Horrible place to eat The food is prepared with very little care (i have seen people drop raw chicken and veggies on the floor and "rinse" it and just add it back to the clean chicken/veggies) they dont rinse there veggies and if they do rinse the veggies its in a dirty sink that has bean and meat juice in it. (Chipotle has a specific sink and sanitizer for the veggies at pancheroes they barely use water.if you come in the evening you are most likely eating veggies that were barely rinsed or just not rinsed and if you come in the mornings you are most likely eating stove cleaner with your food. The dinning rooms are clean to the bare minimum (infact the whole stored is barely cleaned) . wost of all they do not have rules for hand washing or glove changing and the worker just change there glove when ever the remeber or feel like it. I have seen people go to the bathroom and go right back to work woth out washing there hands @ chipotle and any other restaurant i worked at you are required to wash your hands twice before returning to work and change glove no matter what every hour on the hour. (When i worked there i cut my finger and had wear gloves that were too small so they broke i had to wear small glove the whole two weeks it took my finger to heal because my gm would not order a larger size glove.)The workers talk bad about the customers after they leave. The gm is rude has no idea how to do his job. (Hands down worse boss i ever had) Went to get food after i had left the company and the gm was rude. I asked could i get rice on the side and he replied with "i cant just give away free food away" i never asked if i could have free rice i just wanted it on the side i even said i was willing to pay extra for it bc that how my mother inlaw likes it. After saying i would pay for the rice the gm tried to charge me $7.24 for two scoops of rice (the same amount they ended up putting in my bowl anyways) after being forced to get the rice the way the gm wanted to give to me i didnt have enough room to add the sauce on to the bowl and They charged me for the sauce on the side even though there wasnt space for it in the bowl and there was no sauce on the bowl. Bottom line i will never eat here again nor would i recommend this place to anyone. Ps they dont temp any of the foodand they will let food sit there all day especially on sundays Pss they do not hire black people especially black males Psss they only hired me bc i lied about being Latino and when they found out they started acting funny. Pssss they are NOT better than chipotle have you been in a chipotle recently. Lol

I ordered a vegetarian burrito bowl. I got one scope of rice and one scope of beans. The veggies were gross. The tomatoes in the pico de gallo were disgusting. Not only was the taste disgusting but the tomatoes appeared to be sitting for so long they were disintegrating. The sautéed veggies were also nasty, but not nearly as bad as the tomatoes. I couldnt finish eating it. It didnt help that when I took a bite there was something hard inside that was not food, but I couldnt figure out what it actually was. Oh and on the vegetarian if you order guacamole, they charge you extra (unlike Chipotle or Qdoba.) Sad part is I dont remember it being this bad last time I went there. Not sure if they have new management or if they are losing money and cutting MANY corners on quality. Either way, I will not be going back.

I used to enjoy the food here until a new manager took over operations. The food quality has deteriorated to the point where it is inedible. I had a bad experience not long ago but decided to give it another chance so I went in during a quiet time, no one in line and the ingredients where left uncovered and the meats looked burnt to a crisp. Sadly, the new manager has ruined what used to be a staple for me. I had to put in one star or it wouldnt let me post. If I could, I would have given it a negative rating. The review before mine by Guillermo Castillo, who is the new manager, rated it 5 stars.... his own shop... go figure.

The smell of someones lunch around the office put me in the mood for Mexican so I hopped onto Google Maps and took a look at what was nearby. I wasnt familiar with this place and wasnt sure if it was a chain or what but the reviews were good so I took a chance. Meh. It looks like a Chipotle but service wasnt as upbeat, the food didnt have the same fresh looking ingredients or flavor. It was even more expensive. On the upside it wasnt as loud as the Chipotle that I typically frequent during work hours and was (a lot) warmer (which was okay on *this* cold day). It felt like pumped up mall food and I dont plan on going back .

As a former employee of this exact location, I would like to disagree with the previous reviews. During the lunch hours, Pancheros provides great food and service. The diner shift is another story. There are few employees, and rushes are uncommon, but when there are, you may find slow service. It is due to the fact that there are no more than 3 employees working. I have found that the food and service have still been good even after I have stopped working there. If you are looking for Mexican, give Pancheros a shot. And if you were not completely satisfied, go try it again during the lunch hours

Theres a Pancheros accross from my gym. Its been there a few years now, and I had never tried it. Gave it a shot…and now Im like, " why have I not tried this place sooner". I was really surprised. Im convinced its better than Chipotle. First, they actually made my tortilla from scratch…not pulling it out of some package. I thought that was pretty sweet and was surprised how much better a fresh tortilla makes things taste. I had the chicken burrito and for sure the chicken is way better than Chipotles chicken. Great service. Got what I paid for certainly. Definitely stoppin back.

This place is great. I was looking for a local spot like Chipotle but better. They add a few perks like mixing the food after they put it on the burrito. I asked chipolte to do that and they said no! Not sure what other people experienced but the place was spotless when I went in. I know its under new management so maybe they were there before that. It has new TVs too so I can watch the news while I eat! I give it an A+

The service here is usually really good (especially fro Guillermo the manager), but the quality of food is not even close to being in the same league of Chipotle. This place gets packed for lunch because the office crowd stumbles in, but otherwise, it is usually quiet and relaxing enough. If you are stopping here, definitely pay the extra to get Queso with your meal....thats the best part!
