Best Indian food in Seattle, hands down. Possibly the best Indian Ive had on the West Coast. Ive been to India four times, and the food here is as good as the best food Ive had there. The butter chicken is incredible, the lunch buffet is fantastic, the service is great, the prices are reasonable. Other Indian restaurants leave me feeling bloated - India Bistro doesnt. Thats because they dont use as much butter/ghee/lard as other Indian restaurants. Their sauces are lighter, more yogurt based, more flavorful. Highly recommend this place.

If Im ever down Seattle way on my day off, I always time it to go here on my way back north. Their Sunday and Monday night buffet is a slice of heaven. Food is very fresh, delicious, and ample. On top of their large variety of dishes, they have many apps and for dessert, you just cant beat the Mango Mousse. Ive eaten at a ton of Indian Restaurants, and this one is one of the top. You wont be disappointed, I need to get back there, and get more of their business cards, as Ive handed them all out to customers in my shop.

For us it is almost a weekly ritual to go for a weekend buffet. There is a heartiness to the food which is reminiscent of really good home-cooked food. I love their eggplant, their chicken curry with fenugreek, chicken tikka kabab and punjabi kadhi. This last is just not found in any Indian restaurant. The owner always greets us with love and warmth and the food tastes like it was made with love. The ambiance is pretty nice. What more could one ask for?

Buffet is nice, especially for those new to Indian. Dishes are slightly more bland on the buffet than what is prepared on an individual basis. Chicken and vegetable kormas off the menu may be the best Ive ever tasted. Delivery service is also solid and the quality of the meal is no different than dining in. Restaurant has a full bar, great service & relaxing atmosphere... All in all, this place is worthy of being called the best Indian in Seattle.

My partner and I used to live near there. We went once when it first oppened and we fell in love. The Manager- Sunita is wonderful. The food is flavorful, beautiful and very filling. It is priced very reasonably. The staff there is excellent, very attentive to diners needs and wants. My Favorite: Gobi Aloo with Garlic Naan My Partners Favorite: Chicken Masala Get the Samosas Too! And Try the butter chicken.

Ive only had take-out from India Bistro, but goodness, it is delicious! Mango chicken has me coming back again and again, but the goa vegetables are also awesome. I love ordering Indian and getting more than just sauce with a few bits of meat. This place always gives a bounty of vegetables as a side or as part of the dish.

Great Indian restaurant with a nice upscale vibe, very spacious but tucked a bit away from the major arterial. Went in for lunch buffet, great value, food was good, selection was good enough, food was a bit spicy but tolerable. Went in towards the second half of their buffet hours, plenty of seating available.. try it out..

The food was very good, as was the service. The prices were very reasonable as well. Ive never been to India, but my brother has spent a lot of time there and regarded the food as authentic. We had been to Bengal Tiger around the corner in the past and probably wont be returning, as their food wasnt as good and cost more.

I only go to Indian places for the butter chicken, and this has a good butter chicken! The sauce is delicious and the chicken is tender. They have these small fried potatoes that are surprisingly spicy! Sadly they only give you a limited amount of naan so you better make use of it when you eat there!

ce pnd niI live right next door to them and go frequently..the staff is one of the best I have encountered in my resteraunt adventures. The food is fresh and of the highest quality. The restaurant is very clean. You can order take out and comes well packed and nice and hot. I recommend it highly.

Service was excellent but the food was very disappointing. The tikka masala had too much of a vinegar base, giving it a ketchup flavor.. Not good. Naan was overly crispy and burnt around the edges.. Really disappointing since weve been coming here for years when in town..

Love this one better than India Bistro in Ballard. Its bigger and looks a little fancier. Lots of delicious Indian food that you most likely wont finish (unless you have a big stomach:) so if youre hungry and craving some good Indian food: this place is for you! Enjoy! :)

Awesome food, ambience was good. They have lesser items in menu for buffet but each item is simply delicious. I dont remember when last time i was able to eat everything in any buffet gone in seattle area. Must go for every indian food lover or first timer.

Really fantastic food. Great location and space, and the staff are super helpful and nice. I will say that Ive had better, less greasy garlic naan elsewhere, but in the immediate area on this side of the bridge, this is my favorite place hands down.

Delicious lunch buffet. The food was hot, tasty, and plentiful. Even at 1:30 there was plenty of food available and the were bringing out fresh veg and other items. Well done. I will have to try the Ballard location next.

Felt like I was walking into my friends kitchen! Everything was beyond heavenly. Very flavorful and I would not have argued to pay more for what I received. Will post a picture for sure. So sad I live over 3 hours away!

Great Daal maharani and mixed vegetable curry. We ordered medium and hot delivery and it was fantastic! Speedy delivery too! Loads of Naan in a serving and delicious pickles and green mint sauce. New favorite place.

Service is a bit slow and spotty, but the food is good. Food is served in hot plates with candles to keep the food warm, and it works quite well. The martinis are a bit weak, but still relatively tasty

First time eating here. My doctor suggested it due to proximity. My meal was amazing, Saag Aloo and the mixed vegetable coco curry were my choices. I am definitely coming back.

Chicken was overcooked and made up of dark meat, dishes were unclean, and flavors were meh at best. Not the worst Indian food Ive had - but it should still be skipped

Always a lovely experience. I believe their lunch buffet is about $10. The staff here is very good at refilling your drinks. It is very pleasant and even classy.

The lunch buffet is typically hot and fresh even if you show up towards the end of the buffet hours. They also have mango mouse which is better than it sounds.

Vegetable appetizers with dipping sauces set the scene for a great meal. Order any chicken dish and get some pan to sop up every scrumptious bite.
