Its not the worst I ever had but the food is not worth anybodys time. It feels like eating fast food and the service was surprisingly bad. The guy could barely speak english so any question had to be repeated and reformulated again and again only to get half answers. It was slow, and unless your kitchen looks like a Michelin worthy kitchen, just hide it behind a curtain. Nobody wants to go to an Indian place to see 3 small non-Indians preparing the food in the back... The only thing that saves it is that if youre vegetarian, its not so bad a place.

This place is awesome! Dont listen to any comment otherwise, the food is amazing, and with just the right amount of salt. The combination plate is my go to but check out the rest of the menu, Ive had almost all of it and I am always satisfied. This is hands down the best Indian restraint I have ever been to!

The "soy barbeque" is unlike anything that I have ever tasted. This is an unique offering that only the Santa Monica location has, which the Silver Lake location does not (as yet) -- so if you tried the other location and wanted more, this place is well worth the experience. So affordable.

Excellent Vegetarian food with large quantities ...After a long walk on Santa Monica beach we were so hungry. This was the perfect vegetarian food we could find and enjoyed the authentic Indian taste and variety. Parking is easy as there is public parking in front of the restaurant.

Food is fast food quality. Dhaba down the street is much better. Also pretty sure this place is posting fake negative reviews at nearby restaurants and also posting fake positive reviews for themselves. A lot of these ratings were written by people with no other reviews.

Best Samosa House location, imo. The recipes are always perfect here whereas they can be inconsistent at the others which sometimes suffer from runny curries. Still tastes great no matter what though! This is probably my favorite restaurant in this price range in LA.

The small plates are good. The dosa was a little burnt and the inside potatoes were still hard and a little uncooked, and the sambar was not to my liking. But the overall environment was nice, and the other dishes and the naan looked good. Worth a try.

Decent place. Not great. Food didnt have adequate salt. It was what I would call bland. If you want good Indian food, this wont be your best bet. But if you have a craving this will be enough to satisfy it.

The food isnt very consistent. When its good its great though. The garlic naan is made on the spot. The matar paneer is the stuff and I like the eggplant baingan is really good.
