I have never been motivated to write a review good or bad on Google (or Yelp) until tonight. This is my first review. Sorry to have to say this, but this was absolutely the worst food Ive ever had. It arrived super late and cold. The teriyaki beef was tough and had no flavor... zero, none, zip, not even a pinch of teriyaki sauce. It was simply sliced beef in broth and utterly tasteless... even after 4 packets of soy sauce. Nothing remotely ethnic about this food. The tempura was old, charred and soggy... and smashed into a dish. The brown rice was horribly boiled. I dont live in this area - visiting - but I would not recommend this food to anyone for any reason, no matter how hungry. Perhaps it is because its delivery, I dont know. I also didnt realize they automatically put on a 5 dollar tip and I gave the nice delivery person a 7 dollar tip - it was cold, didnt want him to wait providing change. I should have noted the temperature of the bag. Total waste of money and time. Im having peanut butter and jelly instead. I waited until I was over my anger before writing this.

Ive had numerous poor experiences here, but this one trumps them all. Yesterday I went in with a few of my friends and right before we left one of them went to the restroom. When he came back, the *manager* comes up to him and yells him he didnt flush (which he swears he did). Either way, that was one of the rudest things Ive ever witnessed a restaurant employee do. And having worked in the food industry, I know thats something you just dont do. So, I went up and found the manager myself and told him just how rude it was and he *argued* with me!! Even if my friend did not flush, what does it matter? It is the restaurants job to keep their facilities clean. Not their customers. But since my friend actually *did* flush, the man had no right to be coming up to him and saying such things anyway. But they can be assured that none of us will be returning.

I usually dont do restaurant reviews, but, after reading all these "best sushi" comments, feel an obligation of sort. The service was good and thats pretty much the end of the positive side. The sushi at Fume were probably the worst sushi Ive ever had in my life (including supermarket sushi). They were simply bordering going bad. The seaweed salad, shumai, etc were subpar. I LOVE this place. I wish I lived closer. I love the variety. I often order Japanese and my husband Chinese. I havent had a bad meal. When we do go for a sit down dinner the staff is nice. The atmosphere is nice. We liked their dumplings, wonton soup, miso soup, sushi rolls, Sesame chicken combo, fried vegetable rice, I get a chicken teriyaki bento or meal. I like their Tempura. Scallion pancakes are good. If I had to pick my absolute favorite it would be the dumplings and wontons. Weve been known to order from here a few times a week at times.

Since discovering Fan Bistro rather late in the day I have to admit it has rapidly become one of my go to places. Their sushi selection is fantastic, and with their discounted prices the quality is unbelievable. I cant personally speak for anything here that is not sushi, but my family have all really enjoyed everything that has come from the kitchen (that includes my son who thinks pizza is the height of sophistication). If you want a relaxed Asian meal, then this is certainly the place to go to.

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. We called and ordered OVER THE PHONE and when we showed up to pick up our food, the exact same person we spoke to on the phone, who repeated the entire order back to us and gave us a total and told us it would be ready in 20 minutes claimed that she had no record and no recollection of our order. Absolutely HORRIBLE service, didnt even attempt to rectify the issue.

Not a bad place, but not particularly good at anything either. I cant find anything on their menu I would want to order twice, yet the location is convenient, and you can usually get a table without reservation, and we usually meet up with friends there. Service is spotty: some nights its good, other nights you have to fend for yourself.

Hate this place!!!! My friends and I went here for lunch a few days before Christmas, and half of us got food poisoning. I spent all of Christmas hanging over the toilet vomiting Chicken Lo Mein. Strongly regretting eating here. Bad service, bad food. DO NOT GO HERE! Id give it 0 stars if I could

Not a fan of FAN BISTRO. Could not make myself understood with staff to have a Beef and Scallions. Only menu items are available, perhaps because they are pre-cooked? Overall, the place was too dark and Manager looked unprepared and very very young. I will not return ever.

Best sushi Ive had thus far living in Chatham. They have a huge menu of all different sorts of foods. It was perfect because I can get a ton of sushi and my husband can get sweet and sour chicken or gen tso.
