Do not go for buffet. Maybe to go is ok. This was the most flavorless Indian buffet that Ive ever had. Im pretty upset that I just wasted $11.75. Im sure the staff is all nice, my word. I cant even pretend to be happy with anything from the entire buffet. I wish I paid by card so I could be refunded. Everything was the same color. Chicken was not tender. I dont know. It just was not good. Everything was so mild that I was able to give it to my 7 month old just to keep her entertained while I attempted to at least try to get full. I feel bad about a one star review, Im usually a 4 or 5 star review kind of person.

Weve been to India Bar & Grill twice in the last two weeks. Faithful patrons of the India Spice House in Eden Prairie until this last year when their service took a nose drive, we were pleasantly surprised to discover this little gem in Chaska Commons. Since every Indian restaurant serves Nan (bread), the freshness and quality of the Nan itself is a quick measure of how good the rest of the menu will be. It was superb. So was the Lamb Biryani, and yesterdays Saturday buffet. The owner and waiter were friendly and engaging without being overwhelming -- very pleasant and helpful. It will be a staple for the Stewarts!

Where should I start, I went out to lunch with a co-worker, and they had what I expected, a lunch buffet. But, that was the only nice thing in there, the food was maybe a .05/5, and compared to India Palace, it tastes like canned Indian food. I took one of the so called tandoori chicken legs, and it did not resemble chicken, I wish I was making this up, but it looked nothing like a chicken leg... This place really needs to work on food quality, it is severely lacking... I would anyone who is looking for a different Indian food choice, I would head over to EP and go to one of those Indian restaurants.

I ordered saag paneer and plain naan, which is my favorite. I asked for it to be at a spice level of 12 on a 10 point scale (I know Im weird). The saag paneer was not creamy as it should be, and the flavor was off. It was not remotely spicy. The naan was doughy rather than the usual slightly charred manner. The rice was not the usual quality. It may not have been minute rice, but it sure looked like it. On the positive side, the service was good. They have four good Indian beers. The interior is quite nice as well. For me, Id rather go to a hole in the wall with great food.

Discovered this little gem and decided to give it a try yesterday. It was fantastic! We went in for the lunch buffet, and everything is fresh. It appears that they cook everything in smaller portions so that less food is wasted, and theres a constant flow of fresh food. Service is friendly. They were quick to greet us with smiling faces and warming hospitality. Fresh Naan bread at request and free with the buffet. Moderately good selection of drinks too, ranging from domestics, to local craft IPAs, as well as house specialty drinks. Highly recommended.

Feb 8 2017 "Discovered" the new venue today at lunchtime. Best Indian food I have found. Exceptionally warm welcome. Bright and shining. TV was on. I prefer TV only at home. I especially dont like TV sound. I like Indian music... just saying. Then again, whatever ensures success for owner is ok with me. We chose the buffet today. Very elegant. (No more Indian from the freezer for us.) Price is LOWER than value. It moves to the top of my list for take out, and we will return to order from the extensive menu.

Great addition to the local options. Food is solid, ingredients top notch and the service is excellent. The food wasnt ready when my wife arrived a little early to pick it up, they found her a seat and got her a complimentary drink. They couldnt try any harder to be excellent hosts. The only downside I found was that the portions were a little smaller than other Indian restaurants in the area for a similar price. But mostly offset by the excellent service and quality, happy to support them with our business.

The homemade cheese naan bread and the shrimp curry were both amazing! There was a lot of shrimp and they were very large and tasty. My husband had the chicken tandoori and thought it was good but a little dry, that said, overall our experience was wonderful. We havent eaten much Indian food so it was nice to have a friendly waiter to provide great recommendations. Really glad we tried this restaurant and well definitely be going back!

This is a really wonderful addition to the Chaska community! The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. FYI, they do not have a childrens menu (burgers, chicken fingers, etc.) However, they cooked a special dish for our picky eater, white rice and grilled chicken. This is a sit down restaurant with a full bar. I highly recommend for families and couples.

I ordered paneer butter masala and thee was no butter or masala in the gravy! It tasted too tangy just like the canned puréed tomatoes mixed with paneer. Indian food needs preparation and spices not just mixing canned puréed tomato with paneer. Give this place a pass, if you really want to enjoy Indian food! This restaurant would not give u the real Indian flavour.

Four of us decided to check it out. We had one fish entree, saag paneer, two vegan entrees, along with samosa and chili paneer starters. All were very flavorful, spicy how we like it. with drinks and the appetizers it was about $25 / person. Very glad to have a decent Indian restaurant in town, this compares well with the Indian restaurants in Eden Prairie.

Visited last week and did their lunch buffet. Staff was very attentive, courteous, and friendly. Restaurant was small but clean and well laid out. Food was fresh, appropriate temperature (both literal and spice), and reminded me of some of what I had in India. Would recommend visiting here and will be back!

If you really want the taste of Indian food , please stay away from this place. I had ordered chicken curry and a vegetable curry. I had to admit they both were below 1 rating. Just because the rating starts from 1, i had no option but to rate one.

Eh. First time eating Indian food. Will give it one more shot but not impressed. Bland. Zero veggies in either of our dishes. Want this to work for them but completely empty on a Thursday night. Noticed some take out orders but otherwise empty.

I have been to some of the best India Restaurants in the country...India Bar and Grill is not in their league but it is very good. Food was flavorful with a good balance of spices. Restaurant was clean and people very nice...I will be going back.

Excellent! Food is dynamite and the waitress there is a pure delight. The rest of the wait staff is extremely polite and hospitable. The chicken khurma, chicken madras, mutter paneer were all fantastic. And that mango lassi....yum town.
