First, let me say that we are Loop lovers, we go often and enjoy it: good food and terrific staff. We have also had a la carte breakfast there and it was fine. However, weve been to two special occasion brunches and been pretty disappointed both times. First, it is very expensive, although it has come down a little from first time. Second, buffets are difficult to do well but still there are certain things one expects like hot potatoes and sausage links - and maybe some scrambled eggs? Or custom cooked omelettes that are not overdone and somehow greasy tasting. Or carved meat that is not luke warm, overdone and dried out. Finally, and on a positive note, the pastries are to die for! Home made, they are the best I have ever had anywhere, anytime! I doubt I could ever really get my moneys worth from any brunch because I typically only like a few things but if you are going to charge 27 bucks I think you should be hitting on all cylinders. Well definitely go back but I doubt it will be for the buffet brunch. Hang in there, guys, youve got a great restaurant otherwise!

Its a bit of a walk from parking unless you valet. very open bar although there is a DJ and dance floor on Fri and sat. drinks are good, though a little spendy but normal for the area. bartenders friendly but not openly talkative (which is understanding when you are in the process of a rush or closing) lots of room to come and eat, havent ate yet but they look like they know what theyre doing. there is also four single size garage doors that open (weather permitting) that are open with the addition of a patio for drinks and smoking coming summer 2015. sorry for no caps and I have no affiliation withe the loop bar

The Loop bills themselves as a "high-energy full-service restaurant.", and they are exactly that. This is one of our favorite stops in the West End. The Loop has a very vast menu, filled with different items for different tastes. Among my favorites are the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich, The Loop Burger, and the Bourbon Loop Wings. Service here is typically above average and exactly what is needed for the clientele of this location. This location does not have the same "Vibe" as their North Loop location, but depending on your mood, that could be a good thing.

By far the best restaurant in the West End! The restaurant and atmosphere is extremely laid back and comfortable. The Loop offers a wide selection of specialty food and drinks including my personal favorite, the buttermilk chicken sandwich - mouthwatering. I hosted a surprise birthday party at this location, and Brian was extremely helpful throughout the entire event registration process - Perfect space for large groups! The service is usually above average and always consistent. Each visit has been a great visit and we will continue to frequent this location.

The bartender was great, always made sure I had what I needed. The food was ok. I had the juicy loopy. It was a little to rare in the middle for me. "Supposed to be" stuffed with bacon and cheese. I also had the French fries the cook was good but it was like I got the last little bit that was left in the bad I wasnt very happy with them. Id say the best part of the meal was the barbecue sauce I ordered on the side. Wow Id love to get some to go. If I came back here Id definitely order something else and hope for a real portion of fries. This place isnt bad

I had a terrible experience at the Loop,on my gals birthday no less. The service was horrendous, and only got worse as the night continued, highlighted by leaving us high and dry for over 20 minutes after asking my gal if she wanted a birthday desert. We left with no desert, never to return. The food was actually quite good, and fairly priced, but nothing can overcome the ridiculously poor service, worst that I can ever remember. Dont waste your time at this place, not worth the frustration, will undoubtedly be out of business soon.

Brent the bartender is amazing. All the bar staff is great! The *ahem* "DJs" are absolutely atrocious. Ive heard better djs at a Chuckie Cheese. This is unbelievable. Ive been here numerous times and on each occasion the idiot that decides to play music mindlessly flips between old-as-hell Top 40s from 4 or 5 seasons ago. No originality...No creativity....No thought whatsoever. Appalling. A DJ can make or break a place - this place is fantastic.....Aside from the terrible music.

Great food. Great service. Very fast and friendly staff. A couple dollars overpriced for food I think. The atmosphere is very nice. Patio is huge, but if you cant get a spot outside the "garage doors" open up and you pretty much have a seat on the patio if you are just inside it. Gives a nice breeze without being in the sun. The corner area on weekends become a dance floor with a DJ that has a decent turnout.

My boyfriend has been going here for a while, and until I met him I had never heard of it. Now I go here all the time even with out him, and I crave their food. MUST try their sweet potato fries and their mac and cheese pizza. Yummmmm Also, customer service is as good as it gets. Super friendly staff; hosts, servers, and management are what people would refer to as "Minnesota Nice." Cant rave enough :)

We had a birthday party group of about 30 come in on Saturday and we ended up being an hour late as our dinner ran long at the previous spot. Even though the staff had two other large parties going on they were able to accommodate us very quickly and got us seated in no time. Excellent staff - have been great to us every time Ive been there.

Stopped in on a Wednesday after midnight after spending some time at Punch Bowl Social. The place was pretty empty. Unbelievably, I think I couldve set my hair on fire and I still wouldnt have got the bartenders attention. My husband and I waited about 10 minutes at the bar for service. Then finally just walked.....

The Loop; great food and drinks! I love everything Ive tried on the menu. The #2pizza and steak sandwich are my favorites so far. Friends have ordered the steak salad and buffalo chicken salad; each one has loved it (they must, cuz they order it all the time!). Convenient location, fun happy hour and yummy food!

Wasnt bad enough for 2 stars, but just okay. Got the juicy loopy, pretty lame Juicy Lucy. Every juicy lucy ive ever had was better than thos one. Tiny amount of cheese inside. No toppings to speak of on top. Poor value for the $$$ price tag. Of course youre paying for the atmosphere, and not just the food.

Cool bar for those looking for good beer and cocktail selection in West End. Dj plays music after 10pm on weekends so if youre looking to dance its a decent option, but dont go here at that time of you want to have a casual drink and talk cause it gets loud.

Lunch today was spot on! I had the fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries + iced tea. Food was delicious, chicken was to die for, not greasy or fatty at all! Fries were perfect! Id recommend!
