Do not order from Kabuki through their site BeyondMenu online. I ordered and paid $45 through the BeyondMenu site and received a confirmation and e-mail invoice with a pick up time which is very convenient. I use online ordering quite a bit and have used their site in the past. After I arrived to pick up our food, I was told that they werent sure of what type of food I ordered (they didnt call me?) So I waited about 40 minutes for them to make it which was completely fine and understandable. Then, they told me that I had to pay for the order there. Again. I double checked my invoice and looked at my bank transactions and the amount had been debited from my bank and charged to my card. They told me that they dont accept payments online and that I hadnt paid. That they had to charge me there again for the food. That would mean $90 taken out of my account, but they said that was between their website and me. They sent someone out to speak with me and I showed him my receipt and the debit from my account. He stood and mumbled "ummmm dont know what to tell you" and had no intetest in the order number or receipt of payment. He called out for Allen to "come fix this". After the staff debating about it for another 20 minutes and showing them all of the details of my transaction, I told them I wanted to make sure they were paid for the food but I couldnt wait anymore and either needed a refund or to take the food and they could work with their service. They pushed the food at me aggressively and said "just take it" like he did me a favor or gave me something free. I was in tears the whole way home feeling like I did something wrong. I will never go again. Veekoo in Royersford is tried and true and just an incredible place to eat and would never treat their customers with anything but kindness. Im disgusted by the way I was treated and the attempt to double charge me. Follow up: I did ask the BeyondMenu site about them being compensated or why there was a debit to my account and they tried to charge again and they were appalled. They are reaching out to the restaurant to hopefully make sure this doesnt happen to anyone else. And by the way, while I was waiting I picked up one of their menus and noticed they had cut out the coupons on the menu. I thought maybe someone used that one. But the whole stack of menus had all of the coupons manually cut out. Not a good look. Over this place. Will stick with restaurants that arent jerks to their customers. I am not posting a screenshot of my bank account for obvious reasons, but this is the confirmation that the order was paid.

They recently added an AYCE sushi option, and it really is quite a deal! There is a special menu, but sushi, sashimi and a good amount of special rolls are included, as well as appetizers, dessert and many of the kitchen selections. Its not available on Friday or Saturday, but for $22.95 (dinner) and $14.95 (lunch), give it a try! The Godzilla roll is one of my favorites at this place, and their Spider Roll is also good. I dont remember all the names of the special rolls we got, but everything was good. The servings of salmon and yellowtail sashimi were very generous. I really enjoyed the miso soup as well. It was more flavorful than some others Ive had. They have Hibachi tables available if you like that, and a variety of "cooked" sushi as well. But if youre a sushi lover, this is one of the best offering an AYCE option. Get over there quick before they change their mind! (We can put away some sushi, so who knows how long theyll keep it!) :-) Note: I didnt notice till writing this review checking in on Yelp unlocks a 15% discount. Didnt check that when we were there.

Very upsetting! They used to be so good I honestly dont know what happened. Every time I would order from them: it would take forever to be ready even if its the slowest day and theres no one there. They ALWAYS forget to put something in... Like rice or miso or even a fork/chopsticks. Why should I drive all the way back just to pick up half of the food I paid for?! Why does it have to happen so frequently? Why cant you just pay attention to what youre doing?! The one time I placed an order and they made something completely different and expected me to take that and pay double the price. Today was the last time I ordered from them. I hate to say this but yes... It was the very last time... There was a dead mosquito floating in my miso soup. Beyond disgusting. Im sorry Kabuki but I am officially done w/ you. I hope you will go back to great management and stay on top of things. Until then, I would not recommend this place!!!

I went for ayce sushi Friday. I enjoy the food but not the waitresses. I was told to eat all my food 6 times or I will be charged extra. I said this is not my first time here. Please make my rolls smaller. She said ok. My rolls were so large that I felt they wanted to charge me extra. 30%....There were 3 of us and once again she said I could not order more food until I ate everything in front of me....once again I was 1 of 3 ....rude and discourteous customer service. Please understand English if you want to serve English speaking customers.

Great sushi place for the area! They also own the one in King of Prussia. Love this place. Im a sushi foodie and have gone to ALL the sushi places around. I put this in my top 10 for the montco area. The fish is fresh. The service is awesome. They are very quick. We will definitely be back.

When my wifes party found plastic in their meal the other day, the management told them not to eat the plastic and offered no apology or refund. I stopped going there back when they first opened and I saw one of the Sushi chefs leaving a stall in the bathroom and not washing his hands...

So the reviews kind of scared me. That said went there with family that lives in the area as they recommended we meet there. The reviews were wrong. The food was great and had lots of flavor. I put this on par with the large chain Japanese steak houses.

My wife and I took our kids, 7 and 9, here and we LOVED it. My kids can be vocal about food they dont like but we all really enjoyed it here. Great cooking show, great fun.
