This is a really clutch location for inexpensive food, but the taste of the food I have found at least, depends on who you get at the counter when you get there. The first time I ordered a medium size meal just with jerked chicken and mac & cheese (they make sure you get more than your moneys worth) and the jerked chicken really tasted like nothing at all. A mother and her son were working, and I noticed they kept all the food hot through out the day. Several times I went back and an older gentleman was working and the chicken was much tastier than the first and the meal was definitely fulfilling. Service is super fast so depending on who you get, you cant go wrong.

I ate here and the food was very very chewy. The chicken and the beef stew with rice and peas and cabbage and collard greens macaroni and cheese, which was actually pretty good but overall the experience was bad the people act like they didnt want to serve us and yelled at me because I didnt like something so I offered to get something else saying thats what you ordered. The food was horrible. I wouldnt recommend this to a hungry person.

I kept giving this store a chance due to location but the food is definitely not good to me at all..Sometimes didnt taste fresh and the mac and cheese barely has no taste. The customer service was always slow and annoying to me...nothing I ever bought stood out in taste...Jamaican Ds is WAAAAAAY better... even got a slice of cake from k and j and it tasted like a cake I made as a child paid like $4.

Been eating here for years. Have had food from all over but for me its the best. Chicken falls off of the bone, not over seasoned, big portions, they put love into it...yada yada. I will die here. The 1-star sounds like sour competition, just my 2-cents on that. If anything, I wish they didnt have the cake b/c Im so much fatter b/c I cannot resist.

Ive tried many items on the menu and I am impressed. I enjoyed the food. I would have given it 5 stars if the breakfast was better. I usually eat from Tropical Choice on 52nd and Haverford and they are a great contender but the breakfast is better there. Will definitely continue to eat here and compare more items on the menu vs my usual spot.

Definitely in love with both their curry and jerk chicken. Left the state for two weeks and the moment I landed I decided I wanted both platters. My biggest issue with them is they messed up my order a few times. Ive received the wrong sides a few times. Food was still yummy though.

Very disappointed. Jerk chicken was dry and over cooked. Paid for a medium size meal which consisted of lots of dry rice and peas. Tasteless cabbage and 3 dry chicken thighs cut in half which really was one and a half thighs. If you want to throw away money this is the place to go.

I was so disappointed.I had the curry goat & cabbage.The curry goat was tough & dry.On top of that I ordered a large & the portion was nowhere near I :(good thing though)i guess.The cabbage was tasteless.The only thing that was good ,was that the service was fast.Ruined my dinner!

I love yall ...u are one of the tops spots here n Philly only thing is this place holds out on the goat meat n oxtails they make sure to put half bones half meat the rest gravy so I order more meat n they still do that shot bit overall I still eat here

This place was rec by a co worker after I saw her eating their Jerk Chicken. I got the Cury chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese...... my God it was amazing!!!!!! Cant stop talking about it!!!! Cant wait to be in the area again for more!

I went here for the first time on Saturday and their food is awesome! I got the Beef ribs w/mac and cheese, candied yams and string beans and EVERYTHING was delicious! I will surely be a returning customer :)

While you can expect to be in here for about 20-30 minutes to place and receive your order. The food almost makes the wait worth it. Sometimes life has to slow down in order for good taste to catch up.

Good food ! That is about it. Prices are kind a bit high but not really enough to complain about. Not somewhere i would want to sit and eat at, just get your banging food and go home or wherever lol.
