Went there for lunch because I received a flyer in the mail. I thought it was a new place. As soon as you walk in the whole left side is full of kids toys books left over dishes and trash everywhere. It honestly makes you feel like they can be living in the back. Ordered a lunch special sweet and sour chicken fried rice and wonton soup. I wish I could post a photo of what they gave me to eat. Half of the chicken was dried out and hard as rock the other half looked undercooked. Clearly it was half leftovers from who knows when. The sauce was like water and extremely sour and not in the good way, more of a gone bad way. (Im asian I know how asian food should taste) the rice was clearly very old fried rice that we put in the frozer then re heated it in the microwave and its looked and lasted like it was frozen and reheated a few times. I pushed that aside and thought Ill just eat the soup I was shocked to see Chinese ppl serving wonton soup that wasnt wonton soup. In fact it was a potsticker. That was as some point in time fried then put into broth. I have a feeling it was fried for a order and taken back and they figured that could just throw it in some God awful broth and call it day. Absolutely horrible... dont waste your time or money. As soon as I walked out I rushed home to use the restroom. It hit my stomach right away. I hope health inspectors pay close attention and visit this place.

Weve eaten here many times over many years. Sometimes (not often, but typically with no compensation other than an offer to "make it right for you next time") they forget an item in the order like sauce for an entree - so its best to recheck the order before leaving the parking lot just as you would do with fast food even though the bag is usually stapled shut. The food is usually at a good temp, very good tasting and plentiful in the items mentioned in the description. Service is usually very quick and we rarely have had to wait very long. In our waits, it is obvious that they also raise their family with their children on premises (who are now ringing out the orders when needed) They have also in the past employed (it seems) young teens (under 16, who are very capable) to help out. The restuarant itself is not the worst but it also is not always the cleanest. All in all, on the whole, Mei Wei is a good place to order Asian/Chinese food in the Blaine area. Try the Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce, Steamed dumplings, Crab rangoon.

Have become a regular once or twice a month customer. Food quality is about a 6.5 out of a possible 10. But as compared to say LeAnn Chin(closest competitor), its much better and much healthier tasting. The owners/operators are very pleasant but sometimes hard to understand, and their twin daughters pretty much live there as they are there pretty much every time Ive visited. Ive never eaten in, more or less because the dining area is less than inviting and quite frankly unorganized and unkept looking. My favorite dish is their General Tso combo w/ pork fried rice. The fried rice is 10x less greasy or fatty tasting as some of the competitors. Overall Id recommend Mei Wei over LeAnn Chin 10 out of 10 times in quality and price.

Very good value for the money. A small order of anything is a plateful, I usually get the Sweet and Sour chicken, and cream cheese wontons, which are great. Sweet and Sour chicken is always white meat, cooked perfectly, and big pieces. They serve the sauce on the side which is good so it doesnt get soggy by the time you get home. Eggrolls are tasty, cream cheese wontons are huge, although the cream cheese used doesnt have much flavor, they are still good. Can get a filling meal for under 10 bucks, dont forget to leave them a tip! They are cheaper than any of the competition and deserve it.

I go here all the time when I want some good local Chinese food. Ive lived in Club West (neighborhood just a few blocks North from the restaurant) for years and the same men and women have been working here the whole time! The food is excellent and the portions are LARGE for the price. Very, very good stuff. Ive also never had any mix-ups with my orders unlike some people apparently have(?) Ive never even needed to check the bag... except to open it to throw in a pair of chopsticks.

Placed order over 40 minutes ago, received email order confirmation. I called because the order had not yet arrived. I was told that my order was under the $20 delivery min, (the website states $15 min - total order for the office was $18.51) Then I was told we are over three miles away and too far out of the delivery zone. We are less than 2 miles away located on Hwy 65 in Blaine. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I WAS NOT CALLED, THEY JUST IGNORED THE ORDER!

The interior isnt exactly kept up very well, which js, unfortunately, the first thing you notice. Decor aside, the food is great, with generous portions. Everything was so hot I could still barely touch it after the 15 minute drive home. The fried rice is above average, but still not my favorite. Their General Tsos chicken is delicious. The lady at the counter even threw in free almond cookies when my order was ready. I would definitely come back.

I have previously ordered takeout on the website, when they delivered my order they said they charged my card a different amount then what was on the website because they website did not calculate correctly. They have a $15 minimum order for delivery. Their website says they are open until 10:30 but I called at 9:40 and asked to pick up a to-go order when I got off work at 10pm. She told me they were closing and hung up on me.

Weve been looking for a good Chinese restaurant near by and figured wed give this place a shot. We tried a few different things. Order came really fast and hot but did not look or smell appetizing at all.. most of the food had a grey look to it and the soup had a really funky smell and almost tasted like there was some kind of alcohol in it... We ended up throwing over 3/4 of our order away. We wont be ordering from here again.

Also very surprised by the low reviews. Decided to order Mikels wok and found out they had closed for good. Needed a new place to meet my needs that I thought Mikels wok provided.... I was terribly mistaken on my thought of "good chinese delivery". I am halfway through my meal from Mei Wei and cannot believe how hot and fresh all our food is. Wontons are A+. My go to in chinese delivery in Blaine now! Thank you!!!

Ive lived in Blaine for nearly 5 years, tried a number of places locally, and this is now the only place well order asian food from. It used to be hard to understand the person taking the phone orders, but now they usually have someone running the front desk thats easy to communicate with. Nice, family-run atmosphere. If Ive ever had a problem with my order here, its been rare.
