It is a nice clean place with a Prime location in Mankato, with great indoor environment, and decent patio setting. Staff is extremely friendly. Food is close to being average, with too little of a quantity per serving, nothing too different or special that you will not find at any other Indian restaurants. Way too overpriced for being in a community where the majority of the population is college students. An average lunch would cost you between $12-$18. A buffet option would have been great in order to try everything together rather than just reading something blindly off the menu. Worth a try. I wasnt really impressed.

The atmosphere is clean, warm, and inviting. The fragrant smells are amazing and appetizing. The service was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Non-vegetarian Dinner for Two (Choice of Lamb or Chicken): 2 Veggie Samosas, Tandoori Chicken, Tikka & Boti Kebab, Chicken Curry & Vegetable Curry, Original or Garlic Naan, served with fragrant rice, and Gulab Jamun for dessert. The food was sensational!

So glad they opened! Ive been looking for a place in Mankato to get my chicken shahi korma fix and this place is INCREDIBLE! The staff is lovely, their recipes are great, and their portions are large, making the price totally worth it. I love that I have leftovers to bring home for later! The only thing that would make it better is if they delivered, but thats just me having wishful thinking.

Traveled to the east coast (MA, CT, NY) & tried different Indian restaurants along the way there and back. Even go to other Indian places here in MN. Still think this place has the best taste to their food & friendliest service. Travel 2 hours to eat here from where I live pretty frequently. Always bring new friends & recommend to others

It cant even qualify for Veg Pulao and they called it Veg Biryani.. No biryani masala, no vegetables other than potatoes and peas.. And to add to it, the veg curries that we ordered were also tasteless.. This place is a complete waste of money and a dream shatterer if you are lookung for authentic indian food...

The food was good but the TV is so annoying. I wish they would shut it down while there are customers in the restaurant. One time I was eating and TV was on a program where two people were reciting some rituals on a dead body inside a coffin. All due respect, that was creepy to have in a restaurant.

Great unique food from around the area, if you dont know what to try, get the Special and try some of everything, price are mid range 10+ depending on what you get, staff is nice but could use training. Overall great place to eat that if you havent experienced is worth the time to try it out.

I have done a lot of traveling, & have eaten Indian food in a lot of different places. This rates up there as some of the best I have had. The staff are extremely friendly. Mankato is very fortunate to have such a great place to eat.

Great food and a wonderful serving staff. Consistent flavor and their willingness to tune the spices to your liking is a definite plus. If you have a yen for something with Indian flavor there are not a lot of choices in Mankato. Very happen that the one we have is cut above.

Only Indian food restaurant in town. Authentic, with a fair execution of the dishes. VERY expensive for the portions. Unless Mankato sales tax is 16%, the staff rang me up wrong or helped themselves to a tip. He was friendly about it though. Unlikely to return.

Waited for almost 45 mins for order to show up. Food tastes average but it got me sick. I believe it was not well cooked or well handled. I would encourage Owner/manager to learn some customer service skills. I would not recommend this place to anyone for sure.

My husband & myself went for the first time today- it was amazing! We had no idea what to get or what flavors would be good. The lady working was incredible. She recommended lots of different items & we loved everything! Go if you havent tried it yet!!

Friendly service, nice atmosphere and FANTASTIC food (at a good price). We love the Paneer Tika Masala and Lamb Vindaloo. As somebody who has visited India a couple times, this food is as close as I have found to what you will find there.

Couldnt breath from all the smoke/burnt food. Entree came with burnt lamb. The rice and sauce came after half the entree was eaten. Waited for over an hour to eat flavorless burnt lamb. Kids smoothies were warm?

Food was very good. It was so fresh, we had to let it sit to cool for a while. We were checked on by many people and taken care of. The olace is presentable and very authentic. We felt pricing was easily agreeable.

Good food, perfect portion size. The chai was delicious. Wait staff seemed inexperienced and were unable to answer questions. Would be great if the servers would go through some training on how to collect orders.

Amazing and authentic Indian food. Great atmosphere. Would be 5 stars, but when I asked for home made cheese in my dish the server said they were too busy. Not that hard to throw a handful of cheese in the dish.

I was nervous to try indian food as I heard it was really spicy. The staff helped me through the menu and I am totally hooked now. The bread is a must have with any meal! Try it, you will love it!!

We have been here 3 times. Twice for lunch and once for dinner. Always excellent food and service. Play it safe with the heat level unless you LOVE spicy. 4 out of 5 Marsala is HOT. But oh so good!

Great food!! True Indian cuisine in family owned and operated restaurant. Enjoy some of the best Butter Chicken u can find in US. Highly recommended
