the staff is friendly and attentive, the fireplace is nice, but the food quality is not up to par for what youd expect on Queen Anne or for the price. The exception is their Involtini--that dish never disappoints. Love the bread and roasted garlic too. I really wish they would update the decor; the furnishings are really tired, dont mesh with the era of the building, and depressing. If they could just improve the food a notch and redecorate the dining room, bathrooms, and entryway in keeping with the style of the vintage building, it could be really nostalgic and inviting.

I went to Pasta Bella Christmas Eve with my son. We are Italian. We were told the restaurant was out of Italian bread at 7 PM. Later when we ordered Cappacinno, we were told the machine was broken. I have been going to Italian restaurants all over the US and this was a first. We went to Piccolinos a few nights later. The food portions were larger and the food was far suoerior to Pasta Bella. The experience was very disappointimng. I left mt name and number and never received a courtesy call from the ownerb who was vacationong in Mexico. We wll not reiurn.

My boyfriend took me out to dinner here. He knew that I was on a mission of finding the best Spaghetti Bolognese in town. So I tried the Bolognese and he had some type of white sauce with fettuccini. I am huge red sauce fan and I don’t usually like white sauce, that was until, I tried my boyfriend’s fettuccini. I couldn’t stop eating off his plate! My Bolognese, on the other hand, was just mediocre. But thanks to Bella pasta, I have given white sauce a second chance.

Went here with my mother-in-law and my wife looking for a good, reasonable, diverse meal with good service and better wine. We got what we were looking for! We all got different dishes with wildly different flavors (cheesy, fresh, and heavy spicy) and all were great. Portions were large, especially with the wine! All the above combined with the Queen Anne neighborhood and smiling faces surrounding us made Pasta Bella fantastic. Definitely recommended.

It was good homecooking but for everything that was right there was something that could have been right. From where they sat us for my reservation and then moved us half way through dinner to a booth without our request to the menus that really needed to be replaced. However the service was friendly and the ambience charming. Its great casual italian that is just so. Large menu to choose from.

A great hole in the wall restaurant with excellent handmade pastas and sauces. I got the Fettuccine Marsala con Funghi and it was delicious! What makes this place so good is you can taste the freshness and unique flavors which you cant find at typical italian restaurants. They have an expansive menu, so take a deep breath! Great dessert wines as well!

Cozy atmosphere. Waiter was personable and friendly. The Penne Cove Mussels for a starter was very good. My companion had the hot seafood salad which she really enjoyed. I had the spaghetti marinara, which was a 2/5 at best not terrible but just no taste, not flavorful. Would not order it again.would I go back to try something else, Yes.

Amazing food & great environment. I had their pumpkin ravioli and it was amazing!!! My husband still raves about how they bring straight garlic out to spread on the bread. Pricey but with an Entertainment Coupon, definitely doable on a budget or great for special occasions. The bread pudding was also the best Ive ever had!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Great food. Cozy atmosphere. All the things I like. On one trip they got a little busy when we were there celebrating my fiances birthday and the owner started to wait on our table. Wow! Never disappointed when I go there. The specials change up the menu well and the house wine is very good.

Forewarning.... the service is SLOW. However, if you use that wait to get excited for the food you will not be disappointed. The place is comfortable, the food is AMAZING, and the bead you get ahead of time with roasted garlic makes the wait all worth it. I went for the first time last night & WILL go back.

I cant say enough great things about one of my all time favorite places on earth. Intimate, romantic, they have never failed me. If you are looking for a restaurant that understands that dining is an experience to be enjoyed, not rushed, and life is to be savored than I cant imagine a better place.

Ive been frequenting PB for over 6 years and I havent been disappointed once. Prices are good for the quality you receive. Atmosphere is quaint, if not a little stereotypical, but I personally love it. They even got big band and the crooners playing in the background...its a perfect place.

The atmosphere was fabulous, the service was impeccable, and the food was beyond delicious! The owner is very hospitable and made rounds to all tables to ask about the experience. We were very impressed by Pasta Bella and will definitely be returning and recommend to anyone in the area!

The food here is so delicious! The only downsides are the restaurant can get quite loud and sometimes the service isnt great. But, if youre looking for good pasta, this is the place to go! I love the mushroom fettuccine.

Amazingly pleasant place right on 15th NW in Ballard. Salads are inconsistent, everything else has been wonderful. Just a terrific neighborhood restaurant.

Great food, nice wait staff, and the owner is there a lot. The crab and spinach manicotti was very good. Bread while you wait is nice and crusty.

I had an excellent seafood-Italian pasta dish. The food appears to be cooked to order, so be patient. Modest interior, but clean. Recommended.
