This happened to my family and me three weeks ago. I tried this place for the first and only time. I heard good things about this place so I gave it a chance. This is the worst mistake Ive made since I moved to Minneapolis two years ago. I should have known to storm out of there when a saw a couple spiders in their bathroom. This isnt a delightful place one bit. Thanks to their food, I had to go see my doctor because of food poisoning. I was getting awful stomach aches. My doctor did her thing, and she agreed that it was food poisoning. This probably explains the food tasting disgusting. My family thought so too. I swear that they kept their food on the table for days, and I swear they rushed their cooking. At least, it seemed. I told the waiter about the food, but she didnt seem to phase her at all. She might as well have said "oh well" because thats what I heard in her tone. Stay away from this place!

I only hear good things about the food which was amazing until we saw two mice running around in the dinning area we had for a Birthday party. When one of the people in our party addressed the issue with our server she just laughed about it like having mice was some type of joke. At this point I wasnt trying to eat anything from them so the srever comes back with Chicken wings which wasnt going to work for us since we didnt trust that the kitchen was clean since wed seen two mice. After the server going back and forth with us the manager came over and asked us what we wanted, we said comp our food or wed report them to the health department. They took care of one of the tabs which they should have done without all the back and forth. Ill never eat at this place again because seeing mice is a sign that the place isnt up to Minnesota health code. Service is horrible and its a shame because the food is good.

Ok this is my first trip to this location, after reading many reviews concerning places to eat Bbq Ribs in Minn, I came here. I ordered the st Louis ribs, they were tasty, but unfortunately the texture was not there. They were not tender as you might expect. The fries were good. The service was ok also. They sat me right under the vent for the heating and air conditioning, I ask them to please change the temp because it was cold air blowing on my back. After two trys I was feeling a lot more comfortable. Im from a city where food is everything, so its sad that I was not able to enjoy the Ribs here. Just about to finish my review and her comes the the F AIR CONDITIONING AGAIN! I dont understand why there is no focus on customer service!

Horrible experience, without even making it through their doors. Valentines Day reservations at 5:30, thinking that would be early enough to avoid the crowds, and give me and my husband enough time to enjoy a relaxing meal and take our time to get to the Orpheum for a 7:30 performance. We arrived at what they call their parking lot, at 5:00. They have maybe 30 spots and not one was available. We circled a few blocks looking for street parking, again with no luck. Back to their "parking lot" we went and double parked while we waited for someone to leave. At 5:25 we finally gave up, called and cancel our 5:30 reservations with an explanation why, and went elsewhere.

The spare ribs are the best I have ever tasted and have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I was born and raised in Mpls and even though I dont live there anymore, I would never dream of visiting the city and not having Rudolphs ribs...the Bogy. I recently was changing planes from an international trip and had a 2 1/2 hour layover. I jumped in a taxi and stuffed 6 slabs of ribs in my carryon to take back to Colorado. Sometimes I have had the ribs FedExd overnight to me (which I understand they dont do anymore). I have tasted many, many ribs but nothing compares to the spare ribs at Rudolphs. Thank you Jimmy.

This is a historical restaurant located in Uptown Minneapolis. Great BBQ, but I think for whatever reason there is so much competition in the city now, that as of late, its been kinda slow. I remember a time when this was not only a great spot for food, but also a hang out spot too. This place also offers a specialty brunch, meaning brunch is offered on holidays, e.g., Mothers Day, etc., but I would call to confirm 1., the schedule and 2., their availability. Because its typically booked solid for these dates. Service is always good and the happy hour specials are great! :p

Parking can be a little iffy on the weekends, but you dont have to walk more than 1 or 2 blocks. Food is pretty tasty, but prices are a little steep. Ribs and wings are great if youre into BBQ, tastes more authentic than Famous Daves. I tried some jalapeno avocado burger and it was "meh". They have some decent beer selections, especially if youre favorite beers dont have to be cooled down in a freezer before you can stand the taste. The bar area fills up a little more around 10PM on the weekends.

This place has gone really down hill. Ordered the beef brisket and got some gray, tough reheated in a microwave brisket strips. There was no smoke ring on the meat or rub for that matter. The food presentation was poor. I got a pile of gray meat and 1 side of cold french fries for $20. This place used to have some of the best bbq in town. Unfortunately what they are presently trying to pass as bbq is just trash grub. Hire a real pit master and update the decor and turn this place around.

#1 They were not busy and it took 15 minutes for them to take our beverage order. #2 Breakfast menu still on internet, but they dont serve breakfast anymore. #3 I am a vegetarian, and ordered my meal accordingly. It came out with chunks of ham in it, and the server did not apologize and said it would be a lengthy wait for a replacement meal. #4 Spoke with manager and he seemed indifferent to both items above. No apology. Not recommended.

I usually like it here. Never so much that Id write up a raving review and give 5 stars and until now never enough to write a poor review. Ive lived less than a block from rudolophs for 4 (four) years now so Ive been here a few times. I hope I can attach a picture to show the fries I was given with my burger. Its sad. As a server in tbr food industry I would NEVER send out a to go order like this. Pure embarrasing.

Not too bad, but Ill check somewhere else out next time before coming here. They were out of the beer I wanted on tap. I ordered the chicken nachos and the chicken was so dry I almost didnt eat it. There were a few onions with it and some overcooked cheese. The atmosphere was nice for the area, most of the other places Ive been to around there were way sketchy at night.

The ribs arent very good and the restaurant is far too loud. The food came quickly, but not spaced out well at all, so our ribs were sitting getting cold while we werent even half way through the appetizers (we werent lollygagging, this doesnt happen elsewhere). The ribs didnt have much meat on them and cost much more than they were worth. The sauce is nice, though.
