Finally, a cafe where you can hang out and hear yourself think! Cafe 641 is new to Hudson, MA. Been there approx. 2 months. I visited for the first time over the 2013 July 4th weekend. It was extremely hot in Massachusetts that weekend. Different sections had different levels of A/C. You had your choice of blasting cold, medium A/C, and warm areas. Front entrance has a screen door; atmospheric and warmer in that area. Bookcase against the wall with books for reading while youre relaxing. Food - Mostly sandwiches & crepes. Some pastries and soups. Affordable. I paid $6.00 for a breakfast crepe with cheese, onions, meat, eggs. Crepe was generously filled. Sandwiches were ~ $6.95. Coffee - Selections closer to Starbucks than Dunkin Donuts. I had a grande Cappuccino in a mug for $3.58. Tasty. Seating: You get a good choice of bellying up to the bar (wall), or comfy over-sized living room style chairs, or straight-backed chairs and tables, or more bar stools in the street windows. Plenty of electrical hookups spread around the cafe. Best of all for me, the music was background music. Atmospheric without being overwhelming. (I tend to spend a couple to several hours while working on projects on my laptop.) This background music was just right for working. Servers: Friendly, polite, in the background for the most part. I will return to Cafe 641.

Great place if you love to hang and like it quiet. Wifi is excellent. Small menu, everything I have had has been very good. Here is the downside, and maybe it is only a winter time issue...poor ventilation, so it can be very smoky from the grills. The smell will hang on your clothes. There is a screen door entrance, so in the warmer months, this may go away. As of this writing they are only open til 2 pm on Sunday. I see lots of people come in from 12 pm - 2pm looking for lunch, but they only have their limited breakfast menu.

Went for breakfast and my husband ordered an omelette. He immediately noticed a very very long hair in it. Without apology the cashier informed the cook who made him a new one. When she brought over the omelette, I pointed out that the cook should be wearing a hair net, I believe its a law. She awkwardly replied, "ok" After we ate our breakfast the cashier brought over an omelette to-go and finally offered an apology from the cook. Today, my husband went to eat the apology omelette and..... Another hair in it. Had to share.

Good coffee shop. I had a coffee and a monkey bar, they were both great. I also had a sandwich, not so great. The sandwich had poor ingredients. It was a turkey bacon type of Thanksgiving sandwich. The bread was think and squishy, the turkey was clearly dry and not fresh, the cranberry sauce was jellied. Just not satisfactory, especially when there are much more satisfactory options close by at the same price. Ok in a jam but otherwise move on for anything other than coffee and a sweet.

Minus the wait and giving me toast instead of a bagel, this is the second time we have been here and it was really yummy. My spinach mushroom feta and kalamata Olive omelette was really savory and moist. The pancakes were delicious. My only complaint was I had to tell them to put more forks out, I had to wait 10 minutes for my lime Rickey and the mix up with the bagel. Other than that, very yummy we will definitely be back! Really clean and cool atmosphere.

Good coffee, good food. Lunch choices are more limited, but much better than the sandwich shops in the area. Very nice atmosphere. It is busy, but never really packed. There is free WiFi, the place is quiet, so one can work there or read something without disruptions. It used to be the office of my company for a few months before we rented space nearby.

Lovely little, cozy cafe. Nice selection of drinks and sandwiches as well as pastries. Prices are a little hit or miss and theyre not always clear what things cost but figure around a tenner for most sandwich or soup items.

The food is amazing prices are good and the staff is super friendly their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The roastbeef pub melt is fantastic. If you try anything try the clam chowder some of the best around

Where else in the Hudson area can you get fabulous crepes and delicious breakfast and spectacular bakery items and locally roasted coffee and finally quality sandwiches for great prices? This is the place.

Had 2 eggs over easy (must have been small eggs), home fries ( not thoroughly cooked), 2 strips of bacon and, coffee which was not brought to the table until i asked for it.... $8.55. Just so-so!

Mothers Day was very busy....service was overwhelmed. Great soup and sandwiches sax and coffee. Average bacon and eggs breakfast plate, something I could cook at home

I liked this place. One reviewer mentioned lack of bread options which I agree with, but all the other ingredients are superior. The curb beef hash is really good.

Its no longer called Cave 641. It is now Main Street Bagel Co. It needs to tweak it self. Bagels are good though, cannot speak for other things on the menu.
