Ive wanted to try this place for a while. Im not Indian obviously, and not an expert on authenticity but I know what I like and this food was good. Friendly staff , helpful, they checked on me a few times. He asked about any dietary restrictions which was great. Im not vegan but I love vegan, vegetarian, raw and omnivore dishes. I think my Locs make people assume Im vegan. Id rather people ask than not ask so no complaint there. He was taking care of his customer. One complaint is that rice doesnt come with the entree. The menu doesnt said it does to be fair but I thought at least rice or bread would come with an entree as with most places I go, a lot give you both. The spice was good if not a little a little bit mild. Im not sure if they held off on it because Im not south Indian. I get that a lot and have to ask for "Indian spicy" not "American spicy" at most places. Im sure they were trying to make sure I enjoyed the food so I cant ding them for that. Again taking care of thier customer. I didnt notice the sign of $15.00 minimum for credit card and he let me pay anyway without hassle and that was great. Overall the place was good ,clean friendly, attentive. Good price , nice portions, fairly quick and hot food. Ill be back with cash and friends. I wish I could give 4.5 as my only concerns was no rice or bread with the meal.

I praised this place when it first opened. At times the food is freaking fantastic. But because of the inconsistencies and the service, I just cant give it a good review. When the food has tasted good I enjoyed the goat/lamb biryani, chicken 65, and several of the chicken dishes. Prices are cheap compared to other indian restaurants. Often times and the reason for the 2 star review: They are always out of items. Service is bad. Food is inconsistent. My last visit, the chicken 65 was the worst i have ever had it there and typically its my favorite. The place looks like a whole in the wall and can definitely have better appearance. Had to buy the thumbs up from the grocery store next to it. The food takes forever most of the time even if you call it in. Portions are different whether you eat there or get it to go. I wish they could be more consistent.

I was the customer for this restaurant for 3 years. About this incident - I ordered the EGG biryani and the food was not like regular egg biryani at all because they mixed some king of spice flavors with white basmati rice. When I asked about it, the cooking chef and servers said that " its how we prepare it and you no need to pay the money and leave the restaurant right a way without making any scene" the response was very RUDE, HUMILIATE and HARRASSEMENT. The cooking chefs GESTURE were not professional and they didnt treat us like a customer. I was not able to complain to any supervisor or manager as they were not present. So I thought of sharing my experience here. Please be careful especially visiting with family as they are not friendly.

I have been here twice, two things which will make you happy are, first the pricing of the food items in the menu("Lot cheaper than other Indian restaurants around here") and then the biriyani (was really tasty). we also ordered chilli chicken and chilly Idly which was not that bad could have been better. The service was very slow May be because it was crowded. The second time when I went there they served the orders real quick and this time the chilly Idly was not like how it was during my previous visit, It was bad and the quantity of the gravy which i ordered for the naan was less, otherwise the taste was good. Overall a satisfying experience and value for your money.

Excellent food. I had a training at the nearby macomb community college and went to this place for lunch. I ordered chicken biryani and chili cheese chicken. Both dishes were excellent. Its hard to find legit biryani away from Pakistan or India but have to say It was as good as any I have eaten back home. We went back the next day and the Biryani was even better. Cons: My colleagues ordered Goat biryani. The amount of goat in their plates was not good and they were complaining about it. Secondly the order might take a little while to come so be prepared to go with some time in hand.

I ordered the Kadal paneer as a carry out. The flavor is really good, little too spicy for me & the tofu is little tough, it didnt absorb any of the sauce. They dont tell you that your meal doesnt come with rice, thats extra. Naan is extra (which I almost expect) . Also when i arrived to the restaurant, it was not very clean, your feet stuck to the floors. They had a sign posted minimum $15 order for credit card, luckily I had cash. The service was a little rude. Not Impressed, wont be back.

The place is economical and the quantity is adequate for the cost. The wait time is more on weekends. I understand that many customers complain about Chicken 65 but the fact is they make Tamil Nadu style Chicken-65 which is dry and crunchy in nature. (Trust me, U cant find authentic Tamil Nadu styles even in other parts of India). For last 3 yrs, I have been searching a lot of Indian Restaurants at Boston, Houston and Michigan for Authentic Tamil Nadu style foods and finally found one.

I agree this place isnt consistent with their service quality but this is the only place I go to get biriyani. The Avakaya chicken biriyani they serve is mouth watering every single time. Their appetizers are sometimes not that great but for the price I cannot complain. I usually dont dine in so I dont really care how the place looks but its the perfect place for take away to sit at home and eat watching a nice movie in the weekend ;)

This is the Worst Restaurant i ever visited, they dont supply food instead serve as Prasadam Quantity for the price they charge. Chicken Curry...but u hardly find chicken in that. Naan...This is tiny piece i have seen in any Restaurant. They take 30-40 minutes to serve, not for making, But to keep in Oven heat and then transfer to plastic ones and serve. Sirf Bakwass...Never visit... Dont even deserve 1 Star.

Positives - best Indian restaurant around..Authentic and great tasting food. Chicken biryani, chili chicken and methi malai chicken are awesome. Negatives are - Place doesnt feel hygienic and has loud music playing over a connected laptop (usually buffering)and hence I usually order by calling or online. They say the food will be ready in 20 mins but that never happens..usually takes them about an hour.

I ate here few times (biryani, chicken 65 etc etc) not even once was I satisfied with my food. Rice is always dry and tasteless in biryani, theres barely any chicken at all in chicken biryani, no vegetables in veg biryani. Everytime I ordered chicken 65 it was way too dry and crunchy. I had to order and throw my food away so many times. It was total waste of money most of the times I ordered.

It was horrible!! They didnt have like half the menu available The TV was too loud and the video playing kept freezing The food took an hour to come And it was the food in their title!; Biryani!!!! The food was nothing like the picture They never asked once if we were satisfied or if we needed anything while we ate!!! And apparently we had to clean up our table ourselves after we ate
