not a fan of this meijer. today I was about 10 feet away from u scan and had some crazy woman (shopper) screaming maam at me to find out if i was in the line. I was 10 feet away looking at something. obviously this woman was on drugs. they have no signs though so maybe she was too dumb to know where the line was. the employees do nothing except hide behind their registers at u scan probably dont want to deal with the koo koo that come in. I also called to talk to pharmacy and they were not interested in helping me at all. they did not understand how to use insurance to pay for the script. the man I spoke to would not say who he was and insisted on calling me maam about 6 or 7 times. He was not able to conduct a business like call because all he wanted to do was call me maam. I told him to stop calling me that or I would report him and he just kept doing it. the shame part of macomb county is that the people her are very hillbilly like and country bumpkins so they do not know how to talk in business fashion. calling someone maam or dear or honey shows non business like verbage. and this person went to college and talks like this. meijer needs to fire people who cant talk business language. meijer is a business, act in professional fashion. october 2016 used u scan. two weeks in a row. the cashiers are very ignorant. one was calling a woman "honey" about 5 times. then one of them was calling a woman maam (screaming it at the top of her lungs). the cashiers are really ignorant. people dont like to be called your labels. this week I went to another store. the cashiers at this place need to shut up. also the nut case pharamacist

Things that I have experienced at this meijer that make me dislike it: - There is only 2 cashier lines open at any time (enjoy waiting if you have a full cart) - Always a line at the Self-check out. A line at self check out eliminates any value that it offers to the customer. Big win for Meijer on that. - I was told "Yall" need to go to the other side for check-out because we are close this side at 11:00PM. This was when I was next in line at the self check out at 10:59PM. - The demographic - I pay for my own groceries but sometimes youll be stuck in 1 of the 2 attended lines behind someone with 2 carts full of groceries. Your day is sure to be ruined when you watch your tax dollars paying for that someones brand named cereal, and pop, and candy. -The demographic - The manners on some of the shoppers at this place is 3rd world. From blocking aisles with their carts, to walking out of aisle just to stop in front of you, you can rest assured that you will never hear an apology or excuse me in this place. - I Once purchased a TV mount. Turns out it was re-shelved after someone returned it and rummaged through everything. 8/11/17 Update: -They have a copy machine sitting behind the customer service desk, but do not make copies. If they dont want to provide the service, thats fine. But how about being curteous to the customer and offer to make copies on the stores internal use copy machine. Customer curtesy obviously not important at this store. Things I like about this Meijer: - I live right by it so it is very convenient to make a quick run

I usually have good experiences at Meijer but on this day between 4 and 5:30 a.m. after working 12 hours I walk into Meijer to pick up a few things Associates on the sales floor away from the registers where very friendly. At the checkout no cashiers so I had to do the self-service which I dont like. The conveyor backed up 2-3 times so stop scanning fix the conveyor while associate Lucy and Ethel (2 Meijer employees) , stand there in the front of the registers talking about whatever it is going on other than this customer that is having an issue with a conveyor backing up . Now that Im done with the transaction its time for me to bag my groceries Im having trouble opening up the thin plastic bags!! Do you think Lucy or Ethel came over to help me open some bags bagged up some of these groceries that I have purchased at their place of employment Hell No!! A handful of customers came through and completed their transaction and the two ladies stopped what they were doing to wish the customers a good day. do you think these two bitties said anything to me when I was done and walking out passing them? HELL NO!! the lack of customer service at 12 Mile and Mound at 5 a.m. was a disgrace but like I said earlier maybe its because I just finished a 12 hour shift and still knew how to be courteous and helpful to the Unworthy.

I went to the customer service desk with the intent of reloading my registered card and purchasing a new one as a gift. Clerk was polite but didnt know what to do, so he left and went to ask for help from another clerk, Jeylin D, who turned out to be a "team leader" Jeylin never approached the desk, but instead yelled from a distance "We dont do it here" I had to walk to where Jeylin was standing as she was not going to come to talk to me. She was rude and unhelpful, so I asked her if I may speak to the general manager. She pointed at the pictures of four people on a wall and said "Pick any one of them" or call the corporate. I called the corporate and was transferred to Tom F (I am withholding both their full last names out of respect for their privacy) Tom F turned out to be another "team leader" and refused to come out of his office to talk to me in person. He just talked to me on the phone and explained that whatever Jeylin is saying is correct. He was polite unlike Jeylin, but made it clear he is not going to go against "another team leader" I resolved the issue by going to Walmart where I realoaded my card and also bought another one as a gift for someone. It appears as this Meijer in Warren has lots of "team leaders", yet no leadership and zero customer service.

ase go to a different meijers as my mother and I will now be doing. Terrible service, lack of employees and unstocked shelves. This meijer for several months now has been unstocked in items that are essential shopping goods for most people such as cereal, oatmeal, juice, waffles, yogurt and the list goes on and on. Theyre unstocked and have been for the last few months. An when they do happen to get a shipment in it seems like its a low amount because its immediately gone and back to unstocked. They are remodeling some of the store when they should be focusing on restocking their shelves. Today I couldnt find where any of my items were because the signs for the isles were changed and blank. Not to mention I Waited in line nearly 45 minutes with two people infront of me because their cashier was painfully slow. He took forever and myself plus everyone behind me were either leaving or ready to jump out of their skin. I even felt the need to warn people that this guy was slow. He was taken from the hardware department and put on cashier. They need more cashiers! Someone who works hardware should be in hardware helping people. They only had 4 other lines open and packed. They shouldnt of taken other people from other areas they shouldve had more cashiers.
