Overall a great experience! We walked in and noticed right away it was super loud, so Im thinking "ut oh". I mentioned it was loud so they sat us nearer to the back. It was still real loud so I asked if the music could be turned down a little and they did it right away, which we appreciated greatly. For food we got the ceviche, just as good as everyone says, the shishitano peppers were yummy but some got pretty hot, lobster chowder very good and filling. Warm mushroom salad was tasty, wedge salad very good. The scallops were very, very fresh tasting and cooked perfectly. I was just a little let down by all the steamed spinach and lack of more solid vegetables. Also got the salmon and it was very excellent. Cooked great, spiced great, and had some nice sides to it. For dessert had some sorbet, again tasty....kind of like gelato, and the panna cotta...also good. Service was pretty decent but I think our girl had a lack of knowledge about gluten which made my husband have fewer options than he could have with some very simple substitutions. We would come back, but hope for a little more quiet as it was much too loud for us in 95% of the restaurant. You had to shout.

Hands down the best oysters I have had in A LONG TIME. As someone that only gets to eat fresh coastal seafood when visiting friends, having seafood like this was a dream! As a human being who loves a good cocktail, or even a simple cold beer with crab legs, I wasnt let down. The bar is beautiful. I didnt have a reservation, but I felt in good hands by the host because she knew I was dining alone, and figured out the best place for me. (Thats good hospitality, people!) I tried the crab empanadas, the pacu ribs *which is a giant delicious south american fish* omg kill me now SO GOOD. They have a good variety of food which is cool. My friend had the burger and a manhattan. The environment is comfortable and modern at the same time, and youthful and not try hard, as so many new places seem to be. Bring a date! Bring a friend! Bring your Mom! No one involved will be mad.

Wow! Love this new restaurant! We really enjoyed the previous concept, Marin...but this is as good as it gets! The eclectic decor is warm and inviting yet very open and modern. The menu is amazing...something for everyone. Our table of 4 sampled a variety of interesting and very tasty items. All were superb! {paco fish ribs, fresh oysters on the half shell, stone crab claws, szechuan green beans, broccoli & cheese, sweet potato croquettes, scallops, filet and new york strip and key lime pie.} Oh.... and the garlic bread is to die for! Cant wait to go back and try some of their other yummy looking items. Next time well all order plates to share so that we can taste as many of the offerings as possible! The wine list and craft beer & cocktail lists are impressive and the service was outstanding. We will be back {soon!}

Food was excellent! We opted for oysters as an appetizer, three courses for the meal and desserts to share. Every item was to die for!! We ended up sharing each dish so we could try as many things as possible! I HIGHLY recommend the lobster corn chowder and crab empanadas to get you started. The NY Strip was perfect. And dont get me started on the dessert! Key Lime Pie tasted like summer time at camp, and the Fried Ice Cream took me right back to the state fair! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! From the host, to the server, to the management....everyone was on top of their game and had a great demeanor with welcoming guests! I will definitely be recommending Mercy to everyone I know!

Missing Marin Desperately! I LOVED Marin so was excited to try this, hoping they didnt lost the wonderful aspects of the restaurant. Unfortunately, my friend and I were sorely disappointed. The service was mediocre. A bit slow and at the same time clingy, almost uncomfortable. The food is the saddest part. Between the two of us we ceviche, crab fried rice, empanadas and lobster/corn chowder. The ceviche was ok. The empanadas were tiny and not very good. The rice and lobster corn chowder were very bland. Dessert was good, nothing special, but good. Overall Im sad the wonderful food and service from Marin are no longer and dont think Ill be back to visit.

One of the best dining out experiences Ive had! My boyfriend and I decided to do it up a bit for a rare date night and we were not disappointed. Everything was perfect. The on tap cocktail and the Cabernet we shared were both fantastic. We had oysters, the ceviche and the duck to share. The green beans with the duck were some of the best Ive ever had! Our food came to the table out of order (we really didnt mind) but our wonderful server, Jeff, was kind enough to surprise us with dessert on the house. All this created such a great atmosphere and it made our date night that much more special! Would recommend!

Restaurant aesthetics were very appealing, Oysters were pretty good, Drinks were nothing to write home about, but the main course was bland and unrefined. I ordered the "famous" Beer Can Chicken with Dirty Rice...very boney and insipid chicken on top a rice side that youd expect to find at your Grandmas Thanksgiving Dinner. For a $33 entrée, I was very unimpressed. Solid attempt, but fell short where it counted for a fine dining experience.

I dont understand the other positive reviews for this restaurant. We ate dinner there a couple of weeks ago and were so disappointed that we will not return. Its location is great if you are going to the theatres on Hennepin. However, it is very noisy, we were put in a very narrow booth, the delivery of food was intolerably slow, and the quality of the food was blah.

I went down to the Library bar and Jamie, the bartender, made me feel right at home. She was extremely personable and was almost like Ive known her for years. The conversation and cheeseburger were great and I would most definitely recommend this establishment to anyone of my good friends!

Had dinner with a friend on the patio and Talia waited on us, couldnt have asked for better service or better food. The warm mushroom salad and beer can chicken are fantastic. Their dill caipirinha is also to die for!

Dion is absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond to accommodate the party I was with. He had the best attitude, great personality, and the best service in all of the restaurants we visited in Minneapolis!

Talia was amazing! She provided the best service and was very helpful with the menu. We went for dinner and we really enjoyed their patio. You should definitely get the ceviche, the burger is very good too!

Unbelievable. Split the shrimp Po boy & Pastrami sandwich - both unreal. Had a couple amazing cocktails made by Tim behind the bar - took us to school i in the best way possible. Highly recommend.
