Friday night in July, a friend and I went for a late dinner. All three courses were fabulous; we had a local beer, and chatted with the waiter, and the owner, Tom. Wed parked our car in the Midtown lot, at the entrance to the building, and paid the meter $1.50 to park from 9:31-11:01 (times evidenced by a ticketed receipt). Upon leaving the restaurant at 10:35pm, at the same time as several other guests, we all discovered our four cars had been towed by Rapid Recovery Towing, to their 47th and Lyndale Ave North lot. It took well over an hour & 1/2, and $215 to "process" and release our cars (we were the only people at Rapid Rec, & we were ALL customers of The Rabbit Hole). ((Rapid Rec tried to overcharge us for their own errors as well, but this review isnt about them.)) I think the right thing to do would be for the staff at Rabbit Hole to let customers know that the lot closes and tows at 10---IT IS NOT CLEARLY MARKED on the meters, also, the meter ALLOWS you to pay for parking long past the closing time of the lot. This CANT be the first time this has happened to RH customers. Good hospitality doesnt start and end with the wonderful meal--in the end, the whole evening is an experience Ive tied to Rabbit Hole, and not all of it pleasant. The security guards in the lot were also far from helpful, to the point of joking about our situation.

Whether youre here for a date (excellent choice) or for trivia night (on Tuesdays) the diverse menu will not disappoint. Great happy hour deals, good beer selection, specialty cocktails, are only some of the attractions here. If you sit in the bar area, you can watch chefs who give a damn cook and craft your meal. If you sit on the more restauranty side youll experience a surprising level of intimacy. The food is all delicious, and if youre like me at all (not super familiar with Korean fusion as Ive lived in MN my whole life) youll have questions that the servers will answer completely and without pretention. But trust the chefs here, take a leap, and order something interesting. But if you feel like staying in familiar territory, the burger is very good and the French fries are the best I have ever had in my entire life. So, you cant go wrong. Parking is easy with a ramp nextdoor and the server will validate your ticket for a reduced rate. Its in the Midtown Global Market (obviously) so if youre early, walk around and find something cool to check out another time. Theres so much to see, taste, and experience.

Astonishing food and drink in an unexpected place. First, cocktails: "Alice & The Caterpillar" - Green Chartreuse, Cream, Pineapple, Coconut, Orange. Thats a creamy pink "girl" drink that packs a wallop. "The Rye Back" - J. Carver Rye, Gum Syrup, Peychaud, Absinthe Wash. Just as potent as it sounds. Some of the best cocktails in Minneapolis - not where you would expect them. They also serve a great local beer selection, tea, Vietnamese coffee, and more. Finally, to the food! "Bitter Goat Mandu" - Braised Bitter Greens Fried Dumplings, Whipped Goat Cheese, Pomegranate. A great way to start. "Rice Rice Baby" - Brisket Kimchi Fried Rice, Bacon, Pickled Jalapeños, Crispy Rice, Soft Poached Egg, Furikake. Perfection! I could just go on and on about every dish Ive had there - but this is a hidden gem on the edge of the Midtown Global Market. Its a bit rough in appearance (dark rough-hewn-wood booths) and a bit too dark inside - but the food! The food! And the desserts! In another environment people would pay twice the price for what theyre doing here.

I genuinely wish that they had a 1/2 rating. I wouldve given this place a 3.5. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was a little surprised that this was located in the Midtown Global Market. They will validate parking for 1.5 hours. The cocktails were interesting. Not only did they have catchy names but they tasted just right. A bit on pricey side ($10 and above). Even the dishes have catchy names. All the dishes were good. We got the Poutine, the burger, the fish tacos, the pork belly, the fried chicken, the brisket fried rice and the fried chicken in a bun. I really enjoyed the poutine. For Dessert we got the flan and another doughnut like thing. Flan was better. For 6-8 drinks and all this food we ended up paying about $300 (for 6 ppl), so yeah a bit pricey. We were seated in the bar area (high tops). If you are a larger group I would suggest making a reservation. All in all a pleasant experience.

A solid Korean fusion restaurant serving up a wide array of traditional dishes with a twist. Good ambience, stellar service, and a modest craft beer and cocktail selection to boot. I had one of the best bibimbaps Ive ever had here for lunch at a great price (they dont do lunch any more :(. The pork belly was a little fatty for me but lets face it- its pork belly after all. The rice was excellent with a great fresh and prepared veggie array and perfectly poached egg. The entire thing was an excellent balance of sweet, sour, and spicy. My mouth is pleased. I can tell that the other items on their menu seem well- thought out and reasonably priced, though slightly more for dinner. A great date spot or hang-out place with friends. This place is less than a year old, so dont let the lack of reviews scare you away! Try some bibimbap and bulgogi for yourself!

The Best Ambience , very friendly service (Mitch) , fresh , delicious and well cooked korean fusion food with the best sauces and not to forget the deserts - creme brulee and the desert made with red bean and cinnamon / caramel spread. The owners (Thomas and Kim) and the manager Amy are very friendly , patient and wonderful people. I totally loved this place and was a good surprise dinner for my wife. I would highly recommend this to hang out for drinks and to have your dinner / lunch. Nothing can go wrong here. Enjoy !! Thanks to all the Staff at The Rabbit Hole for making the evening a memorable one !!

A nice bar/ restaurant. What separates this one apart is they sometimes have trivia games at night! Go with a bunch of your friends and make a team to play. This is definitely a place to go hang out with people you know more than meet new ones though. Also, personally I thought the trivia questions were really hard. Like really, who would know that?! level. Still its a fun experience overall.

Such a fun vibe for a restaurant, its tucked next to the market area. The food was awesome, I actually preferred my daughters Winner 2.0 more than my Bop Bowl though, I wasnt a big fan of the hot and cold components in one bowl in the Bop Bowl. The Winner 2.0 was the greatest chicken Ive ever tasted though, and my husband loved the Rice Rice Baby. Cocktails were amazing too.

I was at The Rabbit Hole while their happy hour menu was active so this is fairly limited. However, I can strongly recommend the Harold & Kumar Poutine. Traditional poutine is really boring compared to how The Rabbit Holes pork curry gravy and all the other embellishments take it to a much better level. Super service. Free WiFi.

Great food, great atmosphere. Really cant go wrong at Rabbit Hole. Only complaint would be regarding their trivia night. Seems to be the only thing bringing people in at 8pm on a Tuesday night, why cram dozens of people in the small bar area? Teams order plenty of food and drink, let us sit in the table service area.
