When this place opened it was great.excellent beans and cheesy corn but those were made too spicy shortly thereafter. The place was a dirty dump its been sold and cleaned up but now its gone way down hill. Meats dried out and no longer fork tender. And its a shame it was the best brisket Ive ever eaten. Last night my Daughter wanted just meat so we ordered half a pound. Long wait focus over 25 minutes with the place full of people all waiting for food short on staff with signs on the doors for help. Daughter said her meat was very dried out. For almost $9 thats terrible. I hope they can get back to where they used to be but I highly doubt it..

A few days ago I smelled BBQ while driving, found Little Pig BBQ and knew I had to try it. Did today and it was great. I had the Carolina and it was perfect, tart slaw and awesome sauce. My 12 year old daughter had the pulled pork (she didnt have her first bit chewed all the way and her eyes were rolling into her head) and my 9 year old had the cheeseburger. Said it was the best shed ever had. Prices are very reasonable, taste is phenomenal, and the service was great. This is our new fave, MUCH better than Odens in town AND big named places in the Metro, glad I dont have to drive for BBQ anymore.

VERY disappointed! All the Meat was over cooked. They were Out of two normal menu items, burnt ends and fried pickles, at 6:15 pm Saturday. They were out of batter for the pickles? Brisket had no flavor and was so dry. Pulled pork was the same. I ordered the big combo platter. Ribs were way over done. Cole slaw was over dressed and poorly seasoned. I can not imagine how they hope to complete in KC with BBQ unless they change drastically.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Food was great, ribs were tender and had great rub and smoked flavor. Brisket was awesome, very moist with great smoke flavor. Pulled pork was good as well, and the spicy BBQ sauce was tasty and actually spicy. Its not a fancy place but most of the time thats where you find the best food. We will definitely be back again.

I liked the pulled pork, burt ends, beans and fresh cut fries. The pork ribs fell off the bone and were juicy but may have been a little strong with rub. The standard sauce was not my favorite but the spicy sauce was great. Cheesy corn is good for a change but not a creamy as Jack Stack. Staff was friendly, clean restroom. I sorta wish the kitchen was separated more from the dining. Id go back.

Its a little pricey, but the ribs are excellent and I enjoyed the brisket. The burnt ends Im not as big a fan of, but the fries are the way they were meant to be - good sized and fresh cut (or at least they look and taste like they were). The sauces arent anything to write home about, though, and thats rough for a BBQ joint. But all the meats were perfectly tender so only one star disappears.

Friendly staff very nice people easy to find. However I ordered 21 dollars worth of food for me and my coworkers and the only thing good was the fries (which were the best Ive ever had) and the ribs. The onion rings mozzarella sticks and the fried mushrooms were all cold and were not good. I will try one more time but Ill make sure I request freshly fried foods next time.

If I could rate this experience is zero, I would. This was my first experience at Little Pig....and the last. There were so many flies inside of the restaurant...but I thought that if the food was good, maybe it would be a wash. The food tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago. This is not Kansas City style BBQ. Very disappointed.

When they first opened this place it was legit. Now with the original owners gone and the Dahmers in on it its terrible and over priced. That combo sandwich used to be amazing and it now sucks and the French fries were all burnt when they brought it out to me on my paper plate....yes a paper plate. Sad.

I found this great little BBQ joint by accident. I stopped and had a wonderful smoked turkey sandwich with onion rings. I must say I am a BBQ caterer myself and must give these guys props...best danm BBQ Ive had in forever!!!! Real smoke flavor cooked on a real wood burning pit. OUTSTANDING!!!,

Best burnt ends I have ever had, and I have had burnt ends just about everywhere. Sometimes they are sold out of them and I try something new...never been disappointed. The beans are some of the best Ive had as well, and the spicy bbq sauce is really good as well.

Eat there all the time but notice they were getting slim on sandwich with meat but last time hot ribs and they were cold and had a lot of fat and fries were not as good as in the past. Price was way higher. Wont spend my time in going back

Even though they run out of quite a few items, brisket and pork are exceptional, and beans are great. One negative aspect for me personally is coleslaw. I love good coleslaw, but the portion Ive got was drowning in mayo.

It was my children and I first time trying little pig and I must say it was delicious... Real cute small place with a great menu and great portions of meat for a reasonable price... We will most definitely be back again

The Little Pig bbq has fantastic food!! Our family loves the ribs! Catering is a specialty and prices are amazing! Always fresh and Nathan is one of the top restaurant owners in Kansas City. 5 star spectacular! !

The worst Bar-BQ... Meat was cold. Tiny portions, out of mushrooms, out of poopers, out of burnt ends, french fries not fully cooked and to top it off they forgot our ribs that was to accompany our meals.

Great BBQ - a real hidden gem. Their burnt ends are the best in town IMHO. I always call ahead to be sure they have ribs and burnt ends available... sometimes they are sold out.

The service is top of the line I cant stand Jack stacks or gates, since they have gotten bigger they have lost what they once were, I just hope that you dont lose the meaning.
