Despite the tell tell sign of a great resturant with a constantly crowded parking lot, we decided to not try the new and closer Antonios instead opting to drive across town to our favorite Italian place in Granbury, Pastafina. We were seated immediately at approximately 8:20pm on a Friday night. Let me start by saying that the food at Pastafina is ALWAYS delicious and tonight was no different. However, it took us more than 30 minutes from the time we got our drinks and complimentary bread to get our salads. It was pretty evident that our waiter had forgotten to put in our order. Mistakes happen. My issue is that there were 10 tables being served with 5+ wait staff walking around. At no time were we approached or checked on by anyone (never even saw a manager). Upon getting our salads it took another 15 minutes to get our food. By now my two and a half year old had resorted to eating parmesan cheese out of the shaker. Our waiter apologized that the cooks were alittle swamped (remember 10 tables total with food coming out consistently). After eating we waited another 10 minutes for a different waitress to being a check. Due to the looks on our faces, she apologized for our poor service stating that the waiter was new, only confirming that they knew there were issues and yet didnt step into help. We left disappointed, $44.13 poorer, and with a sleeping toddler after more than a hour of waiting. Now I know why the new restaurant is so popular.

I was physically threatened for complaining about multiple bad experiences here. Their service is horrible, their food is always cold, they cannot handle a table of more that 4. Family dinners have been ruined on multiple occasions. When picking up a Togo order, I complained that I had watched my food sit on a counter for almost 20 minutes and did not want to take cold food to my family. The manager refused to recook it and told me to take the cold order at no charge. I refused which angered him. I asked him to charge me for it, so that I could be done and never go there again. He threw my order in the floor of the kitchen and began screaming and cussing me, demanding I leave. I told him I just wanted to pay for my order and never return and he was being rediculous. He demanded I leave or he would "make me leave" making a show of taking off his apron. I found out in discussion with a server in the parking lot that the man threatening me is the owners son and treats customers like that on a regular basis. Avoid this restaurant. I pray that this horrible company/restaurant doesnt leave a horrible taste in the mouth of people who visit or vacation here.

I love Italian food. I also love to go to place like Pastafina so the food is made fresh, because I am highly allergic to garlic. On my trip there tonight I asked to make sure my meal could be made with out it. No problem, yet upon getting my food I noticed after eating half my meal w I was starting to have a reaction. I asked the waitress about it and started looking closely in my food and found slivers of garlic clove. I asked to speak to a manager and " they were busy"... I left to head tithe hospital and called to talk to a manager. After paying for our dinner. I spoke to the owner and explained what happen... His response was priceless...." we'll I ate dinner somewhere yesterday and got sick, I did not call ad complain. That is the difference between me and people like you" He then stated that it was not their fault and he did not understand what I wanted him to do.... I just want you to know I replied a s understand that this is life threading for people with allergies and he hung up the phone on me!!!! Wow! I have never been so angry. I will never eat here again

The atmosphere looks to be inviting, but the tables and chairs are waaaaay to close together. We were seated in the middle of the area, next to a fake, see-through, fireplace, which was ok since no one was behind us. The menu choices are pretty basic, with nothing outstanding or special. The Hostess and waitress were cordial and prompt. Then the food came. It looked ok, and just tasted ok, as though it was out-of-a-can ravioli. The sauces on all of our dishes was the same, flavor, consistency, portion, etc. No one flavor stood out from the canned tomato taste of the sauce. Nothing seemed freshly made, but conjured up a mental picture of many boiling pots with different ingredients, from which the dishes were put together. The prices were too high for the fast-food fare thats served. I couldnt believe how many families were bringing in little children, and paying these high prices for Pizza Hut tasting food. It may be conveniently located, but the food is average at best, and is an insult to true Italian cooking.

We came in after a full day of touring Revolver Brewery & Granbury Wine Walk. We got there before the dinner(6:15pm) rush so were seated quickly and after the long day that was very nice. Our waitress was very nice but pulled the one issue that bugs me but we will get to that later. I ordered the Pasta Rustica (grilled shrimp, scallops, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes in sherry wine sauce over linguine it was ample portion with great favors. My wife ordered the Pasta combo and after 3 bites professes she is done. The problem was we all over indulged on the fantastic garlic knots. But you have to ask for side of mixed dressing(parmesian, garlic in oil) it is phenomenal as dipping sauce for the knots. Now as i said early our waitress did a great job EXCEPT at the end she just brought our check and did not ask about desert. Granted I was full but it was early and we all knew we would want some tiramisu or chocolate cake later. So next time just ask..we could say YES!

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Granbury. We even held my (grown) daughters birthday party there. My favorite entrée is Eggplant Parmesan; it is the best Ive had at an Italian restaurant in Texas. My family also likes the Lasagne; it is more flavorful than some of the other restaurants in this area. Sometimes, depending upon the server, you may not get your drinks refilled or the attention you deserve; that would be my only complaint. But you can tip accordingly. Overall, the atmosphere and the usual friendliness and especially the food are A+.

We have been going here since it was back in the little house it started in. Then they added on to that, and then they bought the adjacent property and built the current restaurant. Weve always loved the food here and the service has always been good, too. Great menu with all your Italian favorites and some signature dishes of theirs not to be missed. Daily specials keep the kitchen staff on their toes and keep the "regulars" from getting bored. They also do a great job of catering..

I have frequented the restaurant and loved it every time. We used them as the caterers at our wedding recently and were absolutely blown away at how great of a job they did. They catered for 150 people without any mishaps. Great food. Plenty of servers. Sue coordinated it all and even volunteered to be the cake cutter. The only problem was that it was difficult at times to get in touch with her during the planning process. Overall, worth every penny and more!
