So.....this was my original post after a bad experience and giving City View a 2 star rating: This was the only pizza spot in my neighborhood that had good food and that I actually found reliable.....until today. After ordering from the N Broad location for the past three years, since I have been in college, without a problem, suddenly today I never get my food. Of course today is the NCAA championship but whatever. After waiting a hour and a half for our food we finally realized we were starving and called. We were told that our food was delivered already and paid for and the person on the phone acted as if we were out to get them.....after 3 years of taking my money (a broke students money)!!! We received a nasty attitude over the phone and all we wanted was our food and nothing more. I really have no idea how it even makes sense that we would be calling for an order we already received and most of all have no idea why we would make this up after the hundreds of orders we have placed here, literally hundreds! We have lived in the same place that you have always delivered to, we have always paid for our food and generously tipped drivers and have always had nothing but good things to say for city view. Thanks for the years of service but today was the last time I order from here. I am starving!!!!! Oh and without disclosing who I am too far: Order placed 4/2/2012 @ 8:16 pm. for a large pepperoni stromboli..........thanks again (and in case you cant read sarcasm, I dontreally mean that) That was yesterday.....To my surprise and great delight today my brother received a phone call from the manager of this City View location , leaving a message expressing remourse and apologies for our previous experience and urged us to contact him to discuss the matter further. My brother spoke with the manager who apologized, assured us that this is not common practice and acknowledged our continued patronage through the years. Though I am not removing my previous statement because I feel that right is right, I must say that it shows true character to acknowledge when you are wrong and to make ammends for it. The City View manager asked if there was anything we wanted, and really we just still wanted our stromboli (I was so ready for it the night before), he sent our previously missed order to us and threw in a soda. Though the stromboli didnt have the priviledge of being devoured during the NCAA chip, I must say...........it is incredibly delicious; seriously almost ignorantly good. Thanks a lot City View, we really appreciate the jesture and quite frankly we were distraught trying to figure out who would feed us for now on. Glad to have you guys back so soon. So nice to know you view and take reviews seriously. This is my first review ever and who woulda thought this works? Thanks again.

So last night I was having a complicated day, one of those days where your sad but try to hide it but its all over your face. I came to city view because a great mentor of mines took me there once and the pizza made my tongue jump LOL! It was really busy but in ordered two slices and decided to wait, the counter girl must have given my slices to someone else or not heated them up at all because I was waiting 10-20 is minutes. (Still very sad over a life situation) I proceed to asking a employee about my slices and another goes to heat them up . Now Im even more sad because as you can imagine Im pretty hungry and I want to be cheered up. When my order was finished a man with dirty blond USB hair handed me two boxes and was so sweet to try and make me laugh, it wasnt until I went to the train station I realized hed given me two slices in two boxes. What a sweetheart! These people have great customer service , great pizza and I come here as often as I can

Today, I ordered 3 pizza for a co-workers going away party. All three boxes of pizza arrived with the pizza itself crushed into the side of the box. When we called to complain, the person answering the phone offered to send out three new boxes of pizza in exchanged for the ones we had. However, we declined due to the 45 minutes it took for these three to arrive. We were then offered 30% off of our next order. Since we always order three pies as the minimum, that would only mean 10% off of each pie, which isnt enough. Even though this is pretty much the best pizza in Philadelphia, 50% off the next order would have been greatly appreciated for the time and the condition these arrived in. With all of that said I plan to still order from here and just hope for the best. _____________________________________________________________________ Ordered more pizza and this time they arrived with the level of quality I would expect. We were satisfied!

The food is excellent, but they still need to learn a thing or two about customer svc. I placed a $30 order which was delivered without the pizza I ordered. I called and the manager told me I had to wait a few minutes while he made other deliveries etc. I should have been the 1st stop especially since my order was placed and payed for in full prior to the other deliveries that he had. I think 1/2 is more than enough time considering the fact that I was only 2 blocks away. Finally after 45mins my pizza arrives (cold) the driver lies and says that hes been waiting and calling repeatedly, while the whole time I was sitting at the door. When I called the manager he found it appropriate to rebut the point I made...with that being said, customer svc is key.

I should preface this by saying Im not even a huge pizza fan. I should also say I dont usually love deep dish style pizzas. That being said Via 313 is one of the few pizzas I actually crave. Their pizza crust is perfectly crispy yet thick, and the mix of toppings with cheese/sauce is equally great. My boyfriend usually hates gluten free options, but thinks theirs is just as good as the regular dough. It can take awhile sometimes when theyre busy, but theyll text you while you bar hop around the area. This is probably my favorite pizza in Austin, and Im hard pressed to think of one anywhere I prefer. I cant wait to try their new brick and mortar location, as well as the thin crust bar option. I always recommend this place to friends and strangers.

I just ordered a large white pizza with grilled chicken, spinach and feta cheese after the lackluster counter lady, put me on hold several times, struggled with understanding the order and finally gave me the total (which was higher than the usual price of the pizza) I shouldve canceled the order then. However, I called back to speak with one if he guys to see if maybe there was a mix up with the total. The guy on the other end was extremely rude saying "I dont make the prices, I just charge them and look do you wanna order it not, I have other customers in front of me" as if there wasnt one on the phone or maybe not!

Ghetto Ghetto!! I went to the one on Broad street a few weeks ago, and some delivery man he must of had his family there as he took a break, I went to place my order, the delivery man reeked of alcohol, and NOT to mention how loud he was yelling, @ his son cursing calling him all types of mother##cker, this, and mother##clear that, I started to head STRAIGHT back to the counter to get my money back, I told my man NEVER again!! You DONT get this in other areas that city view is located!! (Bad spot as well next to a beer deli)
