I regret to say that this place is terrible. Cartellis was 100x better of a restaurant. Once it closed we decided to give this place a shot. Bad call - we will never be going back. Margaritas are terrible. My girlfriend ordered one, sent it back (something she never does) and they gave her an equally bad margarita as a replacement. Food presentation is awful. They just slapped a few chimichangas and burritos on a plate - they looked terrible. My fish tacos looked terrible as well. Food was terrible. Fish was of very poor quality and they just had huge slabs of avocado on the tacos. That was basically it. No flavor at all to mask how bad the overcooked fish tasted. I did not finish my meal. My girlfriend did not finish her meal either. She had a combo plate and everything was bad. Service was terrible. Our waitress was clueless and made many mistakes. She didnt know what a FinestKind was (smuttynose IPA) when it was one of 6 beers they had on tap. Really? She came back twice to verify my order and took forever to get us our check. The ONLY saving grace of this place was the service we received from what must have been the owner. He was very good and made us delicious fresh guacamole next to our table. Everything else was awful though. If he had done everything himself I am sure that we would have had a great experience. Unfortunately his staff makes bad food, is bad at waiting tables, and mixes bad margaritas. Go to Margaritas a few miles away if you want good mexican food and margaritas. It is 20x better than this place... I cant help but think that this was the worst $50 I have spent in a very long time...

Personally I thought it was pretty good. Chips were nice and warm and fresh to start. I got the Guacamole which was very good. Some places over do on the lime, these guys didnt. For the entrée I got two chimichangas, one beef and one chicken. The cheese to meat ratio was really good. I would recommend the chicken, beef was... well beef (Im not a big fan of beef to begin with but I thought Id try it). Prices were reasonable ($11.99 for the chimichanga plate.) Drinks were strong, got a strawberry daiquiri because I like girly drinks when I get Mexican and the rum was very noticeable. So obviously a good sign there. Also as a note my girlfriend got two chicken enchiladas but they gave her cheese instead. Which was kind of a bummer so just keep in mind its a new place so Im sure there will be some mistakes. To wrap up, giving 4 stars cause they screwed up the order (which I know happens) and we were pushed quite hard to get the table side guac even after saying no a few times. Nothing big but worth mentioning.

I eat a lot of Mexican at a lot of different places so when I saw this place I did lunch there at my first opportunity. My first impression was that the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. One person seats you and disappears. Another comes and asks if you want a drink. A third person stops by to see....if you want a drink. Then a menu comes. Chips and salsa were below average. The salsa was pure tomato sauce and the chips tasted funny. I ordered the lunch size chicken fajitas. Tortillas were hot and fresh. Lots of chicken, onions and peppers but again a little bland. The sour cream salad/beans and rice plate was excellent. Hot plate, cold veggies and rice that was actually made recently. All in all pretty good Mexican for Dover if you can put the salsa and confused service aside. FAR better food and service than Margs and while Los Palmas is also good the food here was better. Worth the trip if you are not the center of the universe and can just relax and take what you get service wise.

Will definitely be back the next time I am in the area. The owner and all of the staff working here are awesome and the atmosphere is laid back and you feel welcome here. The food is really good. Salsa is yummy (and chips), I tried the street tacos, had the chicken and the carne asada. Both had a really good seasoning on them, tortillas were soft and it came with some green and red sauce to put on if you wish. They let me try their own homemade hot sauce which I will be putting on my tacos the next time Im here. It had really good flavor and a little kick to it as well! I had the fresh squeezed margarita, regular, mango and mango strawberry (dont judge I love my tequila). Really, really good. If you want fresh real Mexican food I suggest you come here.

We were so excited when we saw a Mexican Restaurant was opening in town. We went a few weeks after it opened and were let down by both the margaritas and food we ordered. The margaritas were overpriced and tasted mostly of an off the shelf sour mix. I ordered the Veggie Quesadilla that said it had lots of yummy veggies in it. I was delivered a plate that had two soggy tortillas and in the middle about a pound of sautéed onions and few sautéed peppers. Not only the were there none of the other vegetables the menu promised, but this quesadilla was not even possible to eat. It was a sloppy mess. Also, we were seated right outside the kitchen doors and it was unappetizing as there were spills and the door was swinging open the entire time.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is great and the staff is friendly. Some dont speak English so you know its authentic. If youre into that. I just dig the food. Im working my way around the entire menu and I have yet to be disappointed with a selection. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. On the right side is similar to a sports bar with TVs. On the left side is more dinner style.

This place is Great! The food is excellent. I especially love their guacamole - always freshly made. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The lunch specials are quite inexpensive, you cant beat it. What could be better than good food and prices? The staff! The owners are always there working and it shows. They really make you feel welcome. Everyone should try this place.

Great looking place with all the right tequila selections, but the food was horrible. Hard shell tacos were stale, chips were stale, beef was under cooked, salsa was like tomato juice and the margarita tasted like it was all mix. Im an avid fan of Mexican food and go to many restaurants around the area and this one is definitely disappointing. I wont be back.
