I give this establishment negative stars , horrible customer service that resulted in me the consumer calling the police on the manager on duty. After getting home unpacking my meal I discovered the food had been sitting for several hours, the chicken I order was so rubbery I could not break the food down by chewing it, my rice was soft on the outside but crunchy on the inside ( due to being under cooked) I decided to take the food back, however I ate my crabragoon. I spoke with the guy I order the food from and informed him there was a problem with the chicken. I went on to explain the chicken was rubbery, the rice was under cooked. This man immediately had an attitude and told me no refunds!!! I informed him that I would have asked for them to remake my food, however at this point I did not trust him to do so, I informed him if his approach was different I would have asked for it to be re made. I then requested a refund, he called for the manager, before I could speak he began in an irrate rant tellin me he will give me 2 dollars but I ate half of my meal. After some point I was givin a second to explain what was wrong with the food. He again said I will give u You 2 dollars and you can leave. Because I was so upset I sat for a second and said just give me the 2 dollars. As he gets the money out of the drawer he began to call me out of my name using profanity. So I tried to search for my phone to record his actions. He quickly tossed me the 2.00 dollars. Gave me the finger using both hands and told me to leave. In disbelief I rolled up my window and completed the search for my phone which took less than a minute he began to beat on my window scratching my car as I was about to leave, so I informed him I am calling the police for the beating he gave my car. He comes running out of the building blocking me from leaving continues to yell and use profanity approaches my window , again yelling at me and using the profanity. As he walked pass my car he kicked and scratched my vehicle ( no marks left) I finally pulled out of the drive thru and called the grandview police to help me inspect my car for damages. No damages found so no charges could be pressed. The entire time I maintained myself and never raised a voice or a hand. Im used to seeing customers flying off the handle, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a "manager" would treat me this way. This establishment has absolutely no customer service skills. And the manager needs to be fired!!!!

If I could give a zero rating I would but one was the best option or lowest offer to give them for ratings. Do not take your family here. warning you will immediately start feeling sick. What ever you take a bite of you will instantly start regurgitating. Then when you ask for a refund or a fresh meal they tell you know you that you have to deal with it. We just came through the drive-through not even 20 minutes ago and they just opened up at 11 in their food was already cold and nasty. I wish everyone around town would work really hard to try to get the health department to do something about this business. Who knows if theyre even serving real meat. Dont waste your time at all the meat crumbles in your mouth making it extremely hard to chew so the best option is to just spit it out. That is a darn shame I had to take Pepcid just to ease my stomach after eating their food. Not mention I was not even close to sick before I went there. Please help everyone they need to be shutdown for horrible food and horrible service. When a business has duct tap on the drive thru window holding up the main window. Then that should have been a sign to us to drive off then.

I live in Grandview with my sister and was craving Chinese food. The New Taiwan place is ultimately where I wanted to go since I know it is VERY good food. My sister talked me into going to Grandview Buffet instead since she wanted a buffet to go. Reluctantly I agreed. Once we got there, my sister asked for her buffet to go and they handed her a to go box that was very tiny. It was smaller than during her previous trip there. (Granted, I know there are some who take advantage of the situation but this was ridiculous). My sister also asked for sweet and sour sauce and they handed her one little container and acted put out just for asking in the first place. I decided against the to go buffet since it was 10 dollars and since the box was so small. I decided to order Chicken and Broccoli with fried rice w/o onions. (Cost extra to order with no onions, for "special order") The food was average at best and my chicken and broccoli was majority broccoli. My sister and I decided we probably wont go again... New Taiwan would have been better service and probably better cost too.

Good staff but food was lacking in flavor. Most of which was bland. I went there with 3 of my co workers and we go up to get soup and normally the buffets we go to have at least 4 soup to choose from but here you only had egg drop and hot and sour. I ask about wonton soup and they said it has to be ordered in order to get it. OK so I skipped the soup with one of my co workers and we went straight for the normal food. Every single one of my co workers said the food was lacking in taste. Most of which was bland. When I got my tea at the beginning I thought the would of brought out some hot tea but apparently if you dont say you want hot tea then they bring out iced. It was around 40° that day. The worst part is when I started drinking the tea, it was unsweetened so I sweetened it and no matter how much I sweetened it, it was still unsweetened. I am never going back there ever again. I would give 0/5 stars

I absolutely will not be returning to this restaurant. Tonight an older gentlemen and three younger children were enjoying their meal at a booth next us. It came to our attention the eldest child had a mental disorder and was making incoherent noises that he could not control at a high volume. We did not bother us nor the other customers ,until, a couple was seated in close proximity and asked to be reseated because of the "Noise" . To make matters worse the owner came up the older gentlemen can asked him to make his child be quiet or else he would be forced to leave the restaurant. I am applauded and extremely sadden. This older gentlemen was trying to enjoy a normal meal, but that was not possible because people cant seem to be compassionate. My only regret was A) not defending him and B) not paying for his meal, and for that I am sorry.

Literally one of the worst Chinese places I have ever been to. Two of my friends and I attended after a volunteer shift nearby and when we walked in there was very good, friendly service and we were seated and got our drinks immediately. however, when we got up to get food, we quickly realized our mistake. None of the food was remotely fresh or tasty and the majority of it looked and tasted several hours old. my friends both went home and were sick, but as I have an iron stomach, I felt fine. Mind you, I also avoided most of the food and simply ate the most mediocre orange chicken and fried rice Ive ever had. Avoid the sushi at all costs and avoid the restaurant if you value digestive comfort.
