My husband and I frequent here at least once a week. The best sushi around... especially for the price! Mexican rolls are always great, and so are the spicy salmon/tuna rolls. For people who cant tolerate spice, the Eastern Maki is a nice alternative to the Mexican roll. I cant say anything about their warm entrees since I cook Chinese/Japanese food at home and cant be bothered with the price difference of eating out. The couple who runs the joint always greet us enthusiastically and remember to bring us regular soy sauce to replace the gross low sodium stuff. Its Yamasa, too, instead of the discount Kikkoman brand. It makes a huge difference, and the fact that even Tsunami doesnt carry Yamasa is one of the big reasons why Wild Ginger became our go-to spot for sushi.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst service ever! Our waiter barely knew anything about the menu items, never checked on us once. We had to ask for water refills and when he brought it, the water was warm room-temperature. It took almost an hour to get our food, which is ridiculous, considering they were rice dishes. The restaurant was so hot probably because their AC was not working. Also, there was literally no one in the restaurant. I dont know how they are still in business, but I do not think Ill be returning here.

I have been eating sushi for over 15 years in central Florida..so I came to Sarasota and then found Wild Ginger..my god..the best sushi in the entire Florida.Most original sushi roll and the taste... WOW..mind blowing!..the service is outstanding..family friendly..almost felt like I knew the staff for years and it was my first time dining in.Bottom line..others restaurants need to take notes..overall experience is outstanding at the Wild Ginger

Wonderful service. They made us feel extremely welcome! Great food. Salad was fresh and tasty. The daily special of Szechuan Dumplings was excellent, scrumptious! (We ordered a second one) The harumaki very good fresh crispy just like we would expect it to be! Everything was perfect! And even reasonably priced. Visit this place and enjoy!

We ordered Wild Ginger today for the office and it was great! We got the bento box, maki lunch combo, and the pineapple fried rice (which seems to have a hit of curry). Overall we were very happy with our food and the service was very friendly! They even delivered to our very nearby location.

First time having Malaysian Curry and it was pretty good. There were licorice pods in the broth that I sometimes didnt see and would accidentally chew, but that aside, I liked the flavors. Staff was nice and the dumpling appetizer I had was very flavorful.

This is easily some of the best sushi I have ever had. The service is great (it was a Sunday night so it was rather slow), the fish is super fresh and very flavorful. The clear soup is tasty, and the lobster roll is absolutely AMAZING. You have to try it.
