We noticed something as we ate the food at Tuscany Grill in Henderson. There was an award from about 12 or 15 years ago for something like "best Italian restaurant". That simple little award is indicative of the Tuscany Grill experience. The food was good. I wouldnt call it mind blowing or exceptional, but what I would call standard, good, restaurant quality italian food. However, there were definitely hints that some budget cutting has been going on. For example, I ordered the salad with blue cheese dressing, and my wife had ranch. The salad itself was nothing but lettuce drenched in dressing and a single thick slice of tomato. I noticed that my dressing wasnt really blue cheese dressing, but ranch dressing with a few blue cheese crumbles thrown in. We were offered bread, which we gladly accepted, but it was nothing beyond what you might pick up at the corner supermarket. Not huge problems, obviously, but little things that took away from making the meal "special." As we waited for our entrees, we looked around. It was dinner service on a Friday night. The restaurant wasnt quite full, and the only people in the room under age 50 were my wife and I. The entrees were great. We both chose to have fettuccine alfredo as our side-dishes instead of the regular pasta. The sauce was great, but we should have selected the tomato sauce to lighten up the meal! I had the filet medallions with asparagus and hollandaise. It was great. My wife, though had the chicken with lemon butter sauce, and it was delicious. We tried not to think about how much butter the chicken was swimming in as we ate every last bite. It was a very heavy meal. That award really sums up the restaurant. It feels like a place that hit its peak about 15 years ago. The decor, the food, the clientele, the service style and appearance of the wait-staff, all seemed to fit perfectly in 1999. Thank goodness the food was good, or else Robert Irvine would have been walking through the door doing a "restaurant makeover." I did notice, as we left, that the bar area had a younger crowd. Summing up: would I eat there again? Sure, if somebody else wanted to go there. Its just not my first choice.

Tuscany Grill has been me and my eight year old sons favorite place to dine. We usually go on his birthday and share a meal as we cant finish one on our own. We enjoyed our meal as usual but tonight the bill was much more than usual. I was charged a split fee and was told by the server that it was a new fee that couldnt be waved. Our total was over $30.00 to share a pasta meal and have one soda. I informed the owner that due to the price hike we could not afford to come share our favorite meal any longer. He did not seemed bothered... Looks like we will be looking for a new birthday celebration restaurant!

Had the best dinner with a very good friend of mine here tonight. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chill. The food was amazing!!! I had the lobster and filet mignon. Words cant describe the experience going on in my mouth. Last but not least, the service was impeccable. I think I counted at least 4-5 different people who were all working together to make sure our meal went smoothly. In a world of crappy service, the Tuscany Grill is a refreshing change. I will be goin back for sure!!!

Been planning on going here for awhile. Went there for fathers day. Man o man... Over priced and some terrible food. My prime rib was anything but. No marbling, no flavor, no crust, just a expensive slab of bland meat. Village pubs Saturday prime rib was better! Wifes chicken parm was like chilis chicken crisper with sweet ragu. The bread was probably the high point

This place is one of a kind. All the food is great and soup or salad with your choice of side is included. Me and my husband love the filet or blackened shrimp over rice. Their blue cheese dressing is wonderful on the tomato and onion salad. Donna, Sherry, Samantha and John make you feel like family. The best servers there.

This restaurant is a good place to get your Italian fix. I always judge Italian restaurants by their lasagna so, of course, I had the lasagna and it was really good! The service was good and all of the different dishes we enjoyed were tasty. We will definitely go back when we get the Italiano urge!

We have been going to Tuscany for over 10 years and have yet to have a bad experience. Recently we started taking groups of 10 to 20 people from our church. Lou and his staff are always accommodating including handling separate checks. Great place - Great Food and Great service Dr Ron Ramsdell

Wow! I frequent Italian restaurants. This is in my top 3! Start with a nice Mellott, Ferrari Carano. My dish was the Penney w/ Broccoli. An exquisite marina with a zing. Love it! The broccoli is cooked perfectly and not mushy. Service was attentive bit not over bearing.

This seems like a senior restaurant to me. I enjoy coming here early which is probably why I see all the retirees. The fish dishes are always a good choice here. I like the bread they serve too. Good service. Good food. Pretty dining room with plenty of booths.

Service good, food good. Wedge salad is normally a wedge of head lettuce topped with bacon bits, tomato and blue cheese. Not here it is a wedge if lettuce with dresding. Really! Someone needs to explain to management what a wedge salad contains.

I have been to Hanks twice, once on New Years eve, with my son and his GF, and again, a few months ago with a friend. The service was excellent (both times). The meal was excellent, from the martinis to the entrée.

The food and service here are wonderful. Best Italian food we have had in the area. The booths are a bit small for larger folk- I would recommend a table with chairs for people with long legs.

Excellent Italian food here. I ordered the pasta primavera and it was delicious. There is something about the sauce they use that makes it unique from any other pasta primavera Ive ever had.
