My experience wasnt great. We didnt know you needed to call ahead to order and we didnt want to wait 20 minutes for them to prepare the chicken, so we ordered a chicken salad and a BBQ sandwich and a side of cornbread. The portions were decent sized and there was some decent flavor to the chicken but it was overcooked and dry. The salad part of the chicken salad was OK, nothing special and I was looking forward to the chicken part, but they were quite chewy / overcooked. The cornbread was OK. Ive had better, Ive had worse. So, three stars for the food, docking one star because the manager (owner?) lost his cool when an employee did some extra work without being asked and spent five minutes yelling at him and saying how he wasnt going to pay him for working on tasks that he wasnt asked to work on. . Not a great experience as a customer.

I was in the process of making a delivery order for approximately $50. When I stated that I was going to use the coupon on my mobile device from their website I was told it could not be used for a delivery order. Staff should know their policy. Coupon does not read as such. It states to mention coupon at time of ordering. Nothing about an exclusion for delivery. When I tried to explain that over the phone, the gentleman was rude and not listening. End result I cancelled order entirely. It may be nothing to them but customer satisfaction should count for something.

Friendly counter guy, moderate speed of service. The chicken wings are the only thing Ive ever gotten from here (Im a big Wing nut) and they were superb my first few times but have degraded slightly in quality over the years. They now have that "reheated" quality about them (dried out slightly/a bit oily). Still an excellent place and all the other food looks good. The extra hottest isnt that hot so if you love *HOT* wings, make sure this is the one you order and you might still be disappointed.

I was just about to go Vegan, then I stumbled upon this place. A real old school chicken place. True Americana. Comfort food that hits the spot. Cooked fresh. If there were a Popeyes right next door...uh um, you know what, I can not tell a lie, I would still go to Popeyes but Chicken Galore I highly recommend. I am really surprised this place is still in business, Woodbridge is the perfect "Mayberry" town for it to have thrived here for 50 years. Places like this dont exist anymore.

Great fried chicken that has a unique taste that I never tasted before. Prices are competitive and they always have coupons. I usually get the dark meat special fried chicken. But, i am a little upset with the last experience I had there: they refused to honor my $1 off purchase over $10 coupon. My order was around $12 but the guy said it was a discounted price already? I paid menu price for it? So yeah. Anyway, good chicken!

I know its deep fried, but ITS SO GOOD! I grew up with Chicken Galore in Kearny NJ. I was amazed there was one here in Woodbridge! When ever you are in the mood for some good fried Chicken this is the place to get it! and the staff is very down to earth and great! Even when its crazy busy in there, the person at the counter or on the phone taking your order is always professional, friendly and quick!

i like this place. its an old fashioned pizza place. and i really mean old school, no display case with chicken-ziti slices, no vegetable pizzas, etc. just a regular pie and a sicilian pie.... and both are good. parking on horace harding isnt worth it, just park around the corner and walk. i dont think they take cc, but a slice and drink is only like 3 or 4 bucks.

Used to love galore... Chicken hasnt been so great... Too expensive... They messed up completely on my order a few days ago... Wrong smaller sizes when i paid for large sizes... Didnt bring plates like i asked... Food was cold... Delivery driver rang the door bell when we specifically told them to call when theyre outside...

5 stars because the fried chicken is the best fried chicken you will ever eat. however, be aware that their side dishes are pretty much all inedible. Just disgusting. But thats okay for me. I just buy a bunch of fried chicken and make sides at home.

Words cannot describe how great the chicken is. I prefer to order ahead of time since they cook to order. The food is never sitting so, if you wait until you get there to order, you may have to wait a bit.
