The food tasted good, but my experience with our server was unappetizing. After we had been seated, I saw a server who was coughing into her hands and proceeding to touch menus, water glasses, and plates of fresh food! She really sounded sick. I was not happy to find out that she would be our server. She stood very close to me while talking with us, and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. She also coughed as she spoke without covering her mouth—right over us! As she served our food, I noticed her very dirty fingernails. The whole experience—the coughing, the cigarette smoke smell, and seeing the dirty hands on our plates as she delivered our food—was truly disconcerting. Per my work in the food and hospitality industry, this is unacceptable. Oh! Forgot to mention this: The server who was one section over was offering free wine samples!! Literally, just one table away. We were offered none :( This is not how I imagined our "nice date" would go at Olive Garden. Even though it is a chain, the quality of food and the prices to match warrants higher-quality service. TL;DR Server had some gross habits that ruined my experience. Better management required.

Ok I love olive garden but....!!!!!!! I was there last night with my husband and we both order pasta, with a glass of water and the bill was $38, the lady take my card and charges it, for some odd reason I checked my bank account to make sure she charged the right amount, and to my surprise it says I was charged $46 !! I was like accuse me miss why did you charge me more? She said she didnt so she shows her manager, and the manager said that MY BANK automatically tips them 20%.... That has never happened before. So what I am trying to do here is let you guys know to make sure you save you receipts because what if the service was bad and I left the tip line blank? That means she wouldnt give a damn because she automatically gets a 20% tip! So keep an eye out on your money people!!!

Our meal was good, but we felt rushed along. (And only 1 breadstick per person??) Towards the end of our meal, the waitress never asked if we wanted to order any dessert, even though we did. After she boxed up our food, she must have gone home or something, because she never came back. So we used the kiosk at the table to order the dessert we wanted. We waited and waited... finally one of the other staff members, named Elvaristo, took notice. He assisted us right away (the order had never been put in by our waitress), and he got our dessert boxed up to go. We wished we could have given the tip (which we had already paid) to him instead of our waitress who dropped the ball.

The food was as good as any other Olive Garden but our waitress was brutal... she came across very rudely, I couldnt understand half the things they said... they had some rude replies to my wife when she asked for another soup for me while I was in the washroom with our son... she was slow and didnt follow up or deliver when my wife had asked for hot water, lemon for her water or cheese for my soup... then on my 2nd soup she asks if I wanted cheese on my soup again... I wanted to say yes. .. will you put some on this time... but I played nice... if I go back there it would be for that server... the rest of the staff seemed nice... but our waitress was brutal.

Decent Italian food at a decent price for a nice night out. This location had been around something like 20 years or so and had always provided great service and a clean restaurant. I like the floor layout too, it isnt quite as noisy as others. As someone with food allergies and a parent of a toddler with multiple food allergies, I love Olive Garden for their attention to detail. Their staff is helpful, allergy policies are in place and their online allergy menu is perfect. Google "Olive Garden allergy menu" to find the menu broken down by allergy and another link for their policies.

Was in earlier and il tell you what i never had such bad service any where like i did here noone could get anything right i walk in and the host didnt even great me he twittled his thumbs the other host stared finally im like umm table for 3 he than replies "oh tree? haha" and continued to stand around finally the other host asks how many? I said three finnally get seated. Also waiter took forever to refill drink and messed up my daughters order and my order now im stuck waiting longer i spent over n hour n half in this place when i planned for 45 minutes now il never come back

I went here with my mother. Ordered the braised short ribs that took 45 minutes to arrive because they "ran out of rissoto." Rice takes twenty minutes to make... Please. By the time my steak arrived, the waitresses had cleared all my silverware. I asked for a fork when the meal arrived, which took another 5 minutes because Amber, our waitresses, forgot about it. The manger (young guy in his twenties) compd $13.40, even though I think he should have compd the entire plate. I will not be going to Olive Garden again. Lousy service, lousy kitchen.

Why do you hate pasta sauce, Olive Garden? I mean, I know youre mostly into olives, but dont knock the pasta sauce. The noodles taste much better with it. In all seriousness, good flavor to the food and good service, but the amount of pasta sauce served with the pasta is really low. A catered spaghetti dish mostly looked like red-tinged noodles, and the never-ending pasta bowl ordered by someone at my table at a recent visit was a sea of noodles with a small scoop of sauce in the middle.

Olive Garden in Bloomington MN has catered many big events for our business. They not only meet but exceed our expectations every single time. Today was the same great experience. Everything is perfectly accounted for, the staff is fantastic, the food is delicious. We have counted on Olive Garden for our catering for 9 years now, cant say enough great things about them. They are my favorite place as I know it will always be stress free & wonderful.

I love Olive Garden and typically I have a great experience. Unfortunately, this location has dingy, dirty, feel to it. On top of that our party of four was sat at a extremely uncomfortable table that was far too small, my chicken Alfredo had very limited amounts of sauce and chicken, and the overall presentation of all the food was poor. Pet Peeve, the photo of the location is not this location. On the good side, our server was great.

I wont lie, I like Olive Garden. Its tough to beat Soup, Salad, and Breadsticks for the low price that they offer. I dont come here often, but I always enjoy my meal when I do come. Just dont expect top notch Italian food, because you wont fine it. Id probably give this place three stars if it werent for the breadsticks. I loved their breadsticks growing up and I think they hold a special place in my heart for some reason.
