Delicious cupcakes but do not throw a birthday party here. What a waste of money. The party was supposed to start at 2pm and last 1.5 hours. I arrived right at 2pm, and the party room wasnt ready yet. My guests and I all had to wait outside the room for her to finish setting up. Kind of embarrassing for me. We get into the room at about 2:07pm, and each child has 2 small cupcakes to decorate. The employee in charge of the party says, "ok you just squeeze some icing onto your cupcake and then you can put sprinkles or a cherry on top." That was the end of the employees instructions and involvement with the party. The girls were finished decorating at 2:13pm. The party has only been going on for 6 minutes, and the main attraction is over. What??? I paid $150 for a six minute party. I look at the employee and say "do you have anything else you need them to do?" She says "they can watch tv?" Oh my gosh, I wanted to die. I had an hour and 15 minutes left to entertain ten 5 year old girls. What a waste!!!! I promptly got to work passing out juice because the "free drink" that came with my party was a huge bottle of milk, soda or some nasty tummy yummy juice. I served my own juice boxes instead. Thank goodness I had brought a game of Bingo for the kids to play. My sister and I quickly threw together a game of musical chairs and a memory game. The whole time Im running around, sweating and trying to figure out what to do next to entertain everyone, the employee is standing waiting for me to tell her what to do. I felt like they should have paid ME for providing the entertainment portion of the party. Really, I give them 4 stars for their cupcakes but 1 star for their parties. It ended up being fun and cute because of everything I scrambled to do to make it fun for the kids. Smallcakes did pretty much nothing except give me a room and a couple small cupcakes. I guess I expected a little more involvement from staff, some more decorations for cupcakes, and I definitely expected it would take longer than 6 minutes. If you have a party here, be prepared to run the whole show.

I used smallcakes for my wedding "cake" this past December and it was hands down one of the talks of the night; not a single cupcake was left. The owner Lori and her husband were wonderful people to work with, they nailed everything I had wanted and exceeded my expectations. Smallcakes even made two small cakes so that my husband and had the traditional cake cutting and then a cake topper to save--the cakes are the same batter and icing as the cupcakes so you can only imagine how wonderful tasty these are. I without a doubt highly recommend Smallcakes for your next small or big event.

Cupcakes were absolutely delicious! The woman behind the counter was very nice. The only reason its getting a 4 is because the atmosphere was so strange. Im guessing theres sipped supposed to be music, but we sat and ate our cupcakes in silence. The wall has the cutouts for self serve yogurt, and they have filled these holes with windows which allow you to see into the break room which was a little awkward (more so due to the silence). Delicious cupcakes though!

The staff was nice and the shop is cute. I purchased 4 cupcakes: lemon drop, red velvet, chocolate, and a birthday sprinkle. To me the cupcakes were too moist and falling apart...very much like cake. Cupcakes should be cooked a little more... they almost seemed undercooked. I thought the price was fair considering the size of the cupcake. I gave 1 additional star because they open on Sundays.

Ive tried so many cupcakes from many different places from the most famous one to the grocery ones when Im desperate. Smallcaks has provided the BEST cupcake EVER! Not too sweet, and the texture is just right. All of them are very good. You wont be disappointed.
