Best oriental food in Burley, Idaho! Ann (owner/waitress) has such an amazing memory! I asked her once if I had ever eaten a specific item from the menu and she said, "Yes, about five years ago but you didnt care for it." Sonny (her husband) is quite friendly and often goes out of his way to greet you. There are really only two negatives to say about the business. One: If you visit them from between 12 noon and 1 p.m. on weekdays or 5 p.m. and 7 p.m on weekends make sure you have at least an hour to eat; since they get very busy and you may end up waiting 40 minutes to get served. Two: Their prices have gone up quite a bit over the past five years. So much so, that they are no longer competitive with the other oriental restaurants in the area. For example, a single dinner serving of Beef Pan Fried noodles costs $11.95 and thats all you get. For that same price, you can eat all you want at the Canton Buffet, which includes crab legs and clams.

This was the worst Asian food we have ever had. The vegetables (broccoli, carrots, one snow pea - one!)in the dishes tasted odd, not fresh. The sauces tasted like too much ketchup in the sweet and sour and the brown sauce was just gross. If it was just pork gravy it would be better. I couldnt eat the vegetables. The fried rice was okay but it was white. When it is fried it turns brown. Whats up with that? They charge for tea. Its only a dollar and you might think I am petty but its ONE teabag in the whole pot. Come on. It was dreadful. And then the guy tried to overcharge us $10 on the dinner. We were the only ones in the place until the last 5 min we were there. And there were 3 items on the bill thanks, to the tea. He apologized. No excuse.

How do you run out of product on a weekday in the middle of the day? I havent even lived here for a week and after I order my food the server/cashier/greeter etc informs me theyre out of noodles. It was like 1:45 pm. I read all the wonderful reviews on Facebook, here at Google etc & I was looking forward to a great experience left only with disappointment. I worked for a long time in the food service industry. What do you do when you run out of product in the middle of the day? YOU GO BUY SOME MORE. What a joke.

Not enough employees the wait time on ur order is anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Cant call to place an order phone has a busy signal. While waiting for my order which was an hour 5 others came in that had tried to call to place a carry out order. They also stated their phone system was busy. I ended up waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for the order I placed, causing me to miss an appointment that I had and my fiancé to be mad at me for waiting that long..

Personally, this is my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Burley. I generally get the family combination dinner B that has HUGE deep friend shrimp, Mandarin chicken, fried rice, pork and seeds, and I think Chicken Almond Ding. I have had visits be less delicious than others. So sadly, there is some variability in food quality from time to time. However, for the most part Ive had very positive experiences.

Awful, awful, awful. The vegetables and chicken look and taste like they came fresh from the freezer food section of the supermarket, finely prepared in Shon Hings state-of-the-art microwave. When they brought my food out my heart dropped like a senators when hes brought in for corruption. Oddly, hes likely to be eating better food in the state penitentiary than what Shon serves.

This is the worst place in the world. My taste buds are still depressed after having had the unfortune of eating there. They drink themselves blackout drunk every night trying to forget that experience. If you really need an awful meal, warm up some turpentine and throw a carrot in the pot and save yourself from this place.

Best Chinese in the whole area! Anns memory is even better than her food! :) if youre in a hurry, Id recommend calling your order in ahead. I usually just do carry out, but dining in (especially for dinner) can be a lengthy experience.

Been waiting 30 minutes and counting and no sign of our food yet. Lots of customers also waiting for their food. I dont care how good the food is, we are never coming back here again. The service is just too painfully slow.

Best Chinese food in town by far. The owner has an amazing memory that needs to be witnessed to be believed. Be prepared to wait though. Its best to set aside an hour at least to ensure you arent in a rush.

I love this place. Definitely a once-a-monther on my list. The best is the sweet and sour sauce. Also, the head waitress has a photographic memory. Doesnt write anything down and remembers your past orders.

Excellent Cantonese foods prepared very well by the family owned establishment. They are very nice people that treat even strangers like family. The place to go if you like Cantonese foods.

Good food but service was really slow and waitress wasnt very accommodating to our group of 7. Our seating situation was awful. Id recommend Canton for larger groups.

The food is very good and the waitress who is also the owner will remember you forever. Do not go there between 430-530 unless you do not mind a long wait.

They have really good menu options. And if you ask the cook to make it a certain way he will do it.
