Ive been eating at Ossining Pizza for over 20 years. I have never been so disgusted by the way a business in Ossining is run. I have been living in Ossining my whole life and have been going to Ossining Pizzeria since before I can even remember. In recent times, I have started to become upset by the way I am treated when I go there to get food, especially by the owner, Jerry. Their prices have been skyrocketing and their attitudes towards customers is getting worse and worse. I did not have a reason to complain until tonight. I ordered a large specialty pie for pick up, and went to go pick it up. As I was leaving the store, I opened the box to take a look at the pie and realized it was smaller than the large pies that I remember. I went back into the store and asked the person behind the counter, Jerry (the owner), if it was a large pie or if there was a mistake. He told me it was a large pie, so I asked if there large pies had recently gotten smaller. He then proceeded to ask me why im trying to cause problems and called me a f***ing a***hole in front of the entire store. A business owner should have more respect for his business and his customers. I recommend eating at Dom and Vinnies or Basta. They know how to treat their customers with the respect they deserve.

I am new to the neighborhood, so I am exploring my eating options. Pizza is pretty good, thin and crispy so you can slam slice after slice. I dont have a huge appetite, I normally eat 2 slices but here I can eat 3-5. I always get plain (cheese) and pepperoni. The pizza margarita was disappointing. I heard the eggplant pizza was good, but I havent tried it myself. Chicken parm sandwich for 7.80 was not so good, despite decent bread and cheese, the chicken serving was pretty small (about half a breast) and had an unexpected texture like a cooked scallop (thats the best I can compare it to), so I would avoid that. Mixed green salad with chicken, bacon, eggs, and real oil & vinegar dressing was tasty, but someone else purchased it for me, so not sure the price. Nice staff, good selection of sodas, etc. The menu above the pizza station looks like its just pizzas, so ask if you want something else like a sandwich. They have tables to eat in quickly, and they also have a section that looks like a sit-down restaurant. All in all, Ill get pizza and salad here, probably nothing else. There is a gelateria attached but I havent been yet. Maybe I will in the summer. Id like to rate 3.5 but Google only lets me rate whole numbers.

Ossining Pizzeria... let me tell you what I think about that restaurant. I USE to order from them about 1-2 a week and so tonight I came home from work around 8PM. Im tired dont want to cook. I order from them and first off the guy on the phone wasnt the smartest of the bunch. He just said umm uhhh umm for everything I said. So I ordered two dishes. One of them was soggy and disgusting and the other one was penne pasta, which I didnt even order pasta! Not only that but they charged me 30 dollars. Okay so whatever I call them to get it fixed and the guy tells me there is nothing he can do. WOW. So I said fine Ill bring it back. I bring it back (by the way I had the food delivered) and the guy said throw it away here is your refund. Not even a sorry your food was the wrong order and SUCKED. I will never order from them again and trust me I will make sure they will lose business. They are the worst business people and the owner is an arrogant.....

My family and i have been coming here for probably 20 years, and the food has not changed from how amazing it is. The service has changed, but only because their staff grows up in the business. The drink server is now one of the main waiters, and the used to be main waiter is now one of the managers. Also the food is extremely reasonably priced and always delicious!!! A funny story, my brother got food poisoning from Olive Gardens chicken parm at his 13 birthday. After that he would not eat any chicken parm except for my mothers and Ossining Pizzeria because he trusted only them!! I always recommend Ossining Pizzeria, or as many know it OP

Their food is excellent, all of their dishes have a distinct flavor and I have never gotten something that I didnt like. I usually have them deliver, so I can usually avoid the owner Jerry. Jerry is an older pudgy man who definitely has a stick up his ass, this place would get five stars from me if it werent for this disgruntled , malcontent and petulant man who cant seem to just conduct business without letting his attitude and personal feelings interfere with what they do there: MAKE AND SELL FOOD.

I absolutely love the chicken francese here, its the best I have ever had. The chicken parm is also really good, best in the area as far as I know. The service is good and the waitstaff are friendly. The only issues I have is with the owner due to his bad attitude and that the soft drinks in the restaurant is all bottled so no free refills. The pizza is also really good here with your normal pizzeria variety. I have been coming here since I was 10 years old and still eat here.

The person manning the cash register handles food and money without any regard for cleanliness. I called this out to him and from the rear came an old man saying "you dont need to buy the pizza". Unbelievable! as opposed to admitting to the mistake their attitude is to tell the customer to leave. Can only imagine how that kitchen must look like.

This place is pricey, but their food is delicious. My experience with the staff has always been good, and the place is very clean. I highly recommend their specialty sicilian pies. The reason they are not getting the full 5 stars is because of there prices. Other than the prices, this place is an A+.

I agree with Brian Fridkins review. This place hates their customers and doesnt give a damn about their reputation. My suggestion- order from Ossining Pizzeria if youre looking for disappointment. Theyll NEVER let you down.

Ossining Pizza, Please put some good sauce and cheese on your pizza. Its very disappointing. All bread and no taste. I keep trying every once and a while hoping it will be better but always disappointed.
