Today I remembered why I never go to Fridays. We had the 3 way sampler appetizer, hot wings, mozzarella sticks, & potato skins. The wings were pretty good and sauce was nice and hot. The mozzarella sticks were good too, interesting new shape. The potato skins were a little to thick and not very flavorful. For my main course I ordered the southwest burger medium rare with fries. The burger was packed with all sorts of fixings but it was just too much. The beef patty was flat to the point it could not be cooked medium rare and didn’t look much like beef at all. I actually ate around the edges of the burger to try to taste the beef to no avail. I did not finish because it was just miserable. My fiancé ordered the Shrimp Key West with squash. This was two shrimp skewers with the smallest shrimp I have seen served. They were atrociously over-cooked and they tasted like all of the other foods that were being cooked that day. The best description we could think of is that they tasted like greasy fried pieces of rubber. The squash was cut too think so it was not cooked all the way through and tasted just like the shrimp and drenched in some kind of sauce. We were completely dissatisfied and spent more than most places for lunch. The wait staff was friendly enough and are deserving of a better cook to make people want to come back. I am done with this place once and for all.

Food is standard for a TGIF. Antedotel accounts: 1-A little over a year ago, I went out to eat and found TWO long hairs in my dessert at the end of the meal. I brought this to the managers attention and sent it back, having lost my appetite. Then when the check came, I got charged for the food I didnt eat! After much arguing, they gave me a card for a free dessert on another visit, but still wanted me to pay for the food I NEVER ATE. I refused and handed the manager the total on the receipt, minus the one dessert. 2- I went about a year ago, willing to give this location another shot. I used debit card that I just received that day. So in other words, I had it for one day with no other uses. Later in the week, my account was flagged as someone was making purchases in NY and it seemed suspicious. Being as I and the TGIF waitress were the only two people to ever handle this card, I called The restaurant the next day and was informed "they were aware of the problem and released the waitress" and hung up on me. Not even an apology. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. YOUD BE WISE NOT TO GO EITHER! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST DRIVE THE EXTRA TEN MINUTES AND GO TO THE TGIF ON ROUTE 9 IN OLD BRIDGE!

Fridays was my favorite place to come to hang out with friends and enjoy a good meal. We were always treated respectfully until early today. There was a lack of waiters today which caused us to wait 30 minutes, this was no problem. Then when we ordered our food the waitress messed up the order and spilled something on my friends shoe. As a joke my friend said we should leave a penny as a tip. IT WAS A JOKE! We then procceded to pay the bill when all of a sudden the manager comes over to our table after one of us made a joke about leaving a penny as a tip and lectures us about giving a big tip. He then continued to say that we owe the waitress money due to our "excess food ordering". How were we gonna give the waitress money we didnt have?!?! He then pressured us into emptying our pockets(which had literally 50 cents each) for a decent restaraunt with decent service when we left what we owed and more already. It is not our fault we were short on money and you dont pay your servers enough. This traumatic experience left me angered with the whole restaraunt in general. The manager handled the situation poorly and judged us due to our age and lack of money. Plus while the manager was yelling at us the waitress was laughing in the background at us. I will never go to Fridays again unless they change the way things are done over there.

Food is so overpriced. I forgot to give my rewards card to the waiter and he never asked me for it--the next day when I contacted customer service, they said send them the receipt--I left it on the table when I paid cash. Corporate could not care less. (spent $32). They also have false advertising on their website---the 4/7/4 menu talks about getting a half portion on dessert for dinner---but when you go to this Fridays, that only applies to lunch. Again--corporates response was "well look into it". Obviously if the corporate office couldnt care less about the customers, the restaurant doesnt either. Wont go there again.

I had a $13.00 Jack Daniels bacon burger with a $1.50 upgrade to onion rings instead of French fries. Along with one 16 ounce draft that cost $7.25. The bill came to $22.85 and I left a $5.15 tip. Total cost for one burger and one beer plus tip $28.00. This is Hazlet not NYC. The flavors were good. The prices were high. The portions were small especially the onion rings that cost extra. I had no complaints with my server at the bar however I noticed the other bartender who was not serving me blew her nose more than once and did not wash or attempt to clean her hands.

I like this place , the food was good , service was good . I will say a gave a 2 star rating because 5.50 for a beer is insane 11.00 dollars for 2 beers ? I can buy a 12 pack for the same . I think youre taking advantage of your customers , and with that said . I will be going onto Facebook and letting everyone know how bad your business practices are and your ridiculous prices are for a simple beer and a burger . 20 plus dollars is outrageous ! Never will I step foot into a Fridays again .

We went on a Monday. Slow night. Only a handful of people at the bar and a few tables of people dining. Our waitress was extremely slow and kept disappearing. The endless apps are a waste of money!!! It took 30 minutes to get them and we were already almost finished with our main course before the next set came. She also messed up part of our order and it took another 30 min for them to fix it. Will not go back there. The service is horrible.

"They need to take the endless apps off the menu. Me and my family waited almost 40 minutes for burgers and kids food. The manager is horrible and should be in the kitchen getting food out. My waiter said they are back up because of the endless app. Take the endless apps off and maybe people can get there food faster." I will never go to that o e again.

Food was excellent, wait staff on point and genuinely friendly, quick to anticipate requests without hovering. Music was well managed - audible without being overwhelming or drowning out conversation. Drinks were well maintained - no having to wait 10+ minutes for refresh. Have eaten here many times - always solid but tonight especially well done.
