Terrible. The food is disgusting and the service is the worst Ive ever experienced. Went for their "buffet" yesterday where they really just bring the food out in bowls and ask if you want any. Sounds like a fun idea UNLESS...you sit at the wrong end of the restaurant. The servers always start on one end and work their way around so, by the time they got to us, the food was gone! We were lucky if we got a few crumbs at the bottom. We even asked multiple servers if they could start on our end of the restaurant and they said yes but never did! They even walked right past our table on multiple occasions on the rare times they had food we wanted! The next day we called to speak with the owner about our experience and that we wouldnt be back. He literally told me, "Good. We dont want your business." Do yourself a favor and skip the headache with this place. There are way too many great Chinese restaurants in the area that know how to treat their customers.

I am a vegetarian, and pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food. I went to Rose Garden not expecting much, and was glad I did. I ordered the vegetable tofu entrée to go, and was told it would take about 10 minutes. I thought, "man, thats quite a long time!" Since I was the only one there, but patently waited. When it came out and handed to me, I immediately noticed the weight –quite heavy! (I began to be curious, hoping for great tasting food!). I was not disappointed. Wow, it was the best meal I could have ordered! The sauce was not overpowering, the amount of veggies was generous, and the amount of tofu was unbelievable! So much food, that I ended up sharing with my wife, who also loved it! Definitely worth it. It also came with white rice, fortune cookies, and some spicy side dish. Amazing!

Weirdest Chinese restaurant ever. Lunch buffet, dine in or take out. First time and last time there. Went in ask for take out boxes, she looked at me confused, I then got confused. She then said, will do it for you...what....we end up ordering regular dishes, how is this a buffet? Fine Ill keep an open mind. Ordered couple dishes, was told 20 min. It took 30 min , ok, ok, they were busy I can relate. Now a guy came in after us got his food before us. As we were sitting there waiting, people never got out of there chairs to get food. They bring the food out and ask around to see who wants it. Thats there way of buffet. Irritated but still open mind, maybe the food is really good and will make up for the delay. Got home, it did not taste authentic at all. Panda Express was ten times better.

I ordered today a Hot Spicy Beef Pad Thai at Rose Garden Onion. I have to write this review because nothing good about the food that I order. First, the Pad Thai is not hot spicy as I requested. Only several slices of Beef. Almost a half of the food is onion and almost raw green onion. The noodle does not soft enough as normal. I cannot says that it was Beef Pad Thai, but it was noodle with onions with a very lame taste and so greasy. For the manager, please check how your chef prepare the food. You should improve the quality of your food if you want to keep your customer. I am not sure about other food in this restaurant but The Pad Thai that I got it was really deserve 1 star rating.

My mom went there about 2 years ago for take out and spoke with the manager to order a dish with chicken & broccoli, because they dont make that kind of food normally, and his advice was to order 1 specific dish. It was expensive, and when I got home, the food had a lot of celery and carrot, but NO broccoli. I phoned the place and said how disappointed I was, but the manager who told me to order this dish did not care, so I said I would never be back and he said FINE. It was not worth what I paid and had a lot of bamboo shoots and celery - which is cheap, and not what I wanted. He only cared about $.

I have been eating at Rose Garden both in Coon Rapids and Blaine for many years and usually I have nothing to complain but today in Blaine 1-28-2017 the service and food sucked . I was here 30 minutes and only served noddles, rice and wontons, I asked if I can get an eggroll, spicy beef or shimps and it finally came 40mins later and was given 1 piece of shrimp with 3 slices of zucchini, so disappointed. Peter should be ashamed of himself, his business will go down hill if he continues to give this kind of service and food to his long time customers...it was a bad bad service!!

Picked up take out from here today. First time trying it. Never again, worst chinese food ive ever had. Sesame chicken had a horrible flavor to it and texture like rubber. Same with sweet and sour chicken. And even the wontons had a weird flavor, which is disappointing as i was hoping at least one thing eould be edible. $25 worth of food, took two bites of each and it went in the garbage. Such a waste and huge disappointment. The staff was really nice and friendly when i picked it up but i hope they arent too nice to fire the cook and find a better one.

Ill never come back ! Im sitting here now waiting for my order to go and my beautiful 3 year old daughter touched a packet of something on the counter and this guy behind the counter scares my little girl saying "no touch no touch" she cries, I sooth her. She cant even look at this rude person now. I only stopped to feed her chicken fried rice which she loves and was hungry after being in urgent care for couple hours for an owie on her leg. If she wasnt hungry Id have returned it and I shouldve because it was not good

Food was okay, I did not feel like it lived up to the hype a lot of reviewers had given it. I looked into some of the suggestions and ordered their Pad Thai. It was pretty bland and did not opt to go for more after a few bites. I have to say their servings are quite large. My fiance and I ordered 2 dishes expecting it to come on a smaller platter, and were amazed that just 1 dish was more than enough to fill the both of us. That much food for that low of a price is what motivates me to give them a higher review than 3.

I ordered chicken chow mein and all I got was sauce and celery it was take out so when I called they said they could give me a two dollar credit since I did not bring it back also the person I spoke too was very rude and insisted that I did not order chicken chow mein just plain I told him to forget it. well they lost a customer. furthermore when I called the rose garden in coon rapids they did not seem to care. make sure when u order something with meat that u double check your order.

Possibly the worst/weirdest dining experience Ive ever had. The service was not good at all. I was charged for a full order of Fried rice instead of a substitution for white rice, and when I brought it to the waitresses attention she threw a fit. I paid for the side after my check was adjusted and they boxed up a small portion of it then took the rest to the kitchen... ummmm, wierd. Not sure what thats all about but hopefully they werent planning on reusing it... food was ok.
