Probably one of the worst experiences I have had in any restaurant. Terribly rude staff. Had a burger at the cafe today with my wife and mother. While we were leaving one of the waitresses started yelling at us in full volume in front of everyone, accusing us of trying to leave without paying! When the other waitress corrected her and told her we had actually paid, she didnt even bother with a proper apology. A terribly embarrassing incident. Horrendous service and mediocre food. I will NOT be returning and will be spending my money elsewhere and I advise all to do the same

My wife, our dog and I sat outside at a very comfortable table. Our dog was served cold water in his own dish and my wife had a great glass of wine. I got the mac and cheese with sirachi chicken and my wife got a Veggie Buhda Bowl. The Owner came out and chatted with us to make sure everything was perfect. This is a great little neighborhood restaurant with live music on weekends and a small town charm. We will be back many times. Since it is only a 3 block walk or bike ride I can see us hear a lot.

It is amazing what the Victory Garden Cafes chef can create with fresh and local ingredients. From comfort food like meatloaf to hoity-toity marsala mussels you will never be disappointed. Their lusciously divine desserts are made on the premises (a rare find); your palate will be delightfully pleased. Get to know their friendly staff and ask about their ""special" nights, such as burger night. You will not believe what they can do with a hamburger, yum.

I love this place! Ordered yaki soba noodles. Plates were beautiful, portions were beyond ample for the cost, wine list was impressive and the staff was impeccable. Must visit!
