Wonderful place for diner food! Ive been there for breakfast food (eggs and toast) and then, when I felt adventurous, I tried the lobster ravioli. The breakfast food is fantastic diner food and is frankly one of the best diner places around Providence city. The lobster ravioli was surprisingly very good! It was actually delicious and the portion was a decent amount when they served it. It looks usually pretty busy but the service its always at a decent pace. Ive never had to wait here too long.

im in the coast guard and me and my crew of 17 have been eating at the diner for about 6 weeks now sometimes breakfast and always lunch everyday and this place is really goood..they have excellent staff and very cheap food and not a small quantity of it and they have daily lunch specials that are always made with a little extra love…if ur thinking about trying this place out def go there the diner is very good

The Seaplane is one of the last--if not THE last--remaining diners in the area that has stayed true to the classic diner vibe. The food is basic, cheap, and good! The atmosphere is friendly, and the customers are regular folks from all walks of life, all backgrounds. If you appreciate lifes simple pleasures served up with a side of home fries, youll love it!!

This place can be very busy during the mornings. But then again, saying that about a diner is like saying the sky can get very blue on a clear day. The food itself was good; on par with what youd expect from a diner. And the service was quite pleasant. Its a bit of a way outside the center of Providence, but, I think, it may be worth it.

I am a OTR truck driver and picked up a load nearby. I noticed this when I passed by and it had instant appeal for an authentic local diner and the time was right for lunch. The service was fast and friendly and the sandwich I ordered was prepared just right. I can say that it was worth driving from Michigan to eat here!

Anytime that I had gone there. Is has been nothing short of great. The food the service is worth the drive and the old school feel is just great. When Im not there. I tell me friends who havent been. Are missing out. Best Blueberry Pancakes around. Not to mention many other great eats too.

Tiny lunch counter place about the size of a rail car, but the food is great and the prices reasonable. I had a mushroom ravioli special which was comparable to much pricier places. My family all had turkey dinner. Apparently its Thanksgiving every day there.

Traditional diner fare, but the cook is great they have a specials menu everyday for breakfast and lunch with a lot of italian and comfort food favorites try the eggs Benedict Portobello or the stuffed French toast!!

The Seaplane is great for an early (or late) breakfast. The police eat here, the local construction & DPW workers eat here. Service is amazingly fast and the food is delicious. One of the staff sings beautifully.
