I went to Huberts for the WBNA Finals viewing party for our own MN Lynx last week. We arrived about 45 minutes before the game was scheduled to start, and despite being the "official" watching location for the game and the bar being packed with Lynx fans, they refused to turn them game on until the scheduled start time (to be fair, there wasnt much of a pre-game, which is a complaint for ESPN2, not Huberts). You would think that with over 40 HD TVs, they could have turned at least a few of them to the game channel and avoided so many requests/complaints. It took over 40 minutes for anyone to even come by and take our drinks order, and then another 15 minutes or for them to arrive (the waitress, who was neither apologetic nor very friendly, brought us 1 water for over 10 people). I cant comment on the food because although I ordered a sandwich, it never arrived. When we told the waitress this she denied it and told us we had received our food (no, I think I would have remembered that). Then, when the bill came at last, there were 3 extra drinks charged on it. I understand that the wait staff were overwhelmed, but again if Huberts was going to be the official viewing location for the game, they should have been prepared and had enough staff on the floor to handle the crowd. Very disappointing experience, I much prefer the original Huberts.

First visit and it will be my last... Paid a visit to Huberts for dinner 2-hours before the Amy Grant & Michael W Smith concert at Target Center, figuring we had plenty of time to eat before the concert. Very poor experience and we wont be coming back. *We were seated about 50 feet from the door and it was freezing cold and drafty. Asked to move seats and that seemed like a huge deal to staff but they offered no solution to the freezing temperature. *Music was annoying......very loud and all you could hear was booming bass. Could never make out the singing or the song but just constant booming the whole time we were there. *Took 45 minutes to take our order *Took another 1/2 hour to get our food *Had to ask to get enough eating utensils *Had to ask for drink refills *Had to ask for check Had to hurry to eat our food so we could make it to the concert in time, despite us arriving 2-hours before the event started. Miserable experience....

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My mom and I were there on Sunday to watch the Broncos/Patriots game. It was fairly slow in there, but the bar had a few people seated there. They only had 1 bartender staffed. We were basically only acknowledged when we ordered our drinks and she took my card to start a tab. We were going to order food but the bartender literally didnt even look our direction for another half hour, when my mom decided to pay cash for our drinks so we could just leave. Never even saw a receipt, before or after we paid. I checked my bank account today (the following day) to find Ive also been charged for the drinks we already paid for. I will NEVER return to this bar to be treated so poorly and then be charged twice. On top of that, I was paying for parking to watch an idiot bartender putz around at the computer. Dont waste your time or money - there are plenty of other places in the area that are worth it.

Went to Huberts Yesterday to watch the Nebraska vs Penn State football game. As advertised, they show every game. There was a TV in front of our booth that was showing the LSU vs Texas A & M game. We asked to see if we could switch that TV to the Big Ten Network to watch the game. The bar tender said that he could not do it because several TVs are connected and if you change that TV then it changes the other TVs that are connected. I walked around the bar and there were 3 TVs showing that particular game. I asked and nobody was watching that game. We asked the manager to switch and he refused to do it as well. Thankfully, Lyons just 2 blocks down is an established Nebraska bar. Enjoyed watching the game there and the service was great!

We had our high school basketball game at the target center and the only restaurant that was open was Huberts. When we tried to go inside they refused to serve people if they were under 21 years of age. My friends and I are 18 so naturally we didnt have a parent with us. The staff was intensely rude and didnt treat us as the paying customers we were willing to be. We went and got a grown up to come in with us and they wouldnt even let us get takeout even while he was there with us. I havent felt more disrespected as a paying customer. And the staff was incredibly rude and passive aggressive.

If I could give this place zero, I would. I remember years ago this place was fun and happening. Arrived around 9pm on a Saturday and it appeared to be closed. Run down, food SUCKED, there were stale fritos under the mediocre cheese curds. The other food we ordered had NO flavor or creativity. You want to keep customers, youve got to have good food. The service was good, but its not hard to serve the only people in the entire bar/restaurant. Dont go here. They could use a bar rescue. I used to love this place.

The rudest bartenders you will ever meet. Asia, specifically, will give you a dirty look and then slam your drink in front of her any time you ask her for anything at all. I spoke to the manager in hopes that he would care at all and informed him that I would never want to right a bad review, but I wasnt sure what else to do. He told me that if I want to threaten him with a bad review, then I should just do so and then leave immediately. So here we are :)

While visiting the city for a Twins Game my family and friends stopped by Huberts. Atmosphere was ok, but pretty standard for a sports bar. Access into and out of the bar was nice and didnt leave you feeling like you had to fight your way out. As for customer service, it is lacking. Most staff were not welcoming refusing to smile, perhaps overworked. Interacting with the serving staff leaves you feeling like your a pest more than a customer.

Huberts has typical fried bar food and cheap drinks. Come for the cheap drinks, stay as long as the darkened setting allows you to not realize how dirty the place really is. In all fairness, through, it is just a run-down sports bar where you go for a quick beer before a baseball game. If you like mediocre fried food, then more power to you.

Have been here twice in the past couple of months for dinner before events at Target Center and Target field. Both times we enjoyed great foot and quick service. Has a bar atmosphere but is still older kid friendly at the same time.

This place varies from lively to dead, depending on the sports. The bartenders were on top of things, though it did take a while to receive food when it was ordered at the bar. Overall, a good hangout, though.
