This restaurant only gets 1 Star because you have to give it a star to post, Google should add negative stars to their reviews. So Im only writing this review because after 2 horrible experiences at this restaurant and giving them ample time to contact me as I was told 5 times that they would I figured it was time to save others the trouble of checking this place out. My first experience was after ordering food and asking about drinks we never saw our waitress again. We never got to order a drink or even get a refill of water and we had to finally track down another server to even get our bill. 2nd Experience was on Christmas Night, we decided to do something weve never done and go out for Christmas dinner as we had several people coming into town. I had called several times prior to that day to confirm my reservation for a party room and that we would be able to order off a full menu. When I got to the restaurant some of my party had arrived first and they were pushing table together and I asked why as we had a party room booked?? They said no you dont and you can only order frozen pizzas tonight. Then the waitress (who should not be in the service industry) came up and said "If you want pizzas you need to tell me right now because we can only do 1 at a time and they take 18 minutes a piece" I was horrified and the bartender went up to check the reservations and said we indeed have a reservation. If I wanted to feed my family frozen pizza I would have stayed at home. I was assured that the manager or owner would call me right away. To date it has been over a month and I have called, left messages and talked with people who assured me they would call me and didnt. They obviously do not care about their customers or their service. The average food is not worth the the horrible service. Take your business somewhere else and save yourself the trouble!

Saturday evening on 9/17/2016 was our second time at Muddy Cow, the first time we went there was on a Sunday afternoon. We think the food and atmosphere has great potential!! However, the service is HORRIBLE!!! Muddy Cow was more than well equipped to handle their customers Saturday evening - even though it appeared to be busy, there was a ton of staff!! We literally had to wave down another server just to get our food order in. Please keep in mind we had been at the restaurant well over and hour - at this point I had been to the bar twice to order my OWN DRINKS. It gets very frustrating as a paying customer to see a full staffed restaurant more than capable of handling their customers, but instead staff members are goofing off and slapping each others butts by the bar/computer as we have to clear our own table and go to the bar for drinks. The worst part about it is the bar/staff members in that general area watched us clear our own table and did not step in once to take over. Not to mention our server acted as though we were bothering him anytime we needed something, when we told him we had to go to the bar to order drinks his response to use "oh thats fine". I may have been a little more forgiving if this wasnt my second time there with horrible service. Our first time there was on a Sunday afternoon - the restaurant was very slow. No reason we should not have had our food and drinks in a timely manner then either. I will be reluctant to go to Muddy Cow and suggest it to anyone, unless something changes with the staff. It was very annoying and not an enjoyable experience, both times!!! Its pretty bad when you order food, one last drink, and your tab in one visit because you know you wont be seeing your server again any time soon.

Atmosphere was good, food was wonderful, but service was severely lacking. The waitress kept asking us if we were ready to order food after we asked her for the beer list and before she ever delivered the menu or listed it off for us. Once we ordered a beer and appetizer we didnt see her much. We ordered wings for an appetizer, which were delivered by another server, but no plates, napkins or anything came with them. We asked the hostess who walked by for plates. She never delivered. I ended up going to another table to grab another caddy so wed have napkins at least and we ate messy wings with napkins and no plates. Burgers were later delivered and were wonderful, but again no service until we were done and luckily caught the server for the check. Our server was handling a big group, but we were very put off by the lack of service and attention. We actually watched the other floor staff look confused when they were restocking the caddies and one was missing. No one paid attention to our lack of utensils and plates the whole time. By the time we got our food we had already taken care of ourselves from another table. Well be back one more time because the food was good, but WOW! If the service doesnt improve this place will last as long as the last 3 restaurants that were here over the last 5 years.

This place has the worse service ever! I ask the host if there where seats available outside he just shook his head no and smiled, didnt even check or tell us how long it would be for the wait. So we sat inside, Our waitress was in such rush to take our order was not friendly at all. You can see her standing in the back where they make the food drinking out of a coffee mug and eating fries. She walked by us at least 4-5 times and did not ask us if we needed refills while we waited for our food, thinking ever time she walked by maybe this time she will stop but it never happened. 30 min into waiting a few people sat at a table close by got there food before us, and our waitress still never came by. We left after 45min waiting for our food letting another waitress know that we have been waiting forever for our food and our waitress never stopped to see if we need anything. First and last time we will ever go here. The floor was dirty as hell, the cheese puff display was not filled up there was alittle left for my daughter just to pass her by while we waited. We ended up going to Olive Garden across the street which of course had way better service.

Meh. The ambience is a typical sports bar with blaring televisions and music playing (at the same time). There were a fair amount of people there, but what struck me odd was that it was what they called "bingo night." I found that strange because it was Saturday night, normally bars reserve the cheap games for the slow nights like Tuesday or some slower day. The choice of beer isnt to be found in print, which is fine I suppose since the options were nothing to write home about. I asked for the least threatening brand and the waitress said its "2-fer" time, which I guess means two for the price of one. I said that was fine and she came back with two beers. (I didnt know I had to drink them at the same time.) I had the french dip. The meat was dry and the cheese was bland. The worst were the french fries because Im almost certain they didnt actually originate from a potato – it was mostly batter and oil which had a tinge of fish to the taste, making me think they use the same oil for their fish as they do their fries. Oh, joy. At least the prices werent too bad.
