The Waterfront Bar and Grill looked very nice from the outside, and I am not from the area I live in New Jersey and I was visiting friends for the holiday. I am of age to drink and I understand I am from out of state and needed a few IDs to make sure I am the age it says. The bar tender upstairs took my card and scanned it and she came back and told my by ID said i was underage when you can ask your manager or another bar tender or even call the cops to make sure that my ID works because the date is cleared right there. Its not my problem that your scanner is broken but that does not mean that that bar tender had the right to tell me that I am not of age. I went down stairs to the other bar because I was annoyed that I drove all this way and I heard this restaurant was great and the people were great, so I went to a different bar tender and he said he was familiar with New Jersey licenses and he said I was fine. The manger came down stairs to the outside bar and asked who was the person that the scanner was not working and I told him that was me giving my ID since he was the manager he should know what every ID from states look like but instead he was disrespectful, and very rude taking my drink from my hand making a scene in front of my friends and other customers and throwing my drink away. Instead of being a rude manager to a customer, maybe asking for my license so that the manager could check it or not being rude at all. Because now that place lost customers from the way the manager treated an out of state person. I think its rude the way the employees talked to me and it was very disrespectful.

Desperately wanted to like this place since it seems like a perfect niche between overated East Bay Grille and humble but good Cabbyshack. The location is great and outdoor seating when the weather cooperates will be hard to beat. The fly in the ointment is the ho hum menu and the lackluster food. They need to get the chowder right for starters (luke warm and undercooked potatoes), if that isnt good there isnt much hope for more adventurous dishes. The lobster roll was a good attempt at more gormet angle with a baguette instead of the standard hot dog roll but the Waterfront fries seemed reheated and underseasoned. The cheese sauce accompanying the special fries was unedible. My companion had the pastrami sandwich, we think thats what it was but hard to tell due to the very skimpy serving of meat on the sandwich. For dessert we tried the key lime pie, an incredibly meager size sliced arrived and the texture was all wrong. Look somewhere else for waterfront dinning.

Tasty food tonite. I had the Tuscan Eggplant salad, son had fried shrimp and famous waterfront fries. The fries were worth the indulging. The shrimp dish had 7 shrimp. Considering the price, $18.99, and the current price of shrimp, I feel this one was over priced. Our waitress, Angel, was pleasant, which is not always the case at other local places. Our appetizer, bread and food all came out at the same time, I barely had time to take a sip of my drink when all kinds of plates arrived. We sat outside, upstairs, Thank heaven for a nice breeze. We have tried to experience all the local places during the last few years, most I would not return to, however this place is an exception and I will go back, next time mac and cheese with waterfront fries!

Just opened last night, thought we would try it out knowing there could be 1st night hiccups. Suprisingly, there were a few minor things I noticed but they seem to be on it too. Nothing big went wrong or long from what we experienced. Food was awesome...I had the best Fish and Chips I have ever had. Service was super professional, friendly, personable. Atmosphere is what Plymouth needs...a friendly, fun, relaxing, cool feel being there...and prices were better than the same old mega tourist traps crowding the area. Im going to wait a month or so before going back just because I know they will be super busy with the new buzz of a new opening. Place was packed already.

We went there on Sunday night around 630pm. The wait for a table on the deck (which offers excellent views of Plymouth Harbor) was around 30 minutes so we went to the bar and, because I was somewhat short on time, decided to eat there. Food was excellent...We started off splitting a Caesar Salad which was plenty big enough for two; it was excellent! For our entrees, I had the Chicken Marsala and my companion had the Linguini and Clams....both were excellent in terms of quality and quantity. The only downside was the music was a bit loud, but we will definitely return.

I tried out Waterfront last night as a possible new go-to bar. End of night, I made sure to head down to the restroom BEFORE close. They refused me entry, pointing me in the direction of the public restroom. After seeing that the public restroom was closed, I asked again to use Waterfronts restroom. They were rude and refused me entry. I drank at your bar all night, tipped your bartenders well, and you want me to pop a squat in Plymouth center?! No wonder this bar attracts trash. I dont go to establishments that treat their customers this poorly. Never again.

Went the with a GROUPON coupon. Would not go back to pay full price. Food was very mediocre. Steak tips were dry and had no flavor. Wife had seafood casserole dish that was very bland. Not very good for a $24 dish!! And the vegetables were not cooked well and also had no flavor. Very overpriced for the lack of quality in the food. Best part of the meal was the butter and roll. Frustrating spending that kind of money when you can cook it better yourself at home....or go to the 99 and get a better meal for half as much.

The food wasnt bad. My problem with this restaurant is they overcharged my credit card, which I didnt realize until the charge went through the next day. I attempted to contact them to question the additional charge on my card. Its been over a week and I have yet to receive a response. If you must eat here, I would suggest paying with cash.

Dont go there if you have an allergy they dont do enough to see that your food is being prepared with no cross contamination. My wife has a seafood allergie told the server when she ordered her salad with grilled chicken now two hours later were on our way to the hospital with seafood allergy food poisoning.

Good place to get some drinks if you like a crowded bar on the weekends. It usually gets busy and turns into more of a dance floor type place. But the food during dinner hours is pretty good. I am not crazy about anything on the menu but theres a nice view and its a fun atmosphere

Beer on tap was flat and bad, food was ok but every steak tip was cooked a different amount. Fries were amazing however, served with a side of the same cheese on their mac and cheese and had "house seasoning" which is just old colony crab seasoning made it almost worth the trip
