Of the many Mexican Restaurants here in town, "in my humble opinion" this is one of my favorites. This restaurant, which originally established itself in Fremont, California opened one here. The restaurant opened in what was Tracys outlet malls but lost its luster over the years to the point that the original businesses have since moved on. The restaurant is situated next to interstate 5 with easy exit and entrance to the freeway. The restaurant is also somewhat obscured because its situated in this outlet mall. The restaurant itself is large enough to hold large groups with an adjacent room for banquets or other special occasions. This restaurant has a bar and a couple of large screen TVs for sporting events. The staff here is friendly and is attentive to your needs. I love their tortilla chips and salsa thats included with your meals! They come warm and never stale and with their homemade salsa, can quickly fill you up. Their menu is well organized with pictures and their daily specials are posted as you first enter the establishment. Ive tried many of their dishes but my favorite is their combination platters. My favorite is their "Chilli Releno, rice & beans, salad or house soup and of course their endless chips and salsa. Of course after that meal who can resist their homemade flan which is always our favorite dessert dish here. Overall in my opinion this Mexican Restaurant is worth your stop in for lunch or supper.

The food was awful. The salsa was so bland, it tasted like ketchup with water in it. The chips were bad quality and stale. I got a burrito with shredded chicken and it was chewy and gross. I dont think they cooked it enough either because soon after my meal, I found myself in the bathroom with symptoms Id experienced once before, which had come from food poisoning. 0/5, the food was awful and made me literally sick. There werent any spices in it either. I dont recommend consuming anything from this place, and I wish health inspectors would go undercover here and see whats going on. And no, theres no possibility anything else I ate caused my symptoms because this was my first meal of the day. I was just fine before eating. I can say with absolute certainty that I will never eat from here again, and I would recommend others to err on the side of caution and find another place to dine. The horchata was amazing though.

The Chips & salsa are great. Crunchy chips & spicy salsa. Thats what I am talking about. The menu is huge w/ everything you could want from a Mexican food standpoint. I ended up going with the 3 item plate so I could sample the different meats. I tried the Steak, Shredded Beef and Chile Colorado. I thought the Chile Colorado was ok but didnt have quite as much flavor as I hoped. The other 2 meats were standouts though, super tasty, with the shredded beef being my favorite. Ill definitely be going back there.

Went for a paint nite and the service was poor. The waiters kept passing me by. I had to keep flagging them down. They forgot about my order and to bring me a drink menu for at least 39 minutes until I flagged a waitress down to ask. They got my order wrong and because I was a part of the paint nite group they automatically included the tip in the bill...more than I would have paid for the bad service. Food was mediocre.

In a word. .. superb !!! My first time ever at El Patio in Tracy, Ca. Ohhhhh yes, I will be returning without a doubt....Heres my review: Facility - Clean and attractive design/decor Service - Good Food - Excellent I cant rave enough accolades for the appetizer (Chicharrone Botana). Chicken soup - yes, hands down delicious! Shredded beef enchilada and Chili Relleno with rice and beans. ....yummm

Very clean nice staff. Not a long wait. Has T.V.s for sports. Food big portions ,not expensive. Just a heads up if you use the restroom the lights our on a motion sensor, and will turn off while in there. Have your cell flashlight on .
