Listen, the teenagers who were running the place were nice. Not rude and they were apologetic when their card machine refused to work for us. My husbands bean burritos turned out fine and were adequately stuffed of ingredients when other Taco Bells are paltry with the amount in each burrito. WITH THAT BEING SAID: the workers in the back were not using new gloves after touching keys, unsanitary surfaces, and other peoples orders. The inspection notice on the wall was EXPIRED and worst of all I ordered a smothered burrito with no meat and potatoes instead. Something Ive done multiple times at multiple Taco Bells, the (nice) girl at the counter told me she couldnt do that.. so other than argue I agreed to just replace the beef with beans and add lettuce as you can see by my attached receipt. We were on a road trip so by the time I cut into my burrito it was already too late. Beef everywhere. And a few shreds of lettuce. They charged me EXTRA for lettuce and I got a few shreds but I want no beef and get A TON of beef! As a vegetarian my whole meal was wasted and no time to turn around to get it fixed so money down the drain. This is so frustrating and it was marked down on the receipt so the workers making it were not even checking the order for accuracy. I dont expect high quality food from Taco Bell. But I do expect my order to be correct. Would not stop here again EVER.

well i use to work for KFC taco bell back in January 2013 i was there for almost two years and when i worked there it was always clean we got the orders out on time and didnt have many complaints and honestly from reading theses reviews makes me disgusted. i know the employees are better then that. the people i worked with were never rude to the customers. from the sounds of it, they let all the good hard working employees go and replaced them with a bunch of rude ass teens sorry to say. come on KFC you can do better then that. i live in Arkansas and the KFC taco bell here is a lot nicer looking and the staff are always nice. and this is coming from an old employee of kfc taco bell. so my KFC taco bell family in Altoona Iowa get better with ur attitudes and make KFC taco bell customers wanting to come back. like i was told when i worked there the customer is always right. and they make your paycheck.

Horrible. Tried this place 3 times. First time orderd chicken bucket for drive through service. Waited 11 minutes and they were not busy. The chicken was soaked in grease and not a bit crunchy. Second time wasnt bad went at 3pm got through without issue orderd tacos. Third time waited 6 minutes before getting to the window two cars in front of me. Once I got to the window I was there 8 minutes. Turned off my truck. Only got some tacos and waited this long. Dude two cars behind me left his vehicle went to the gas station next door and came out with a case of beer before I left the window. It was 7pm the third time. Slowest service ever.

This is literally the worst location in the world for Taco Bell. I live in Altoona and honestly Im ashamed of this place! Right across from Adventureland and with how Altoona is growing, the owner should be so embarrassed, this place is DISGUSTING. Extremely dirty and needs to be completely redone because of how poorly its been managed. Long lines, sloooooooow, dirty, employees are rude always, just terrible. Health department should shut them down. Its been this way for so long, too!

Unfortunately the Altoona KFC/Taco Bell is the only nearby place for me to get a double decker taco. I have always gotten very slow service at the drive up window, the order is often wrong, and the attitude (to put it nicely) stinks. I would definitely avoid the place, unless you really need your taco bell fix.

I have given this location way too many "second" chances. The wait time is insane by any standard. The quality of product is horrible when compared to other Taco Bells in the area. The staff is rude, inefficient, and it seems under trained. Going there is depressing

This taco bell/kfc is not very old but looks that way because it is poorly maintained. Service is extremely slow. Expect long waits to order and expect long waits to get your food unless you order chicken that they can pull out from under the heat lamps.

Dirtiest restaurant Ive ever seen. Dirty walls & floors, faded old POP, waterstains, missing baseboards with rotting wood showing, trim coming off the booth and laying on the floor, missing wall trim, dirty tables. I wont stop there again.

This Taco Bell looks great on the outside but is very poorly managed on the inside. There was no ice and the trash was overflowing and on top of that the app didnt work this time.
