Man this place is amazing. Havent got our food yet and we are already in love! Owners came over to say hi since we are first timers, good music playing, friendly atmosphere. Laid back chill environment. We asked about places to visit and he stepped away to call someone to tell us all the great places to go. We will probably be back tomorrow to, the menu is so big i didnt know what to choose, i havent had southern food like this since moving from Memphis to Kansas.

OMG. The food is awesome and my waitress customer service was beyond excellent. I decided to take my Mother to breakfast and this is where she wanted to go. I was not disappointed, we had shrimp and grits with eggs and homemade biscuits. The lemonade was also homemade and tasted so sweet. The prices are reasonable and we had a short wait. I definitely will be returning.

Ive had various burgers and sandwiches here, the Blacklisted is my favorite, in case youre wondering. At times the wait can be a little long, but not longer than most places of this type. Ive yet to be disappointed by the food here, as a matter of fact, the only thing thats ever disappointed me was the time showed up and they were closed.

If you want to feel at home while you eat food like it was made at home. This is the place. Everyone eats here, the post man, firefighters, police men, and the locals. The food is fabulous. Every time I visit Miami Im here. Been coming for 11 years. Pork chops, eggs & grits is my favorite. But everything taste so good.

It took the waitress 10 mintues to address us another 5 mintues to find out what we wanted to drink anther 10 mintues to take our order. Then it took anther 10 mintues for the food to arrive at our table. If that wasnt enough a fly was in my food. Yes a fly! WTH.....I WONT GO BACK

Of course this place deserves a good star review. Im addicted to this place. The food is great .. Chicken waffles greens and Mac and cheese, sometimes when I get greedy Ill add cornbread to the order. Place is super filling and delightful.MLK Restaurant is best.

Five star taste on the fish n grits and the service they gave my family. Restaurant was close but because my family came from Chicago and was going back in the am they opened up and made us five orders of fish n grits. KUDOS to the owners and staff.

They have Poor customer service.I Called in and still waited a hour for my food. The workers were arguing amongst each other. There was no place to sit and wait for the food. It was just a wreck........The Food was great though

best fish and grits in Miami! service may be a little slow and servers may have a typical Miami attitude, but overall, the atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly, warm, and welcoming.
