My fiance and I live about 25 min away we always take rides to Gloucester and decided one day to pick a place for drinks and good food. Was not disappointed with the marlin! It is now our favorite restaurant we go in at least once a month I believe their prices are pretty good you definitely get what you pay for. I can never finish my fish and chips and scallops. (Always a big piece of fish) Drinks are very good from their mixed specialty drinks to their sangria! Their staff is very friendly and professional Absolutely our favorite place!

Spicy fried calamari was not crunchy. It was drenched in a cream sauce, not crispy or crunchy. More of a pasty mess. And not a tasty pasty, just a mess. Best thing about the shrimp cocktail was the lettuce underneath the shrimp. The shrimp was severely over cooked and the cocktail sauce came in two plastic cups. One with ketchup and one with horseradish and you had to mix it yourself. Dont order either. That said, my wife said her cosmo was very good. My straight up vodka was fine, but thats hard to get wrong.

Yes we live really close by....that said, we could go anywhere in town...but we continually choose the Marlin because we just never get a bad meal. Our family of 5 always leaves there, satisfied, happy and stuffed! My husband and I give props to the Kona steak! YUM~so good! He also loves the size of the seafood platter! The kids love their mac and cheese (not Kraft!), and one of my faves is the Tuna over salad special they often have. You really cant go wrong

Delicious food. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer. It was sweet and crunchy. I had a "Cameron Alex" dish which was baked haddock shrimp, and scallops with a cheese sauce and crumbs on top. Very tasty. On the side-Butternut squash, and mashed potatoes. Even the bread was good. The only negative thing Id say is that one of the coconut shrimp still had 1/2 the black vein in it. Yikes.

Food was really good, except for a few way too overcooked shrimp. (Most of the shrimp were perfect mind you). Lobster was excellent. I didnt like their blue Havana drink, kind of tasted like aftershave.. But the waitress let me switch it out for a drink remanescente of a mudslide, which was much better. Service was great. So in effect, only a few hiccups.

My cousin told me about this place and suggested I visit. Great atmosphere and good seafood menu. a little disappointed that there was no luncheon sized scallop item. I had the scallop dinner plate and it was great. Extremely fresh seafood (haddock and steamers) enjoyed around our table. We definitely will be back!

Love the Blue Marlin Grille. Food is exceptional, the drinks are well made and great selection of beer. Service is friendly, knowledgeable and good even when busy. Great bar area with many TVs for game watching.

Not much healthy foods offered. However, the menu offers a large variety. The atmosphere is like a diner type feel with medal uncomfortable seats. They are pricey. The service was excellent.
