3 Stars may no be fair but i must warn you.. I have eaten @ Ichiban 18 many times but my last encounter left me feeling very unsatisfied for the amount of money i spent. Some of their Hibachi Chefs are very good, know how to cook and put on a great show. But from the moment i walked in Saturday night till i went back because our to go boxes where accidentally left on the table i felt welcomed. Walk in the front door and get asked to wait to the side while they seat people who came in behind us. STRIKE 1. Finally get seated and I get the bullsheet seat on the end around the corner.. Ill deal with that. The we order drinks. I ask for a coke with cherries for my daughter. coke comes out... no cherries.. i then had to ask 3 more times to get a couple cherries STRIKE 2. On to the food. Our chef had to be new, he seemed very shy. He then prepared our food with a lack of luster. the normal onion volcano was 2 tiered smh. not much of the rest was any better. the food came out more bland than usual. even my scallops where not cook throughout. Needless to say we had a lot of food to take home. 2 overflowing to go containers to be exact. as we left we accidentally left them on the table. within 4 minutes we came back to claim our food. "NO HAVE", "GARBAGE" and "THROW AWAY" was the response I got. I could have eaten anywhere but chose Ichiban for the last time. If they dont care to understand the customer then I dont care to hand them my hard earned money.

Disappointed in the management. I order takeout and dine in 2-4 times each month. Yesterday I went in for lunch for the 1st time and ordered off their 50% off rolls menu. I must admit it was a pleasant surprise to find out they had that special! My father and I both ordered 3 rolls and were unable to finish them. I finished most of mine, but my dad is sick, just got back from dialysis and wanted to take his to go. The waitress then informed us that we were NOT allowed to take the leftovers home because it was off the 50% off menu!!!! UNBELIEVABLE, they would rather waste food than send it home with us. What a huge disappointment…. WHat I should have done was tell them I’m not paying for the rolls that I didn’t eat, but sadly I thought of it after I left. I would also like to note that I spoke to the person at the front desk and he said I could pay more to take the leftovers. WOW, how ridiculous!!! BTW, the menu did not say that you could not take any leftover’s home. It really ruined the nice lunch I tried to have with my dad.

I only give it two stars because the people were very friendly. I have eaten at other Ichibans and the food at this one did not measure up. Way too much butter and oil was used to cook our meal. The veggies were cut very large and were mostly zucchini...one sliver of carrot, one tiny piece of broccoli, and some onion. The noodles were pretty tasteless and were swimming in grease. The rice had a little better seasoning. We ordered the fillet and shrimp combo and I will say the shrimp was delicious...the fillet was unimpressive.

Good (not amazing) sushi, fantastic hibachi. Ichiban 18 has a place in my heart because the people there are warm and friendly, the food is very good, and they have a (small) bar. They have 1/2 price sushi 3 days a week which is a great deal. Hibachi at lunch is also a fantastic deal...I recommend it. Also, the duck roll is fantastic. If they had craft beers on tap, theyd probably earn another star, but right now (and probably forever) they only offer Sapporo on tap. That being said...Im a fan.

I heard this place from a friend and was debating whether or not I should or should not go and reading the reviews I was like ehh but OH MY GOD THIS PLACE IS AMAZINGGG!!!! The people are so nice the chef who was doing Hibachi was so nice and the show was good and even the food was really delicious!! People there are so nice and friendly and I would really recommend if anyone is looking for a different Chinese place to eat!!

This was an awful restaurant. They took forever to get us our food. They told us they would honor our coupons but then didnt. Then after they gave us food they called us bad customers! Theyre food was ok while I was at the restaurant then I got home and had terrible stomach problems. This place may have been good before but now its awful and has awful service and management. I Would definitely not recommend this place!

Horrible Terrible I Know that place since it was called (Shogun 18) but during our last visit some days earlier i didnt eat a hibachi meal,too salty even the servers stay long time still show up.and a lady at bar talking hyphenated so loud constantly we werent able to hear each other,we didnt enjoy,sorry to tell we will never be there again.

I am reviewing this place as I am eating to make sure I dont forget. atmosphere is great, service is great. the service is always helpful. the hibachi cooks were very energetic and entertaining. food was definitely fresh. portions were overly generous. this is not gourmet food but the over all experience was nice.

Place was awful. Place was empty and could see why. Food sucked. And they probably know it. Thats why they charge for refills. And they dont tell you until you see the bill. $15 for just soda. They will never see me again. And if your smart, youll stay away to. Lesson learned. And the one star is generous.

I was told to come right in to get takeout. 45 minutes later after watching the staff run around nearly in tears I got my food. Other patrons walked out. Maybe its an anomaly, maybe they need better management and more staff. Probably not going back.

Good food. Good sushi. Great half off deals i think wed thurs and sunday. Hibachi is good but kind of feels like they are pushing you thru your meal. I understand that if its busy but with 15 people in the resturant its unnecessary.

The food was great no doubt, but not the best hibachi I have had. VERY EXPENSIVE! for 3 people for hibachi it was about $150 plus a tip. Very nice atmosphere though. The food shown is the chocolate trilogy and steak hibachi.

Me and my wife love sushi. Ichiban 18 definitely meet our taste for sushi! Service is very nice and friendly.will visit again!
