder on Wedding Day. Needless to say, I rushed to Publix to make payment with a distressed Lisa, who looked like she had a lot to say but was trying her hardest to not cross the line. I really couldnt care about delivery issues, etc. as I informed her of her staffs errors. I reminded her that she told us she would have a "chat with her Asst Manager." Now given the story please because Im waiting to hear why my wedding cake was the LEANING TOWER OF PISA? Why did my family & friends have to monitor it so it does not fall? And why when we removed the peony flower on top MY CAKE FELL APART & CRUMBLED? And WHERE IN THE HELL IS MY OTHER FULL SHEET CAKE & 8" CARROT CAKE? I’m not going to go into details concerning the delivery issues because they brought out the wrong wedding cake until my decorator told them that cake could not possibly be the cake because my colors are PURPLE. I sent someone to pick up the other cakes. I paid a total of $509 and would like partial compensation for undelivered products and a disastrous wedding cake. A formal letter will be mailed along with pictures once I receive them from the photographer.

Since this is my local Publix, I visit this location very frequently. The facility is typically well kept and the managers as always pleasant. However, this location has the WORST produce department EVER!! Everything is typically sitting there for more than a week and you will often find a bunch of spoiled produce while you are shopping. I went to buy some nectarines and peaches, I assure you that ALL of the nectarine and peaches were soft, brown and SPOILED! Whenever, i buy onions the inside if brown and the strawberries are typically already molded by the time I go to buy them. Whenever, I ask for the produce manager he is never available and when he is in the store, whatever is said to him goes in one ear and out the other. I dread getting any produce from this location for such reason. Do yourself a favor, find another market or store to buy your produce because this one is THE WORST.

Great store, very clean. There is a cashier there that is always very lovely and accommodating. The prices are higher than the local Walmart, but Publix has a greater variety of QUALITY goods. For instance, for the life of me, I could not find nutmeg at Walmart to make my cross buns this past Easter. At the Publix I found several varieties of good nutmeg, and a few other baking items that I didnt find at the Walmart close to my house. Overall, shopping at the Publix tends to be a better experience as more lanes are often open, and the general atmosphere is brighter and nicer.

Worst Publix ever!! I had to wait in customer service line for 35 minutes.... with 3 customers service clerk. Just sloooooow!!!! Then I went to the Deli.... They didnt have any breaded chicken to go ready. So...... I had to wait another 20 minutes. And I still had to tell them I was waiting after 20 minutes. Which was 10 more minutes. Im so done with this store. Dont go unless you have an hour to waste. * Side note* The store is warm. And when youre storing shelved foods....it should be cold.....so food wont expire before shelf date. Ugh!! Store 101!!!

Im at this Publix two or three times a week for groceries or the pharmacy. The store is spotless, great produce, wonderful bakery, deli, and all the employees are the nicest people and always very helpful when needed. I have found this to be true at every Publix I have ever been in, and just want to give that company big kudos for being such a great place to shop, and for hiring such customer oriented people. May not be as cheap as Wal-Mart, but the little extra it costs really does make "shopping a pleasure"!

I am the Fairington Elementary school PTA president. I had food prepared for the Fairington Elementary staff for open house to which I had a check from our organization which the customer service representative or manager wouldnt accept it without a school Identification to go along with drivers license. I ended paying for the food out of my personal account for our schools faculty lunch. Im was very disappointed with my experience. Met one of the workers here called Stephanie. What an amazing person. I saw her in the parking lot collecting carts and singing in the blazing hot sun, l was like "wow"! Since then, shes always super helpful and kind and she just makes the whole shopping experience better. Theres not many people like that. Publix should be proud of her
