Ever since hte small cafe, Luna closed about nearly 2 years ago, this location has been a decent place to go and chill and have a drink while reading a book, e-reader or to study or just chill out. Tends to get a bit crazy in November usually on the Saturdays as its been a staple location of the local Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month) Mowtown Wrimos for at least 3-4 years. During those weekends you can see and say hi to over a dozen local folks participating in the annual madness of the challenge of a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. May see much caffeine abuse those weekends...XD Overall the staff is amazing and friendly. They are always in a good mood and seem to care about their work. Its pretty much my hole to hang at when I just want to get outta the house and chill to read, write or just relax/

I have been continually disappointed by this location. The drinks are often not made well. On my last visit, the location was a mess. The cream/sugar station was dirty, there were old newspapers on the tables and the floor had trash all over. There needs to be better management and improved standards at this location.

Service is great, baristas are always friendly and make conversation. They are willing to make my drink my way every time without any hassle and answer any questions you have. The employees really give the establishment a small town politeness that is really hard to find nowadays in the city

Friendly staff. Drinks are consistently made properly. Only negative is their cozy chairs need replaced. Theyre dirty looking at this point and need refreshed. I know stains cant be helped when coffee is involved, but its time to update.

ALWAYS serves THE BEST coffee EVERYTIME!!! SOO MUCH BETTER THAN 696/11 mile and Gratiot location!!! I will go OUT OF MY WAY to go to Mack and 8 mile location SPECIFICALLY this reason!

Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, they offer great coupons and rewards. I wish they had a drive through but since you have to go in, you get more personal service.

It is calm,the frozen lattes are blended fresh,and great choices for children. Happy employees also. The only downside would be the high prices.
