We are new to Liberty and We typically love TR but this was our first and probably last visit to the Liberty TR. We knew we would have to wait being as its a Sat night so we did the call ahead, they said 8pm, ok so we arrived at 7:45 check in and they hostess says it would be 10-15 mins. No prob we head outside to sit and wait. 8:20 rolls around and my husband decides to go ask the hostess why so long... We realize its busy but why tell us 10-15. She tells my husband they didnt register the pager but will clean off the next table and it will be ours. Nope watch 2 more families get seated so I ask. This hostess tells me they paged us but we didnt respond. What!?!?!? Ok so they finally seat us and 4 out of the 5 bread plates had food on them...gross, oh and we had to wait for the rolls because they were out at the moment, of course. Im not even hungry at this point so I didnt order any food. The rest of the family did and nothing to rave about, steak wasnt cooked as ordered, burger was charred and all else just blah. And did I mention our first waitress pawned us off on someone else after I complained about the plates. Really, what a terrible waitress, I wouldnt reflect her tip for the poor service from the hostess! Now our waitress did fine nothing to complain about there. Yes after all was said and done my husband spoke with the manager who was super apologetic and offered 10% off the meal. We didnt accept that offer, we didnt come in for a discount we came in to enjoy a nice meal with the family. Instead we all left disappointed and in bad moods.....

This Texas Roadhouse needs to be shut down by the Center for Disease Control. I love the chain, but this one in particular is beyond disgusting. I have pointed the problems out to the manager multiple times, even "toured" the problem areas to physically point out the issues. My son drags me back on occassion and each time, Im disappointed to see the issues have only worsened. The terrible odor of sewer gas, old grease and decomposition (mice?) may not immediately be noticed by most, but after reading this, try not to notice. Also tried to have a frank coversation with "Michelle" who wore a management nametag. She was rude and seemed not to care, running off to join the line dance. Food was decent, though I couldnt get over the smell and calculating just how much grime and nasty, vile kitchen residue was lingering on my chicken, which turned out to be undercooked. Bottom line is this establishment is NOT clean enough to prepare food for human consumption. The staff, made up largely of high school or barely college kids, does not care and seems to only be looking forward to quitting time. Dont blame these kids, look to our local Health Inspector and ask why these blatant violations are allowed to continue.

Ive eaten at the Texas Roadhouse in Liberty MO multiple times since it opened and its always been a great experience. The food is excellent and well prepared and the service is always personable and prompt. I must disagree with other comments made that the establishment is dirty or unclean-there is no inoffensive odor in the least and its very clean. They do serve peanuts in the shell and allow you to drop the shells on the floor (they also provide small buckets to put your shells in) but that isnt a health violation. The wait staff is mostly young but then so is the staff in every restaurant Ive eaten at but they are attentive and polite. And management is always on the floor, interacting with the customers, ensuring that everything is to our liking and they are professional and polite. Theyve even comped appetizers for our table when they wait was especially long due to a big crowd or our needing a large table for our extended family (no fault of theirs at all) or for a special occasion like an anniversary or birthday. This is a great place to eat and its reasonably priced. Ive eaten there many times and will continue to go back in the future.

I love the food here, it is amazing. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because our waiter was a total bummer. My husband and kids brought me here on my birthday. As we walked in there were a few tables with birthdays and the staff was singing and my kids were super excited. My husband told the waiter that it was my birthday, and his reply was just "ok". At the end of the meal we asked him to take a picture of us and my husband reminded him it was my birthday. All we got was the check, nothing else. I didnt care, but my kids were upset and asked why they didnt sing to me for my birthday. I think my husband was a little upset too.

I usually dont eat at this one but met family here. I will stick with the Blue Springs location. The rolls were hard and not warm at all. My grandaughters steak she managed 3 bites snd the rest was fat and gristle, when we showed the waiter he just shook his head and said oh , I hate it when that happens. THATS IT, then walked away. I sat there trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. After we had paid for the meal, the manager comes by and asked if everything was ok we pointed at the plate of fat and gristle and he said oh no, well he took that off the bill right? Ummm NO and he says sorry I didnt know. Thats it!!

I live here in Liberty and been visiting this TR ever since it opened. As with every restaurant, you will have good days and not so good days but, every single one of the staff here, especially the management, will make your meal right if something was wrong. Most people have nothing better to do than complain about the food in restaurants, like my brother. If you think its that bad, be a known food critic and people will listen. An update, 7/16/16. The Chicken Critters size has been reduced drastically. They went from large to very small here. My wife wont order and mostly doesnt want to come here any more.

My family enjoyed the food but I did not. The green beans were soggy, and gross. I ordered the pulled pork meal. The meat was tough and dry, so much so that I had to ask for bbq sauce (which took its time getting to me) and wrapped about 85% of the meat in a to go box for my husband. The baked potato was very good and the basket of bread on the table was delicious as was the butter mixture that went along with it. I put all the bread in a to go box to get my moneys worth and make up for my disgusting dinner. But again, my family enjoyed their food, I am the only one with a complaint.

Our experience here was very disappointing. For the amount that we paid we had terrible service from our waitress Sonya. We were very excited to visit considering it was my mothers birthday, and now i regret wasting my money here. We asked for medium well steak, and instead got a rare steak. When we had told her that she got one of the drinks wrong, she had a very rude attitude the rest of the night. They forgot to give us our appetizers. So we went about 35-40 minutes without any food. Very disappointing. My family will not be making anymore visits to this location.
