I have tried few other Thai restaurants , but this one is the best . The presentation of food is 5 star , taste is authentic as it gets and fresh , quality is best as well as quantity . Outdoor seating is available , have lots of beer and wine variety for those who drink , quite place . We asked for medium hot and it was exactly how much hot (spice)we wanted . The other restaurants we went was always way more hot (spice)even for medium level than we could handle . Jasmine tea was good combination with pad see yew , chicken satay and spring rolls . The server was really nice and friendly considering the fact that we needed her help with all the mess our toddler was making , very helpful and considerate . Again ... If you are in Eden prairie and want some really tasty Thai food , good ambience and helpful staff this is the place for you .. no doubt on that . Definitely visiting this place again!!! Con: no activity papers for small kids as other restaurants give .

Glad Im able to enjoy this place before word spreads too much and the lines grow bigger, almost dont want to review it so I can be selfish. Dont believe the negative reviews here, if you want fast food with substandard meat then go to a fast food joint. Its so rare to find a good eastern food restaurant that doesnt use grade F meat and cares about presentation. It has "thai" hot for the bold among us and the milder versions are exactly that so they have something for everyone. I have literally loved everything Ive tried on the menu and each time I think, this is my favorite dish, then I find another that blows it away. Kudos to the owners on caring about quality first.

We had the PotStickers and Egg Rolls for the Appetizer. Both were really good but they were small in size. We got 5 Egg Rolls and 5 PotStickers. I had the Chicken Yellow Curry and My Wife had The Chicken and Shrimp Stir Fry. Again, all the food was great but the portion sizes were small. You still might get full but i dont think you will have leftovers. The food came out fast but it wasnt cold. The service was good and the place was clean. I wouldve given 5 stars but the honest kid apple juice was not good and they didnt have Strawberry or Raspberry Lemonade anymore.

The food at Lotus Leaf is indescribably good! From the spring rolls to the chicken satay to the panang curry to the ginger beef, every dish is bursting with flavor and yummy goodness. You can tell how much care and passion the chef puts into his craft, attending to every detail, even the delicately julienned fresh vegetables. The atmosphere is calming and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. And the dessert! The fried bananas and homemade ice cream was described by my dinner date as "the best dessert [shes] ever had!" You need to eat here, theres no question!

I never made a review of any restaurant in my life, but i made this review to tell people that this restaurant is absolutely horrible after my experience today. I was first customer when they opened, but they served food to people who came 20 minutes after me first. If you go here , expect to wait an hour and no food. They also give you less food for more money compared to any other thai restaurant in the area. The reataurant was not busy at all but i have to wait an hour for one meal. I would never ever recommend this stupid restaurant to anyone!!!!!!

I have been to this restaurant twice. You CAN tell as Liv S. stated in her review that they take pride in what they serve. You will find quality in both food preparation and presentation There are hints of spices and herbs in perfect proportions that sneak their way into your palate. The touch of mint in the spring rolls is a perfect example. We need to support local businesses and this one is a keeper. We would be fortunate to have a Thai restaurant of this quality. Simple menu, simple decor....just wonderful food.

I love this place!!! Its clean and classy~ My favorite dishes are the Pad Thai, Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice, and the Massaman Curry. My favorite starter are the spring rolls and the peanut sauce it comes with is to die for. I would also recommend the Thai Iced Tea and the Fried Bananas. The Fried Bananas are delicious and the plating is beautiful too! Its busy enough that youre not the only one in the restaurant but not too crowded. Perfect place for a lunch date! I 10 out of 10 recommend this place!

Food was awesome, Service was awful. Service was very slow. Slow to take orders, slow to bring the food out. When the food did come out they missed one dish. The staff was reminded but they didnt bring the missing dish. But the bill came and the missing dish was included in the bill. This seemed to be happening to all the guests The saving grace of this Restaurant is its food. They were vibrant and extremely tasty. Hope they are able to stay in business by working out the service issues.

Best place to have Thai food. Good service. We ordered Satay and fresh spring roll for appetizer. Jasmine tea and homemade ginger ale for drinks and for entree we ordered panang curry and pad see yew. Everything tasted awesome. Panang curry was slightly sweet because of pineapple chunks in it. For our toddler son we had ordered fish fry and chips and that was the only thing we didnt like. We will be definitely coming back again.

Delicious food, attentive service. Only reason holding back from 5 star was that several dishes had run out: green curry, and chili oil as two examples. Otherwise, outstanding. Note spice levels are toned down for a typical American palate. If youre seeking truly hot spice level, go for the Thai Hot. In fact, you may need to kick it up with extra siracha or chili. Would return, next time in greater Minneapolis area.

Definitely not a quick stop for lunch place. Slow service, took almost an hour to get the order. Requested no meat as we are vegetarians but the entrée still smelled of fish and meat, probably because the same wok was used to prepare the dish. The Spicy Basil Fried Rice and Pad Thai were average in taste. The only positive was that the waitress was very friendly.

Just grabbed a couple apps for light meal. Its okay. Spring rolls decent, nice basil flavor, but a little lite on the shrimp. Green papaya salad is pretty good, nice flavor, but maybe a bit lite on the lime and fish sauce pop. Thai spicey prep was okay. Plenty hot I think for most people. Sounds maybe a good lunch spot. Will maybe have to try again

Really enjoyed this place. It was embarrassing the first time I went and ordered the beef Panang Curry. It was delicious but the beef looked rare. They took it back and came back and said those were the purple sweet potatoes. Over all I loved the food and the Thai Fried rice which is one of my favorites. Great addition to our community.

This place gives very small serving size, but it cost expensive. They also took an hour to serve one appetizer, and people who came after us got their meal first. The waitress didnt get our order to the chef and thus we wasted an hour waiting with no food before asking for the check and leaving. Would never recommend
