Pretty bad. Not only does this food not taste good but there is something off about it. The lo mein was chalky tasting and lacked flavor. The fried rice lacked flavor and tasted like plastic. The egg roll was overcooked and understuffed. And, I did not receive any utensils or napkins with delivery making it difficult to eat at work. I couldnt eat my soup. Which I found out later was a good thing as the soup was terrible too. I threw away the shrimp lo mein because it was so bad. I have never done that before! I had an upset stomach shortly after eating. Wont be ordering from them again.

The food was incredible- I had the Szechwan Bean Curd and loved the ratio of vegetables to protein. The sauce was a wonderful addition. It had just the right amount of heat. I placed an online order and the food was ready about 15 minutes afterward. I ended up waiting in the restaurant about 4 minutes- no complaints about the speed. The only negative about the place is its location. Its a little off the beaten path and a little hard to find. Its worth the effort of GPSing for, though!

i like that i could call in and in 10 mins. my food is done and im on my way back home. the only negative thing is, the food was very bland, not flavorful like some other chinese restaurants ive been at. My favorite is Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Fairview,NC. Tried this restaurant, China Taste in West Asheville cause its close to my home.....jaX

I abandoned my usual neighborhood Chinese and headed over to China Taste because of the reviews. Unfortunately, its just the same mediocre Chinese that the rest of the town has. I have yet to find a consistent and above "lets call it decent" Chinese in Asheville yet.

Not my nosh. They couldnt accommodate some dishes to make it vegan. I know, I know. But I found a hair. I know, I know. Just not my choice for Chinese. Id go straight across town before eating here again. VERDICT IS ONE STAR.

IMO the best take out Chinese place in Asheville. Super friendly folks. Quick pick up, they also do delivery. Excellent vegetarian options. Great cold noodle appetizer, tofu dinners, hot and sour soup.
