We stopped in to try for the first time one evening. All we wanted were two club sandwiches (the same) and French fries instead of the chips. Kid at register who took our order could not answer simple questions, such as could we swap out the type of bread and what kind of ham they used. THEN he proceeds to tell us our total was $33 and change. For two club sandwiches with fries and NO drinks!!! He charged us full price for both sides of fries even though we explained it should just be a substitute upcharge since we did not want the chips. He seemed thoroughly lost at this concept and said computer only let him do it one way.... What a joke, walked out and went to Jersey Mikes

I ordered the number one specialty sandwich named Cyrano de Bergerac, grilled with corned beef, pastrami, Swiss, coleslaw and Russian dressing. Delicious, served with chips and a pickle, I only ate half because it was so big and Im a big guy who rarely leaves anything. Took home some sweets: The almond scone, although unauthentically filled with almond paste, was delicious, the chocolate baba (spelling) was also delicious, the large and pretty layer cakes were all show and no go, seemingly premade and not to the level of the rest of the food that I had enjoyed. I would definitely go back and recommend Woodside Deli.

Customer service was great we grabbed to go. However, once home my wife had the unfortunate bland sausage omelette, this was at 6pm and her toast was soggy. My "Salisbury steak" was nothing more than just a literal 1/2 lb. Of cooked ground beef smothered in bland beef gravy accompanied with unseasoned mashed potatoes and steamed, boring string beans. From what I hear breakfast during breakfast hours is good, and lunch sandwiches are amazing... if I come back... IF, it would be to try their lunch. Never getting dinner or off hour breakfast again.

Prior to ordering pancakes, I asked my server how big the pancakes were and she used her hands to show me the size. Judging from her hands, I placed two orders of pancakes (6 total) because I didnt think I would get full off of 3 pancakes (the size of one order). When the pancakes came out, they were so much bigger than I expected so I assumed 3 pancakes would be enough and she wouldnt take back the extra 3 pancakes. That is not fair. Smh.

Bought a Large Chicken Noodle soup last week. It was horrible, it was greasy, barely any chicken or noodles. Instead it had about a pound of carrots mostly and what looked like clumps of chicken bouillon on the bottom. Only went there because the Giant next door did not have chicken noodle soup that day, otherwise, prefer theirs or safeways anyday.

Sure I have breakfasted here a dozen times in the last couple years. Definitely way above average. Large portion on my home fries, decent bacon or corned beef hash, get the eggs over easy right, and I really like that the plate includes a for-real bagel... toasted with real butter for my likes! Gets busy on the weekends, a rightly popular spot.

Crowded, between the after church crowd, and the before soccer crowd. Had to wait a couple of minutes to get seated, but it was worth it. Staff is on top of the crowd, getting you in, seated, served, and out the door again. Extensive menu, too many choices. Large portions, good stuff.

Went there once. Is one of the few places in Germantown that serves a good breakfast. Service was also good. The negatives: Their home fires are over seasoned and the price for breakfast was high. Thirty dollars for just 2 adults and a 2 yr old.

This place gave me the worst service Ive ever experienced. The waiter took everyones order, but ours, even people who came after us. Thanks to Erin, who was serving another section we were finally able to be served. Worst Restaurant Ever!!

my partner is from the east coast and loves their sandwiches. Im from the west coast and dont go crazy for them, but if I gave this less than 5 stars hes have a fit! Service is very friendly, place was clean.

This is a big guy saying that the portions here are more than your average chain restaurant. Loved it. I had the buttermilk pancakes and almost couldnt finish. (But I did because they tasted so good)

Extensive menu of comfort food. Soup was hearty, fries werent greasy, gyro was gigantic and shrimp salad was excellent. Homey diner atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Service is slow but friendly, food is always good, but maybe not as great as some of their other locations. Carry out matzo ball soup is the best when your feeling sick.
