I placed an order for pick-up over the phone and they seemed really nice, but when I went to pick-up my food, the woman completely ignored me. Im not the type of person who uses race as an excuse, but I think it was pretty evident given that I was literally, the only minority in the restaurant. She gave me a bit of an attitude after I tried relentlessly to make eye contact with her. She had a snobby attitude and said that my order "would be a minute". I stopped off to the side and waited a moment as she gave me my take-out. She then began to act much nicer and handed me my check likely hoping for some kind of tip. THE BEST PART was that I still had paper inside of my chicken sandwich. I noticed the texture of my sandwich was off and I slowly starting taking it out of my mouth. It was definitely an experience. Its a shame because the sandwich, sweet potato fries, and the sauce were excellent!

This place has really declined in the last few years. They changed up their menu and raised their prices, but I feel like the food quality has gone down. Beer selection is pretty good and they have a full bar. Its very kid friendly as well and the kids meals are a decent value. There are some good things on the menu still... I like the fish tacos and the blackened grouper is usually pretty good too, if its not overcooked. The turkey burger is my wifes favorite. Skip anything that has their shredded BBQ pork. Its almost always dry and lukewarm. Also, dont order a steak. Its not a place you want to order a steak from. Breakfast/brunch here is pretty solid still and (I think) they still serve breakfast all day long.

This was my first visit here. My wife and I had a late lunch here a couple weeks ago on a Saturday. While it was busy, it wasnt crazy busy. We only had to wait about 10 minutes before a spot opened up at the bar. I really like the atmosphere of this place. Its very different. We sat at the bar so I cant comment on the restaurant area itself. I loved the beer selection and the bartenders were friendly and quick. The food was amazing. I didnt have anything fancy (cheeseburger and fries) but it was delicious. If I lived in this area, I would frequent this place a lot. Cool atmosphere, a large selection of craft beers, and great food. What more do you need?

The appetizer and craft beer were delicious. However, after that it was down hill. My wife orderd the lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were a disappointment. They totally covered up the lobster with the sauce... could not taste the lobster.. very disappointed. The Chilaquiles was suggested by the waiter. They were overspiced. I kept looking for a cool spot in the dish. Could not finish the dish, and I like spicy food. Again very disappointed. Finally the service, atmosphere and pear appetizer was great, so I give it a 3 star, more closer to 2.5 since we will likely not visit again.

I have heard great things about this place but have yet to have a good experience. The service has been pretty bad the 3 times I have been there. Two times the server forgot to bring our drinks yet they were on our bill, and service was very slow. I think the only reason we actually got our food is because someone else brought it. The place wasnt very busy and one point we were the only people in the bar area of the restaurant and it still took forever to get the bill and to pay. I will say everything I have had to eat there has been very good and they have a great variety of kids meals.

Oh man. You have to appreciate foodie food to like this place as much as I do. Blueberry ketchup. Yup, on the menu, along with a slew of other non-standard diner-esque foodie modifications to standard diner fare. And oddly enough, this heart-of-Edina foodie stops most craved dish by me and my wife? Chilaquiles. Who knew?! Another must have (if youre a sweet potato person): the thickest most perfectly fried sweet potato steak fries on the planet. And!! Oh man, you have to do a holiday meal here (i.e. Mothers Day brunch or Easter brunch etc.). They knock it out of the park so hard.

My family and I were in town visiting a relative, we were looking for some place to eat dinner with a local background. I saw Edina Grill on Google and we decided to give it a go, the service was exceptional, I asked the server for a recommendation in which he suggested the Penne Gorgonzola, I must say the entree was excellent as was the Lobster bisque. The atmosphere was better than I expected. Overall, this place was above our expectations and would highly recommend it.

One of the best menus Ive ever seen. Ive been here quite a few times and nearly every meal Ive had I would give 5 stars. The orange juicer they have puts out some of the best OJ ive ever had (and the best screwdriver Ive ever had). On the more expensive side but expected for the area the restaurant is in. I recently had some poor service here, which is the only reason I am giving it 4/5 stars but it was the first time that has happened. Maybe she was new.

The happy hour is great if all you plan to do is drink. Buy one get one single pours and drafts. But the food portions on the happy hour menu is very small, and the happy hour menu is misleading. A "double burger" is not a normal sized burger. Its two slider sized patties on a basic bun with no fries, and its $4. Spend a few more and you get a normal sized burger and sides. Three stars for the beer selection and BoGo, but -2 stars for misleading menus.

Met for Martinis and appetizers recently. Martinis were superb! We werent impressed with the appetizer menu, ended up ordering sweet potato fries and they were served warm and soggy. Our server was so-so, she didnt pay much attention to us and a good server would never have brought us an appetizer that wasnt fresh and prepared right. Menu doesnt offer much in the way of dinner entrees so we strolled down the street and ate elsewhere.

Good food. Only complaint would be their greeter, I went with a friend and she reserved a table for two before another couple. However, I arrived and was clearly there waiting and the greeter sat the other couple before us and we had to wait another 5-10 minutes despite tables being clearly open. It took my friend asking the greeter if we could sit at one of the tables to be seated.

We agree the atmosphere is fine, but the morning we were there the 2nd booth on the northside wall was not smelling appetizing. So bad we were convinced the neighboring building had its trash along the wall. (we checked...not the case) About the breakfast- coffee good, french toast average, ham and cheese omelet was good but hash browns tasted like the grease they were fried in.

The Edina Grill has a nice variety of dishes and price points. Service was quick and friendly. The serving "dishes" were these foo-foo type vessels that were a cross between a plate and a bowl, tilted at a 30 degree angle. As a result, all 3 of the main ingredients of my dish mashed together, which is not always desirable. Please dont overcomplicate the eating experience.
