Not what it used to be. We have had delivery from here several times over the years and everything has always been acceptable, although a little pricey for the quality. This time we decided to eat at the restaurant. Going to the mens room to wash up there was a rank odor, my wife confirmed a rank odor was also present in the ladies room. Generally this is not a good sign. Ignoring the rank odor we proceeded to order the "Moby Super Combo II (2) with lamb and chicken and added two additional skewers, one of beef and another of chicken, just so we had some leftovers to take home. The place was crowded with a couple large families, that is always a good sign, so we ate outside at the tables. Our food was ready rather quickly, which we were surprised about, usually it takes (at Kentlands) 10-15 minutes. Here it only took 5 minutes. The rice tasted old and the meat was palatable but chewy, felt and tasted like it was microwaved first and then grilled (you know how chicken gets that rubbery texture). We attempted to bring this to the attention of the cashier / manager but it was impossible seeing how busy she and another girl were, running the register serving orders, running around taking care of business, while two guys sit around talking laughing and occasionally making bread. The two women were just overly taxed and impossible to get to. We dont think well come back to this location again even though this location is the one that delivers to us. Im sure we will go back to the Kentlands location seeing how weve been there several times over the years and its consistently very good. For the exorbitant prices they charge there shouldnt be any mold or mildew around the sink faucet area of the mens bathroom and the mirror on the wall should also be replaced seeing how this bathroom was constructed very well and with beautiful tiles and quality fixtures. My wife indicated the same issues were in the ladies room; mold & mildew around the sink area and also the same diligent construction with quality tiles and fixtures. Hope this helps!

No stars! The germantown location always has this bald guy working the register. I assume he is the owner. This... thing with a face should not be in the restaurant business, or any other which would require him to talk to people. I try to avoid this location (shady grove rd is great!), but didnt feel like driving tonight... that was a mistake! I walked inside the restaurant, and recieved my normal "what the hell does this guy want" blank stare. Ignoring that... i sat at the table, and waited for my number to be called. 25 minutes goes by, so i ask about it. Bald idiot says "that will be $25.25", and pulls my food off a storage rack. I respond "how long has my food been sitting there?". Bald eagle says "20 min". I say "you saw me sitting there waiting, and didnt say a word?!". Baldy spews "you should have asked sooner!". I shout "take that food, and stick it!" This is the first confrontation that i have had with this animal, but i have seen him chew out his coworkers/employees, and just act like an idiot to customers (including myself) for far too long. Unless you want this obviously depressed individuals bodily fluids in your food... i suggest you eat elsewhere!

What is wrong with the bald guy at the Germantown store, I go there like practically every night, last night I paid the guy, come back and he is pounding away at the cash register and taking calls, I wasnt sure what he was doing, and come to found out cause either he is too stressed or too dumb to figure out that I already paid, then dare to have the nerve to blame me for not telling him I already paid. How about opening your mouth and asking, instead of acting dumb and trying to figure out why the smarter cash register wouldnt take the same payment twice. He says I should have told him, Do I know what you are doing on your cash register, or answering phone calls at the same time, and making me wait while you are taking calls and I asked are you done, with my bag and its sitting on the counter and he wont let me take my food that I already paid for. Please give me a break stupid. That made me real mad, dont accuse me when I am paying your hourly wage, and I go practically 4 times a week.

This place is magnificent! I really just cant get over how they season their beef and chicken! Its absolutely delicious! It is nice and savory and perfect for anyone who likes a kabob. The rice and tomatoes are nice touches as well. And lets not forget about the bread and the cucumber dip. The dip is savory and sweet with cucumbers, a new cucumber yogurt dip made with passion! Also the bread is made with the low reaching clay oven style, made fresh before your eyes! Perfect all around! I will definitely return and anyone who wants to try something new check it out! Also friendly staff and great atmosphere!

Amazing gyros.. When I went to grab my food, I thought it was someone elses.. The portions are huge and thw price is perfect and taste is amazing. They let me the soup which was amazing as well.. Hand down amazing.. We have only found 1 other place that we love the Gyros at but we havent bwen able to find it since White Flint Mall closed..

Love the food, always delicious. Service is ok, depending on who you get working the counter. I tend to get the Kabob Joujeh which is plenty of food, I often struggle to Finish it all. Ask for the green spicy sauce, they never offer if but have it behind the counter.

Great Chicken Kabob! Ive been going to Mobys of Germantown and Mclean for awhile now. Their Chicken Kabob is great. The bread is wondeful as well. There is something about the spices that just keep you coming back for more. If only they had a 1 and half order!

Delicious food! Nice self serve place with plenty of space to eat in.I was wondering why they call it the Moby dick and after gorging myself, sitting there I realized why. Loved the vegetarian platter! Plenty of parking at the back within short walk.

The guy didnt even acknowledge me when I walked in. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes and no one came to take my order so I just walked out. This is the worse one in the DC metro area ever!

The food tasted good (although I could not get used to the taste of the yogurt drink), but both my wife and I got food poisoning from the meat. Theyre flavorful, but not worth the tummy ache!

This is one of my favorite places to eat, my son loves their fresh pita bread and rice. We go there often, the staff are very nice, and the food is always amazing.

Love the chicken kabob platter. Meat is always cooked perfect and juicy. Rice mixed with the yogurt is lovely. Great service and great food!
